Four Years Later (Squeal to My New Life)

Six months later and it was the middle of April. The last month till the playoffs starts. But today is the day that Sid and Rebecca would find out if they are going to have a boy or another girl. Some of the players like James, Sid and Mike on a bet of what they are going to have. Pascal said if it’s going to be a boy they should name the boy after him. Rebecca heard about that story and rolled her eyes. After what they were having Sid walked into the dressing room and everyone was staring at him.
“We are having a boy.” Everyone cheer and clap for him.
“That mean he’s going to be named after me than.” Pascal said with a winning smile on him.
“Rebecca told me to tell you over her dead body, so that would be a no with your name.”
“Damn it.”

Today was the last game of the season till the Penguins will have to play against the Capitals. Sid, James and Mike were a healthy scratch for tonights game against Ottawa. During the first intermission the game was tied 1-1. Sid and James were talking about the Capitals. Mike and Rebecca were on their phones. A plate of nachos on top of Rebecca’s big stomach. Sarah was talking to the other WAGS, while the kids were just playing around.
“So have you and Sid picked out names yet?”
“We have but we won’t tell people till we can see him. It would be safe if not to tell anyone first just in case we change our mind the last second. How are you and Hazel doing?”
“Doing good, she’s coming here soon and we have some good news. By the way you look amazing when your pregnant.”
“Thank you.” Then James was standing by Rebecca’s chair.
“Is there anything you need sis?”
“No I think I am good for right now.”
“Do you mind if I could talk to my sister alone.”
“Sure.” Mike got up from the chair and headed into the bar.
“So just up brother.” James fished out a small box.
“I’m going to ask Sarah to marry me I just don’t know when.”
“You should ask her after you guys will win the cup.”
“But what if we don’t win the cup?”
“Trust me you guys will.” Then in the corner of Rebecca’s eye she could see Hazel coming in. Rebecca and Hazel met for the first time about five months ago. They both click it off and Rebecca was happy that Mike found her.
“Hey Rebecca.” Hazel helped her up from the chair and gave her a hug.
“Good. So I heard you have some big news.”
“Yes I’m surprise that Mike didn’t tell you now but I am having a baby.”
“Wow that’s amazing.” Mike came over to the group.
“Mike you should have told me about it than for me to wait for Hazel to tell me.”


A three months later their son was here and came on a good time for Sid and the Penguins. They beat the Capitals in game 6,they beat Montreal in game 7 and they had to won the Stanley Cup at home game 7 against Colorado.

Now the whole family was now in Cole Harbor waiting for Rebecca to be in labor. Sid was his boat trying to calm down and thinking back that if he stop looking for Rebecca than he wouldn’t be married. Being a farther to Kaley and having a son on the way. Or winning his second Stanley cup. His phone cut into his thought and it was James that was calling him.
“Anything?”
“Yes now get your ass on land because it’s about to happen.”
About three hours later the room was filled with a baby crying to life. Sid and Rebecca were in tears when they see their son in Rebecca’s arms.
“Do you have a name for your son?”
“Yes we do and it’s Andrew Benjamin Crosby.”
"I love that.” The nurse wrote it down on his birth certificate. Sidney lean closer to Andrew and Rebecca.
"Hey buddy this is your mom. Can't wait to put you in the Stanley Cup when I get it in a couple of weeks. Andrew looked just like Sid when he was a baby.


Mike and Hazel had a baby girl name Aubrey Katherine Green, they did get married after Aubrey turned one. James and Sarah had a small wedding. They had a twins a boy and girl name. The boy’s name is Zachary Ian Neal and for the girl’s name is Sophie Ann Neal.
