It's been a few days since I told Tom that I was pregnant and we both decided that it would be hard to wait for Thanksgiving, so we went back a week prior, for my parent's anniversary and my dad's birthday. The parents didn't think that it was strange that I was wearing one of Tom's jersey in the car and at dinner. I had a 'Daddy' jersey in a bag and had written 'Mum and Dad' on it. Neither of our parents knew that we were coming, we wanted it to be a surprise. "Hello!" we yelled, knowing that our parents would be together, after yelling at Tom to take off his shoes. "Hey!" James said and offered me his seat. "Happy Birthday, Mum and congrats you two" I said over the table. Tom handed my parents the bag and got me a bottle of water from the fridge. We just stared at my parents and Tom got me a plate of food

Tom's POV
Maggie can't keep a secret for more than a day, so we wanted to tell our parents before Thanksgiving and it was her Mum's birthday and the Ryan's anniversary the week before Thanksgiving. I loaded up my tank, as she called it and grabbed the passports and we were off. She wore my jersey, as usual and she slept for most of the drive, which I think is the first time in a while that she slept for more than 4 hours. I kept glancing over at her as she slept and I put my hand on her belly and I couldn't be happier. We got into her paren't house and sat down after yelling at me to take off my shoes. *Some things never change* I thought. She wished her Mom a happy birthday and I handed her Mum the bag with a 'Daddy' jersey with my number on it. "You're pregnant?!" both our parents exclaimed "Well I'm not, but she is" I said "Sir, I know that we aren't married" I started telling her dad "Tom, I see you two together and there is no one else that I would want to be my grandchild's dad. Just promise me that you'll take care of the two of them" "Daddy, I'm right here" she said and started drinking the water. "I know Maggie, I just want you to be taken care of" "Yes, Daddy" she said and started eating dinner. It was then that I realized that she looked identical to her mother, but they argue about how much they don't look anything alike. Pete looked at me and said "I want what you two have. I see the way that you look at her and it's the same way that our parent's look at each other. I'll be the cool uncle" "I'm pretty sure that my brothers will beg to differ about that one" "Fair enough" he said laughing. I had my brothers on face time 'hey looser' they greeted me with 'Hey Maggie'' Jamie said when he realized that she was next to me "you two bastards are gonna be uncles" "are we really bastards? Mom and Dad were married before we were born, unlike you two'' "I'm right here!" Mags said "Maggie, that's not aimed at you, its aimed at Tommy here. Jackass" Pete said. "I don't know how to respond to that" she said and hung up and we all went to bed
