Chapter 19

Sid got up there and looked for Cassie Nathalie says “ she will be back she's in the bathroom”

"Oh ok thanks” Sid says he went to watch the game with Mario Cassie came back in and saw he was sitting with Mario she would talk to him during intermission she would never bother him during the game

“You ok sweetie” Nathalie asks

"Yeah I am fine you can't tell I had been crying” she whispers


“Nope not at all you look beautiful “ Nathalie says

"Oh good thank you I don't want him to know I was upset “ Cassie says

They watched the first period together while Sid was watching with Mario, Pascal was also with them When the first period was over during intermission Sid came over to see Cassie

“Sorry I missed you but the game started and I was focusing on the game baby” Sid says

"Baby don't worry I am fine go watch I know you need to focus on it that it's important” Cassie says

“She is “ Nathalie says smiling Sid kisses her and moves back over with the guys to watch the game when it went into overtime

Cassie saw him standing up and knew the nerves were starting “He hates overtime games and is going to end up feeling like it's his fault if they don't get the win” Cassie says to Nathalie

"I know he always been hard on himself about stuff” Nathalie says

During the five minutes of overtime Sid paced the floor watching the game when time expired and it would go to a shootout you could tell he's anxiety was mounting and he was mentally thinking of who they should use for it

The shootout started and they were ahead now they just had to wait to see If Washington made this next goal it was Ovechkin watching as he started to skate. Sid gripped the railing of the box praying for him to miss for and them to get the win in. He took his shot and when Sid heard the clink of the pipe he loosen his grip on the railing, they won in overtime he was relieved

"I am heading down to see the guys in the locker room” Sid says to Cassie

“Ok Captain I will meet you in the lounge when you're done” Cassie say to him as he nods and heads out

Sid headed down to the Locker room to see the guys between the Penguins locker room and the visitors locker room he ran into Alexander Ovechkin Sid thought great this will be fun “So what did you hit your head at World Cup and knock more screws loose” Ovechkin says in a tone

“Alexander I don't want to deal with you right now” Sid says

“why not being a baby like normal” He says

“I just want to go to our locker room why don't you go to yours” Sid says

“Can't make me you're washed up always have been” Alexander says laughing

“Least I won Stanley Cups and Gold Medals Sid says smug he really couldn't stand this guy.

"You just got lucky won’t happen again trust me” Alexander says

"Keep thinking that” Sid says laughing. Alexander was pissed off more now than when they lost the game he went to hit Sid

Just as he was going to Geno had come out hearing them.

“Alex don't do it” Geno says

"Back off Evgeni” Alexander says.

"Hell no we friends but he captain and best friend you back off” Geno yells.

Kris came out as well as Pascal had been Making his way to the locker room.

“God all your little protectors have to protect you can't stick up for yourself you aren't a hockey player you're a wussy” Alexander says Geno had enough he pushes Alexander up against the wall “Sid go in room” he says

"G come on you come with us” Sid says knowing this wasn't going to end good

“Go” Geno yells

"Come on let's go into the locker room guys”
Pascal says to Kris and Sid making sure they went in Sid was pissed now beyond pissed

Geno held Alexander against the wall and said some stuff to him in Russian. He was pissed too he released Alexander and waited making sure he went back to the visitors locker room.

“What the hell was that all about “ Pascal says to Sid

“Ovechkin being normal Ovechkin and i could have handled him you know” Sid says pissed

Geno has coming back in “not when he ready to hit you don't be dumb” he says

“Geno I could have taken him” Sid says

“Oh yeah he gets a good hit in and concussion worse you were stupid to let him get going” Geno yells

"Well Geno he started it saying all kinds of crap called me washed up and screws loose ok and that I am done “ Sid says throwing his phone at his locker he was so pissed

. “Guys stop fighting please” Kris says

"He not just our captain but he also best friend don't want him hurt. I didn't want you to be hurt” Geno says in frustration.

“I just can't stand him and yeah I let him get to me ok I sorry but this week have been hell and tonight was hell not being able to play” Sid says finally slumping down at his locker

“I sorry ok didn't mean to yell just know how much of an ass he is and he would have hit you trust me” Geno says knowing Sid was struggling.

“I know he would have but I am sick of him acting like that and that I can't defend myself” Sid says

"He was doing his normal getting under people's skin and look it worked he got you pissed. He got Geno pissed and now you two are fighting with each other” Pascal says

. “We not fighting I am just telling him how dumb he was” Geno says. “

He being Geno basically” Sid says shaking his head

. “By the way what did you say to ovi” Kris asks Geno.

“For to know and only me to know” Geno says.

“God maybe I don't even want to know” Kris says.

"He lay off for tonight but next time we face him need to look out” Pascal says.

All the guys got finished showering and changing.

"You come out” Geno says to Sid.

“I don't think so I won't be good company think me and Cassie will just go home” Sid says.

“I talk Cassie you guys come then she will make sure” Geno says.

“G really I am not in the mood to go out” Sid says. “That's why need out I go see Cassie in lounge” Geno says heading that way.

“You know you're going out now” Kris says.

“Yeah and I have a feeling it might not be a good idea” Sid says.

"Why” Kris says.

“I am not a good mood and adding drinking and you know G going to do” Sid says.

“It will be fun you can show off your girl” Kris says knowing that might help.

Sid knew he couldn't say no so he just shakes his head and heads out to find Cassie and Geno.

Sorry had to make Ovi an ass for anyone that likes him. Think Geno pissed a little lol look out ha ha. Going out good idea or bad? Guess we will see..... ;)
