Four Years Later (Squeal to My New Life)

I was driving back from the airport and I had a great time in D.C. When I pulled into the drive way I see that there was someone on the porch waiting for us.
"Daddy!" Kaley yelled. She got out of the car and ran up to Sid. What was Sid doing here? He didn't tell me that he was coming. Sid pick her up and waited for me. Kaley went into her room and I went to put our clothes in the laundry room.
"So Sid, why are you doing here? I though you were with the guys?"
"I was, we got home last night and then I got a text from James. He send me to this link and I saw this." He showed me on his phone. It was when Mike came with us to the zoo and me having a good time with the Capitals players.
"I didn't know that you were going to be Washington."
"Well it was a last second thing and it was for her school. I didn't know until I got home."
"What about that night?”
"Mike got us tickets for everyone and he ask me if I wanted to go out with the guys if they win the game."
"Mike was holding your hand!" He yelled.
"Sid, you need to calm down and he was drunk. I didn't do anything with him. Do you trust me?" It was quiet. Sid shouldn't take this long to answer that back.
"Sid? Do you trust me?" He was looking away. I move pass him.
"I need you to leave now, if your not going to answer my question then I am not going to let you see Kaley."
"You got to be fucking kidding with me right now!" I hit him on the shoulder.
"No I am not! You don't say that language in my house!"
"I just wish that you told me! That's all! I just got you back and I though that you won't see him again!" He was now screaming at me. His face was really red, I could see that Kaley was standing in the kitchen watching what's going on.
"Kaley why don't you play outside so daddy and I could talk." She walk over outside.
"I need you to clam down and let's talk in a normal tone." Sid was breathing really hard.
"Yes I'm sorry that I didn't told you. I though that you wanted to focus on the games more than us."
"That's not true at all! You two are always on my mind even when I didn't know where you were. I just got you back in my life. Rebecca I do trust you, it's just going to take time."
"Take time!" Now I am yelling at Sid.
"How long is it going to take to having you to trust me?"
"I don't know then."
"Then why should we get marry then. If you can't trust me which that's the whole part of getting married. Do you want to marry me?"
"Yes I do."
"Then why aren't you trusting me at all?!"
"I don't know."
"Do you want to have your daughter?"
"Yes."
"If you do want that than you do need to trust me. Get married, have your daughter, we will move to Pittsburgh and have an amazing life together as a family." It took a second to cool down.
"I'm sorry for what I said that I don't trust you, I love you and I can't wait when it comes true." He place his hands on my shoulders.
“I just need you to stop holding against me of what I did. I know what I did and everyday I feel like a bad mother.”
“What am I holding against you?”
“This.” I lifted my arms around me to show him the house, where we are in Portland, not in Pittsburgh. Having Kaley far from Sid or Mike.
“Kaley I am not holing it against you.”
“Yes you are, you just said "You two are always on my mind even when I didn't know where you were. I just got you back in my life.” You have been saying at since we came back to Pittsburgh.” Sid came a little closer.
“Rebecca I am sorry for saying that to you. It’s just that I forget sometimes that this isn’t a dream. I don’t want to wake up from this and see that I am in a hotel room during the season. Not having you home with Kaley getting ready for school or doing something for the family.”
“This isn’t a dream this is real and I need you to trust me on this one. I should have called you the moment I found out about this trip. Maybe I shouldn’t went with Mike and the team to have fun. I have been with all of those kids more than I wanted to be. It’s been awhile since I have been with adults since having Kaley.” Sid wrapped me around his arms and kiss the top of my head.

Two months later Kaley was done with school and now we are getting the stuff that we need to pack. Penguins are going to play the Islanders for the first round of the playoffs. The first game was amazing, Flower was being the best goalie I have ever seen him in the whole half season. After the game, I could see that Sid was ready to get back on the ice. He has been working out with the jaw thing on his helmet when the doctor told him he can go back on the ice to work out. It's nice having a close bond with some of the penguins family because I can just drop off Kaley at one of their house. Today Kaley's going to hang out with the Kunitz's family today. The boys have the day off since how they did last night. So all of the Penguins WAG's are coming with me the last touching of my wedding dress. Sid was going to stay with the kids and his teammates that could stay.
"This is going to be fun." Marc- Andre's wife smiled.

Sid's P.O.V
While the kids are up stairs playing around. All of the guys and I were in the living room getting ready to play poker. Craig was getting the beer, Flower was getting the food from the BBQ place I wanted to try out for a long time. The food was soft for me to eat. Nealer had a chips and the cards for us to play. Once we got everything ready it was now game time. There wasn't any money involved but we do play a lot of bets into the game. There was this one time that we made Sutter has to TP coach's place. It didn't go well at all. However the look on his face was priceless.
"Sid, when's your bachelor party?" Nealer ask.
"Well since the wedding is not until the playoffs are done. The date is July 28 and so I was thinking of having it two days before the wedding."
"What are we going to do then?"Sutter ask.
"Well I wanted to be low key since no one from the media knows that Rebecca and I were dating. Or even engage. I was thinking maybe at my place in Cole Harbor and just fish. What do you think?"
"To me I think that sounds great, not all bachelor party have to be like the hangover movie." Duper smiled.
"That's all settle." I place my cards down.
"I have a flush." I win. All of the guys slam their cards down and I grab all of the chips from the middle of the table.

Once I read about 10 books of Kaley. I got her to sleep now, it's my turn to go to bed. I feel on to the bed, Rebecca came out of the bathroom and she look amazing. Just only wearing a white long sleeve shirt, but I could see she's wearing a sports bra and Boy Briefs on.
"Did you had a nice time with the girls?"
"Yeah I did, I just wish that Molly was there, it was the last final time I will put on the dress before the big day." She climb into bed with me.
"Did you had a nice time with the boys?"
Yeah we just played poker and I bet them at all of the games that we played. I press my lips on to here and she giggle a little.
"What?" I ask her.
"Nothing, it's just been a while that we talk like this. We been stress with everything right now and I love this."
"You know that I have been dreaming in my head about this every night before I go to bed. You telling me how your day with and what Kaley wanted to do today. Being here means everything to me. So this leads me to tell you first that I am going to play tomorrow's game against the Islanders." She had a huge smile on her face.
"That's great news, I'm so happy for you and the fan will go crazy when they hear the new tomorrow." She kiss me again and place her head on to my chest and fell asleep.
