Hatred Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

~4 months later~
"So Presley..." "So Sid..." I smiled as my boyfriend came and sat on the couch next to me

"I was wondering since we've been together for a while now I was wondering if you wanted to come to the Christmas party with me?" Sid smiled hopeful my answer would be yes

"So come as your girlfriend like officially for the team and everything?" I asked concerned remembering the times I had spent in Pittsburgh. I was unsure if they would be welcoming to me but Sid assured me that everyone was fine with me and had no unresolved issues with me so I felt a little better about it but also was stressed about how I would be received
"I know you're scared about everyone from the team hating you but I promise that they will love you just like I do..." Sid said trailing off at the end realizing what he had just said
"Sidney..." I said looking over at him seeing his face becoming red and flustered until his eyes shot up to meet mine
"Presley I love you, I've loved you since the day I met you all those months ago I love you so much with all you quirky habits and your obsessions I love it all and if you can't say it now I understand but I just couldn't hold it in any more" Sid said before looking to me again scanning my face for a reaction as I leaned into him planting a kiss on his lips
"Sidney Crosby I love you so much you have no idea" I said before giving him another kiss. We stayed like that for a while kissing on his couch before we were interrupted by a few of his teammates coming through the door. A few days later it was time for the team's Christmas party. I had heard about family parties throughout the NHL tend to be a big deal the team, couches, trainers, and everyone from the offices came with their families for a skate and to socialize among the team. When I started working for the Penguins I realized this was a very important date marked on the calendar but it was very different coming to an event like this as a girlfriend then a trainer. No one really paid attention to who the trainer brought to the skate but all eyes were on who the captain of the team would bring to the skate. As I gathered it Sidney hadn't brought anyone to the skate since the first one he attended when he was drafted to the Penguins all those years ago. I wondered why he never brought anyone but I brushed it off realizing he probably hadn't had time to date since his focus was mainly hockey.
"Sidney! Glad you could make it!" a voice bellowed from down the hallway of the Consol Energy Center as Sidney and I walked in
"Coach great to see you, I want you to meet my girlfriend Presley Adams" Sidney said placing his hand on the small of my back as Coach Johnston shook my hand
"It's great to meet you Presley it good to see Sid having his time spent somewhere other then hockey, if you'll exucse" He smiled walking down the hallway to welcome other players and their families.
"I love this" I smiled walking hand in hand with Sid into the dressing room to put skates on for the family skate
"What?"
"Being with you and being introduced as your girlfriend" I blushed walking in
"Well I love having you here and being able to call you my beautiful girlfriend" Sid smiled giving me a kiss as we sat at his stall.
"Would you two get a room!" Brandon Sutter said walking in
"Don't be jealous Sutter cause you're single" Sid mocked him. Soon both Sid and I had skates on our feet we made our way to ice. The closer we got the more nervous I got knowing I had never ben ice skating before. right before we stepped onto the ice I grabbed Sid's arm
"I've never been on ice before" I said nervously looking out onto the ice
"Are you kidding?" Sid asked shocked and I shook my head "Awe babe don't worry it's easy I'll teach you, here take my hand and hold on tight I won't let you fall I promise" Sid said helping me out onto the ice. He stood in front of me with his arms out pulling me across the ice giving me instructions on how to skate and how to get mocement going beneath my skates. After a while I finally got the hang of it and was able to almost do it by myself and only held onto one of Sid's hands as we skated around the rink. The rest of the day was spent meeting and mingling with the other WAGs and familes and all of them were so welcoming and nice! I could really get used to being the girlfriend to the great Sidney Crosby!

Hey Guy :)

So I have to apologize for not updating in forever since my finals last month my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer and my grandmother had a massive heart attack the day after his oncologist appointment and passed away on May 4th and my grandfather just passed away last Monday so my life has been a wreck the past month but now things are starting to calm down so my plan is to get back on a regular or as close to regular updating as possible!
