Tom's POV
I was walking from the player's lot to practice when I got the phone call. "Is this Tom Wilson?" the person on the other line asked ''Uh yeah, why?" Your fiance is here at MedStar Washington Hospital and she's been in an accident. I can't say anything else over the phone" I ran up to Coach and told him what I knew so far. "Take as much time as you need" he said. I drove to the Hospital immediately. "I'm here to see my fiance, Maggie Ryan" "She's in room 142, just follow the blue line and it will be on the first room on the right" "Thanks" I said and looked for her. When I got into the room, she was asleep and a nurse was checking her vitals "She was hit when she tried to turn onto Illinois Ave. She's fine; she has some cuts and scrapes from when her head hit the steering wheel and hit part of the broken front window. The seat belt saved her; she would have gone flying across the street. The baby didn't make it. I'll be down the hall and come find me if you need anything" She said. I sat by the window and the first person I called was her dad "Mr Ryan, Maggie was an accident and the baby didn't make it." "I'm sorry to hear that, Tom. Do you need us to come there?" "No, not yet. She's still sleeping and I'm trying to be comfortable in this shitty chair. I'll call when I know more" next, I called Mum "Hi Mum, Maggie's been in an accident and we lost the baby. No, don't come yet I'll call when I know more. Bye Mum" 'Darling, please wake up, I don't know how to live without you, you're my everything. It's always been the two of us forever and always and to infinity and beyond' I wispered. "Hi gorgeous" I told her when she started moving. "Where am I?" she asked "MedStar Hospital. You were an accident" I told her and noticed that she put her hand on her stomach "The baby didn't make it" I told her and she started crying.

Maggie's POV
"I lost us the baby, Tommy" I said "No you didn't unless if you paid the other car to hit you at that time. The nurse said that the seat belt saved your life. Margret, I don't know what I would do without you. I mean it. I love you more than life itself and hockey. Get some sleep, love" he told me I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. I didn't feel anything, like I was numb the whole time. "Tommy do our parents know?" "I called your parents first and then I called mine. If you want them here, just say the word" "I don't know yet. I know that I need to sleep, but I can't. Can you come lay next to me I can't sleep without you next to me. I sleep in your shirts and sleep on your pillow when your on the road." "Let me know if this hurts at all" he said and maneuvered his way next to me "I love you" he told me "Love you too"

"How are you doing?" Latts and Burky asked when they walked in a couple of hours later and handed her the flowers and some chocolate that they brought. "I want to move on and right now, I wanna sleep" She said and kicked them out of the room. "Sorry guys, the fiance gets what the fiance wants." I said to enforce it "See you guys later."

Maggie got out of the hospital the next day, they wanted to keep her overnight to make sure that everything was fine. "Maggie, take my hand" I said as I offered her my hand and carried her up into our bed. "I heard what you said about me, Tommy I'm so glad to have you. I honestly don't know what I would do if we never met." She said to me
