I was going back to my parents house for Christmas holiday and got a phone call from Tom. "Hey Tommy, you're on speaker love" "Why am I on speaker?" "I'm packing up to go back to my parents and holding the phone would get in the way." That was when my roommate walked in "Hey Maggie'' "Hi Lauren. I'm not talking to myself, I'm on the phone with my boyfriend" "Good to know. I didn't know that you have a boyfriend" she said "It never came up and I don't like to go out of my way to talk about him, sorry Tom" I said, knowing that he would hear it. "That makes sense, love." "Who is he?" Lauren asked "Tom Wilson, a player for the Whalers" "Yeah right" she said, like I was crazy "Love, what team do you play for?" "The Plymouth Whalers, Mags. You know that. Show her my jersey that you swim in when you wear it" "Just getting it off the hanger, Tommy" "Here is a picture after one of his games last season" I said, showing her. "I'm sorry I thought you were lying" Since I was done packing, I took Tom of speaker. "She seems...lovely" he said "She's hit on my brother and your brothers when I took her home for Thanksgiving break, since she's a Yank. I felt sorry for her and didn't want her to be the only one here. Your mum even showed her pictures of all of us together and I don't think she even cared." "Well that's her lost then, we're all pretty damn awesome" he said, knowing that it would make me laugh. "Tommy, are you coming over for the Christmas party?" "Are you kidding? That's my favorite party of the year"

Present day
Tom's POV
Maggie woke me up screaming "My water just broke jackass" I grabbed the bag and helped her up and rushed to the car. Since it was 3 am, there wasn't any traffic. When we got to the hospital, some of the staff was starstruck over me "I'll sign anything as long as it isn't body parts later. Focus on my fiance" I said a little harsher than I had indented, but it worked. I waited until we got a room and sent a text to the group chat we had going, it was my parents, her parents, my brothers, Pete and his lady (As Mags called her) that we had gotten to the hospital and that the doctor would be there soon
