Why Are You So Obsessed With Me?

I couldn’t sleep at all last night because I was thinking what Brandon said. 'What would make you change your mind to come home early? No matter what you choose I will still be there for you no matter what’ and with that I change my mind. Brandon was so happy that I did and both Jane and Brandon were going to help me pack up tomorrow. Watching the clock on my wall was like watching paint dry. I didn’t know how to get back to sleep or get my mind out of the funk that I am going to be back home. Then I had something in mind, I got out of bed and grab my journal. I have been writing in here since the day I came in here. Dr. Copper told me that writing might help me and help me become a better writer. Sitting back on to my bed and looking at the blank paper. Should I write this about me and how I met Brandon or what Hunter did to me after?
'My name is …..' should I gave out my own name or make someone up. I cross the first line from the page.
'This is the moment where not only my life has been change but also people around me. My name is Tamara Witmore and I have gone through a lot of shit these past couple of years.' I wrote this down.
“Now where to beginning?” I asks out loud. Looking back at the clock and it was 5:27 in the morning. I just kept on writing and writing when then there was a knock on the door.
“Come in.” I said without even looking off of the page.
“Well it looks like someone’s back to normal.” I hear Jane behind me. I see the clock again and it was 8:37AM. I put the pen down and rubbed my face. Jane walked to my bed and sat down.
“Brandon told me what happen yesterday.” I nodded my head didn’t know how to tell Jane that it’s the best or that I can’t stop saying no to Brandon.
“So have to made up your mind about really leaving today.” I put down my pen and looked at Jane. I do miss my routine that I had in Pittsburgh. But then I will miss the routine that I had here. The look on Jane’s face said it all. That she miss me and she has lots to tell me when I was gone.
“I will go home today.” Jane jumped up and down.
“I am so happy that your coming home today. Everyone miss you and your parents are going to our place to welcome you home.”
“Everyone miss me?”
“Yeah all the players on Brandon’s team have been asking me how you are doing.”
“Even Robert?” When Robert came out of my mouth. I can see that Jane couldn’t get the smile off of her face.
“You like Robert a lot don’t you.”
“I do really, such a sweet guy and close to Brandon. We have a date when we get back.”
“Wow that’s awesome for you. Have you heard anything about —.”
“No we aren’t bringing him up right now Ty.” I nodded my head because I knew that if I say his name then hell will break lose.
“Tyler, I want you home right now and you need to let him go. Focus on your writing and Brandon. Which I see your doing one of them right now.” I look to my journal and see it’s almost half written.
“Now Dr. Copper wants to see you again before we leave. So I am going to pack your stuff while you are seeing her.”

Jane
When I talked to Brandon he told me that she wanted to stay longer. I knew that this was going to happen when Tyler told me that Brandon wasn’t coming. She does this when she doesn’t get her way. But I know a way to get Tyler to listen. After talking to Brandon of what he needs to say to change Tyler’s mind. Not even a day later, he called me back and I could hear it in his voice that she change her mind. While Tyler is a rehab, I been getting closer to the team. More with Robert Bortuzzo than any other player on the team. He’s nice, sweet and will do anything for me. While I was packing up Tyler’s stuff. I got a text from Robert.
R: Can’t wait to see you, miss you and your eggs in the morning. :)
J: Well I miss your burn toast too. I will be back soon, safe and sound.
Everything was pack and now I have to wait for Tyler. When I get a phone called from Hunter’s mother.
‘Not again.’ I said under my breath.
“Hi, Mrs. Vermont.”
“Jane, I have some bad news and it’s about Hunter. Hum, Hunter killed him self a couple of hours ago. Will you please send a message to Tyler that this isn’t her fault from all of this.” Then she hung up from me. Looking up I see that Tyler had a smile on her face and now can’t wait to get out of here.
On the plane ride back home, all I could think of how he did it. He wanted to do this for a long time and now that he did it. What next?”
“So you and Robert?” Tyler cutting into my thoughts.
“When did this happen?”
“About a month ago. It was after they were having a 10 game winning streak. They bet the Devils and they were going to the clubs to celebrate. I was dancing around when he came up to me and asked me out. Robert is an amazing guy.”
“Well I’m glad that you have someone.”
“Tyler you do have someone waiting for you home. Brandon loves you more than any man should for anyone. The way I ask him about you. He lights up like a christmas tree. He could have been there for you but the rehab couldn’t and the Penguins were on the rehab’s side of this whole mess.”
“So you think I’m a mess?”
“No I didn’t say that your a mess, it was just the timing was just a mess. I know that you are still upset about this. Just please don’t put this on Brandon. He won’t say no to you. Please just for once stop thinking about yourself and do this for Brandon. If you think that this is your fault from this whole shit fest, then you are so fucking wrong. I feel so upset that I did this to you. Putting you in the hospital, rehab and now this. Don’t blame this on Brandon nor the Penguins. Blame it on me your best friend who travel to a different state to pick you up, your best friend who cares about you more than a sister would have done in their lifetime.” After that I put my headphones on and close my eyes. When we got off the plane, I didn’t speak to her for the rest of the ride till we got into our apartment. Opening the door to our apartment it was a surprise party for a welcome home for Tyler. Robert was there and the whole team. Tyler was behind me and I can see the look on her face that she got the message clear. That Brandon would do anything for her. She ran up to him and crash her lips on to his. When Robert saw my face, he knew that there was something wrong. I walked into my room and waited for him.
“Jane what’s wrong?”
“I’m going to tell you and you can’t tell anyone, that means Brandon to.” He nodded his head.
“Before we got on to the plane, I got a phone call from Hunter’s mother. Hunter killed himself but I don’t know how. Seeing Tyler out there makes me think of if I should tell her or not. She will find out soon but I just don’t know when. I don’t know when I am going to tell Brandon. I think he will have a party for having Hunter not being here anymore.” I was rambling and I didn’t know how and when I was going to stop. When Robert place his hands onto my shoulders.
“Jane, everything is going to be alright. You know that I am here for you and that you can stay with me.” I laugh a little.
“Yea with you, me, Beau and Jayson. Don’t give me wrong I do love the guys but not living with them. That’s too much for me.”
“Your right but I can come live with you too. It’s not that I don’t have that much stuff and I do care about you a lot Jane.”
“Thanks Robert.” He gave me a kiss on the cheek and we went back to the party.


