Beautiful Disaster

June 12th, 2016:
It was the day of the Stanley Cup final game, and the Pens has a shot at winning the cup tonight, at home, for the first time. Its been a rough morning, with Sid being gone for morning skate, all the kids being crabby, and my great mood being pregnant.

"Bennett, you need to sit down and eat your lunch or you are not going to go play with Lyla"! Sid said sitting next to him at the table trying to get Ben to just take a bite.

"Yelling at him isn't going to help Sid, he is getting over the flu, cut him some slack" I said cleaning up after our 3 o'clock lunch.

"Fine, then you can deal with him because I have a important game tonight, so I'm going to have a nap" he said slamming his hands on the table and then storming to the bedroom.

"Yeah, I always do" I mumbled under my breath.

"Dada" Lyla said running after Sid up the stairs.

"No Lyla, go with your mom" Sid said pointing to me.

"Come here Lyla bear, your dad is being a douche" I said waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs.

"Wow, real mature Catherine" he said bringing a now crying baby to me.

"It's ok Lyla Bear, your dad makes me feel sad sometimes too" I said giving Sid a glare and walking away.

Sid and I do a thing, meaning however bad we get into a fight, we apologize and get over it right away and act like it never happened. Seriously, if we didn't have this motto, we would defiantly be divorced.

"Sid, I'm sorry" I said crawling into our bed as my husband lay asleep.

"No, you did nothing wrong, I am sorry, I know I haven't been here much, and I have been a dick, It's just stress for the game tonight"

"I totally understand, it's really not your fault, I'm just grumpy, and really tired of being pregnant"

"What time is it anyway, where are the kids"? He said asked getting out if the bed.

"All asleep, they have been for the last couple hours, it's 5 o'clock so you better get your butt to the rink"

"Where have you been, you could have came up here" He said throwing his suit on.

"Just doing some decorating for the nursery, I think it is pretty well done" I said getting dressed for the game tonight.

"You need to take it easy, how many times has the doctor told you Catherine" He said doing up his tie.

"I can't take it easy! I need to be constantly moving with my elephant stomach being so fucking uncomfy"

"Lyla's up, I'll go get her before she wakes the others" Sid said walking into her nursery beside our room.

"Too late" I said throwing my head back in anger.

Game Time:
We arrived at the Canalta centre right before the puck dropped.

"There's my favourite kids" Kylie said standing in the family room.

"They haven't slept in 3 days, and I haven't gotten barely any for the last month"! I said putting the twins in their jumper at the back.

"I said I could come help you out with them, but you don't let me"! She said picking Lyla up.

"I could never rely on you to watch these monsters" I said setting Ben on the chair to watch Sid. He completely blocks out everyone when he watches his dad.

"You look so great, I wish I had the body like you after raising 3 kids" Beau Bennett's slut of the week Sarah said.

"I have 4 kids, thanks" I said rolling my eyes.

"We all know Lyla isn't you kid, technically you didn't raise her" she said smacking her gum in her mouth.

"You need to fuck off, you dont have any kids so you have no room here to judge" My friend Vero said walking up behind her.

"Yeah whatever, soon enough bitch" she said turning around.

"Thanks for that" I smiled.

"She's just a bitch, don't listen to her, plus she will be gone by this weekend" Vero said.

"I really don think I can wait"!

"Actually, I'm not going anywhere, Beau and I are having a baby" She smiled turning back around.

"Oh my god" I said as the wag's turned around and glared at her.
