Hello, my name is...

Three days had passed since Carey, Jonathan, Corey, Tuukka, Petr, and Henrik had found themselves in 1949. They have yet to get close to figuring out what they were doing in Toronto or why they we're sent back to 1949.

The only thing they had come close to figuring out is that it had something to with hockey. It's still up for debate as to why, but it certainly was about hockey. After all that's the only thing that made sense to any of them.

Something was still bothering Tuukka though, he couldn't shake that man from his head. It wasn't that he look familiar, far from it actually, Tuukka just didn't get how he kept showing up. That and the man seemed to know something, something none of the goalies could figure out.

“Angela probably scared out of her mind by now,” Carey mumbled, throwing the book he was looking at on the table.
“I'm sure,” Corey said, “I'm also sure our teams are trying to figure out where we are.”
“What if they don't know we left?” Henrik spoke up.
“What are you talking about Lundqvist?” Tuukka asked, it was a pretty crazy thought.
“What if whatever brought us here was able to stop time in the 21st century. It makes just as much sense as six goalies traveling back in time.”
“Possibly.”

Another hour passed before anymore conversation was stirred up by the group. Throughout he three days they were there, most of it had been spent at the local library. As well as around the hockey stadium and in the park.

No one had seen mystery man since he gave them the hockey update. It wasn't until Corey found a newspaper from 1917 that things started to add up. Well, the picture helped explain who the mystery man was, sort of.

“Jon, look a this,” Corey pointed to the picture on the front page, “Doesn't he look familiar?”
“That's that guy” Jonathan said.
“Yeah, this was taken in 1917, when the first NHL game was played.”
“So the guy’s either a player, or…”
“Or he's Tommy Gorman,” Corey summed up.

“Good afternoon fellas, come any closer?” The mystery man, aka Tommy Gorman, said.
“What are you talking about?” Carey asked.
“Sorry, we haven't officially met yet. Hello, my name is Joe Gorman.”
“Hi,” Corey said, “my name is-”
“I know who all of you are-”
“How, and prove it,” Petr interrupted.
“Carey Price, Jonathan Bernier, Tuukka Rask, Corey Crawford, Petr Mrazek, and Henrik Lundqvist,” he rattled off, pointing to each goalie.
“How?”
“I know you all because I'm the one who brought you back here.”