Tyler’s P.O.V
In the morning I was the first person to be up. I couldn’t get enough sleep since I haven’t slept on this bed for two months. Also the fact people last night telling me that I’m strong and Brandon is a great person to have around. Bla, bla ... all the crap I have heard before from the last time I came out of rehab but with Brandon in the picture. I grab my notebook and headed into the kitchen. There’s something about writing in the kitchen makes me feel like I can get a lot of things done for my story. Making some coffee to help me wake better and off to make another great chapter.
Brandon’s P.O.V
The smell of coffee is always a great thing to wake up to. Rubbing my eyes and I didn’t see Tyler on her side of the bed. Walking out of her bedroom and spotted her in the kitchen writing, taking a sip of her coffee. Pouring my own cup of coffee and went over to kiss the top of Tyler’s head.
“Morning sweetie. DId you get a good night sleep in your own bed?”
“Somewhat, do you want to come with me to Barnes and Noble after practice?” More time with with, Hell Yes !
“That would be great.” I rubbed my thumb across her cheek.
“I’m so happy that you're home.”
“Me too.”
Tanner came over and picked me up for practice. We were talking about what we might to do today for practice. Tanner had the country radio playing in the background and I could think of that night when Tyler and I were dancing to that country song.
“Someone has a peep to his step today.” Tanner laughed a little.
“I’m just so glad that Tyler is back and everything is back to normal.”
“She has changed you a lot.”
“She has Glasser. I mean I would do anything for this girl and what happen to her in the past couple of years I know that she needs me more than I need her.”
“Wow, you're in love bro.” He gave me a fist bump. All I wanted to do was to be with Tyler. I wanted to show everyone that I did have a peep in my step. I was skating on the ice with problems. Tanner and some of the guys knew why I was head over heels today. After practice I took a quick shower and now I have to wait for Rob. Rob and I were heading to Tyler and Jane’s place. I’m glad that Rob had a girlfriend now. He’s been sad for a while because a lot of our teammates have wives and girlfriends , Rob hasn’t found anyone till Jane came out of nowhere to see how I was doing while Tyler was in rehab.
“So what are you and Jane going to do today?”
“Well Jane told me that the full seasons of House M.D was on Netflix. She said that she loves this show and I have never seen it before. Brandon there’s something I need to tell you and I don’t know when Tyler’s going to tell you.”
“You knocked her up didn’t you.” I smiled and Rob pushed me a little.
“No, it’s about Hunter. She pulled me aside and told me that Hunter finally did it. Hunter killed himself. Jane wants to tell Tyler but she doesn’t know how she would take this. Would this might take her back to rehab?” I was in shocked that Hunter did it but relief that he did because that means he won’t get near Tyler or us. When we got into the apartment Jane was already watching House M.D and Tyler was on her Macbook.
“Ready?” She looked up and had a cute smile on her face. The smile looked like she was ready to go to Disney World.
As we walked around Barnes and Noble, I was watching her looking at what books she wants to buy. She had a list of what books she wants to buy.
“Have you ever thought of getting the kindle?”
“Sometimes but I love the feel of the pages when I turn them. I know that it’s saves trees and all the green crap. But the smell of the ink and the pages always comfort me.”

