Hatred Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

As I heard the voice from behind me I continued talking to Sid pretending I didn't hear it
"Presley I know you can hear me" the voice said again
"Uh Pres I think that guy is trying to get you attention Sid said pointing behind me. I shut my eyes slowly turning around
"Oh God Presley it is you!" Mike said grabbing me and pulling me into a hug "So you don't wait for me and you go off and find someone else? You really think he likes you look at you! You're mine and you know how I don't like to be disrespected Presley Adams!" Mike said into my ear so only I could hear him "I'm sorry my name is Mike I'm Presley's Boyfriend" Mike said sticking out his hand to shake Sid's
"Her boyfriend? It's great to meet you my names Sid" Sid smiled shaking his hand giving me a look. I tried to mouth to Sid that this was not what it looked like but he wasn't understanding me. "She never mentioned her boyfriend" Sid said to Mike
"She's definitely a private person and we did have a little bit of a fight before I left for a while but it broke my heart to find her gone when I got back" Mike explained with a tear in his eye. It disgusted me how he could act like he cared so much and act like he was the victim in all of this but above all what exactly was he doing in Pittsburgh?
"Oh she's definitely private" Sid said taking a sip of his drink
"So how do you two know each other?" Mike asked tightening his grip on my hip
"He uhhh I work wit him now I graduated so I work now" I stuttered trying to act as calmly as possible. Mike finished off his drink standing up from the bar
"So if you only work together you won't mind if I take her off your hands for the night?" Mike asked putting his arm around my shoulder. I gave Sid a pleading look trying to get him to save me but it didn't work
"She's all yours no practice tomorrow so you guys have fun" Sid said walking around
"It was great to meet you" Mike smiled "Let's. Go. Now." Mike said grabbing my arm and pulling me from the bar to the outside I tried pulling my arm away but that only made him hold on tigher. Once outside I tried to get away knowing that if I got into his car it was all over
"You guy's okay?" The bouncer asked seeing him pull me into his car
"Oh yea we're fine she just had a little to much to drink I'm just trying to get her home" Mike told the bouncer
"I'm not drunk!" I shouted sounding more drunk then I actually was making Mike and the bouncer laugh
"Good luck with her tonight"
"Thanks Man" Mike shut the car door walking around to the drivers side. He silent until the first smack rang across my face
"That's for not waiting for me like I told you to" And another he punched the side of my head "That's for being at a bar with another guy" Mike started driving faster and I wished he would crash just to end it all. After a while we got back to his house, the huge mansion where I spent so many days locked away waiting for bruises and cuts to heal.
"Now you're going to walk into that house like the good girl you are understand?" I agreed jumping out of the car calmly walking in. He followed shutting the door, as soon as it shut I felt another blow to my head making me fall to the floor earning a kick to my stomach. He kicked my head and everything went blurry his voice sounded miles away and I felt myself start to fade away and I thought for sure this was the end I was dying.

I slowly started to slowly opned my eyes when I shap pain hit me from my head to my toes. I groaned trying to sit up but it hurt to badly. My eyes were blurry ut after a minute I could see again as I started looking around seening a man sat in the corner asleep.
"Really you took me to the hospital?" I groaned trying again to get up
"Hey, Pres come on don't get up" The man jumped up walking over to me
"Don't touch me I'm calling the police you can't do this again Mike" I said to him trying to find my phone
"Hey, Pres it's me...it's Sidney you're okay you're at the hospital" Sid said putting his arm around me
"Sid, oh god no you can't see me like this oh god no" I cried
"Hey don't cry you're safe now I'm sorry I let you leave with him Pres I'm so sorry"