As I watch Tyler looking at books, I was thinking of what Rob told me. Yes I’m glad that he’s out of our picture of Tyler and I relationship but he shouldn’t take his life away because she didn’t love him the way she loves me. Then my phone was telling me that someone was calling me. When I looked at my phone it was Tanner calling me.

“Hey Tanner what’s up?”
“Emily is sick and I have to take her to the doctors. So I was wondering if you could watch Sawyer for a little bit and I know you will have Tyler with you.”
“Sure I think that’s fine. Were almost done shopping around at Barnes and Noble, then we can come over.”
“Awesome we will see you soon then.”When I hung up the phone Tyler gave me a confuse look on her face.
“Emily …. Tanner’s wife is sick and they need to go to the doctors, so Tanner just asks me if we could watch Sawyer for a little bit. Are you ok with that?”
“Yea I’m ok with that and I am done here anyway. I think people are staring at you.”When we got to Tanner’s place. Emily was in the car and she did really look sick. Tanner came out of the garage and had Sawyer in his arms. Tyler had her arms stretch out to get a hold of Sawyer.
“Hey little bear.”Tyler was bouncing up and down to make him smile.
“Thanks so much you guys. I just got home and see look like that I knew that we needed to go to the doc. We might be back in a couple of hours.”
“Take your time, we got a handle of this. Right Sutter?” Tyler was smiling with Sawyer.

Tyler's P.O.V

When they got into the living room there were a lot of baby toys laying around. Brandon turn on the TV and it as already on NHL network. I was playing around with Sawyer and I could feel that Brandon wasn’t watching the TV anymore.
“I didn’t know that you were great with babies.”
“I have the touch of it beside lots of babysitting helps too. Gosh he looks just like his dad a lot. The blue eyes and the smile that he has.”
“Have you ever though of having kids?”Brandon came over and sat with me.
“I never had the time to think about it because I never been a serious relationship. But if I want to have child I want to have a girl first. Then lets see how I could mange one than see what leads on to that.”I looked up at Brandon to see what he’s thinking.
“I know that you want a boy to keep the last name alive, I mean come on Sutter needs to live for ever in the NHL.” He laugh a little.
“Any names for the girl?” I went back to look at Sawyer and he had one of his toys in his mouth.
“Dylan.”
“As a girl’s name?”
“Well my name is a boy’s name so why not.”
“What about a boy’s name?"
“I haven’t though of a boys name yet. What do you think of a boys name?”
“Colton.”
“That’s a cool name. Colton Brandon Sutter.”
“You want to use my name has his middle name. But what about your girls middle name?”
“How about Dylan Emily Sutter sound to you?”
“Perfect, just like you.”He reach down and gave me a kiss on the lips. Sawyer was getting hungery and I look all over the kitchen to find something to eat. Brandon had Sawyer in the kangaroo pouch. He looked kinda funny and sexy while he was wearing that. When I found a full bottle of milk in the frig and warm it up. Went over to the boys and fed Sawyer. Tanner and Emily came just in time to feed him the rest.
“Hey baby bear, did you behave for aunty Tyler and Uncle Brandon?”Tanner came over and pick him up.
“He was amazing Tanner.”
“Thanks again guys I can take it over now.”
“Bye guys.”

When we got back to my place. I could hear Rob and Jane having a argument about something. Going into the kitchen I see that there were some flower on the kitchen island.
“Now she’s going to ask about the flowers?” Jane push her hair back from her face.
“Hey guys.” Jane jump a little when she heard my voice.
“What’s going on?” Rob had his hand on the back of his neck. Then I pointed out the flowers.
“Why are there flower on the kitchen island?”
“You just need to tell her now because she will find out sooner than later.” Rob looked back at Jane.
“These flowers are for you.”Jane handed me the card that came with the flower.
“Sorry for your lost. From Claire”
“I didn’t lose anything and why is Hunter’s mom sending me flowers?”I was confused but everyone else seems to know what’s going on even Brandon. I looked at Brandon and he put his hands up in the air.
“I found out a couple of hours ago and I don’t know who’s going to spill the beans.”Brandon looked over at Tyler.
“Fine I guess that I have too. While you were in rehab, Tyler I need to hear the word that are coming out of my mouth for you to understand. Hunter took his life away while you were in rehab.”I couldn’t find any word to respond to that or my voice to even tell them that I am fine. The look on Brandon’s face saying that he wanted to tell me but didn’t know when and how.
“So what’s done is done.”I nodded my head and went into my room.
