Chapter 29

The media all wanted time with Sid so it took him forever to get to the showers as went to his locker to finish getting dressed Geno says “we go out celebrate”

“Yeah G we are definitely going out tonight” Sid says smiling

“Good” Geno says

"Yeah you better want to go out and celebrate” Kris says to him as he came in he still wasn't playing

"Your coming out right” Sid says to him

“Oh hell yeah wouldn't miss this for the world” Kris says

“Good hopefully we all can go out” Sid says

As Pascal had come into see everyone and says “Oh we are going out and Cassie was already all for it before the game I told her we should”

"Good” Sid says smiling he couldn't wait to see her He finished dressing in his suit and headed out to find her

They were in the lounge waiting for him Cassie was so happy when she saw him she says “I am so proud of you baby you were amazing”

"Thanks baby now we go out to celebrate” Sid says

"Yeah Pascal said something about that earlier tonight” Cassie says

"Good cause I want to celebrate with you” Sid says

“I would love that” Cassie says

"Oh I forgot we all come together” Sid says to his parents

“Don't worry you two definitely go out” Troy says

“Yeah we can drop them off at your house” Mario says “

Thanks Mario” Troy says

“You sure” Sid says to Mario

“Sid yes it's on the way home we are going the same way and it's just me and Natalie so it's no trouble at all” Mario says

“See it's all good so it's all good you two go have fun” Trina says

“Ok thanks really” Sid says

"We ready to head out” Pascal asks “Yeah let's go” Sid says


They head out to a restaurant bar they go to usually when they celebrate “Baby I am so proud of you didn't even miss a beat from last year or World Cup of Hockey” Cassie says as they head to the place

“Thanks baby I feel so good after tonight I just needed to be back out there” Sid says

"I know baby I still want to go to Philly so I have one more game before you will be on the west coast and I won't be able to go to those games” Cassie says

"I love you to go I got tickets for you and my parents already cause I was hoping you still want to go” Sid says

“Definitely” Cassie says as they pull in beside Geno Geno was already out of the car and ready to celebrate

"God he thinks celebrating means getting drunk I think” Cassie says laughing

“Probably bet he pulls out the Vodka” Sid says shaking his head

"Come on guys we want to eat and starts celebrating “ Geno says

"We are ready come on” Cassie says


Pascal was with them Sid says to Pascal as he stayed back a little from Cassie and everyone else “please don't let him get me too drunk tonight ok”

“Yeah sure but figure you want to celebrate” Pascal says

“Yeah I do but I want to celebrate another way later and not with all you if you get what I mean” Sid says

“Oh yeah ok I will make sure he doesn't get you drunk and that you only have a few” Pascal says

“Thanks man I owe you” Sid says

“Yeah cause he would for sure try to get you drunk and all” Pascal says laughing

“Don't I know it man” Sid says as they came catch up to everyone

They all get seated at a table and wait to order

“I going to get drinks for all “ Geno says

“And it starts” Sid says shaking his head

"You knew he be like this he been waiting for you to get back on the ice. Then you get a hat trick had to know the vodka was coming out” Kris says laughing

"Oh I knew” Sid says

"You know he’s just going to buy the bottle right” Kris says

" Oh jeez well keep me from drinking too much so I can make sure we all get home tonight” Cassie says

"Don't worry we have plans in place to make sure not to get too drunk” Pascal whispers in her ear

“That's what you two were lagging behind to do” Cassie says

“We'll sort of just don't worry I got stuff covered” Pascal says


“Everyone has to have shot” Geno says as he brings back the the bottle

“Ok Geno but then we eat before more ok” Pascal says

“Fine but after dinner we celebrate “ Geno says

“We will” Sid says “Yeah tonight is about celebrating “ Cassie says

“Today was a great day for hockey” Pascal Says

“That it was because it proved what we all knew” Cassie says smiling

"Oh yeah “ Kris says

“Come on guys it's not that big of a deal” Sid says

“Not a big deal” Geno says

“Ok it kind of was a big deal and I would be lying if I didn't say a relief cause until I scored that first goal I was a little worried if I was going to be like I was at end of season on top of my game” Sid says

"You were amazing baby out there trust me” Cassie says as she smiles at him

"Thanks baby” Cassie says

“Love you two now together” Geno says

"We know G you say this a lot” Sid says laughing “It’s true” Geno says

“We are all happy you two finally realized what we all seen for years” Pascal says

“He right” Kris says Sid was so happy that his teammates were happy for them and was just happy to have Cassie with him

They all ordered dinner and everyone was enjoying the night so far As everyone finished dinner Geno poured more shots of vodka.

He really wanted to party Cassie had wine with dinner as he handed Cassie a shot she says “oh no more hard stuff for me someone has to stay sober to make sure you all find ways home”

“Idea good I didn't think” Geno says

“I got it covered” Cassie says laughing she knew he was going to be one they have to worry about.

Sisd had a beer when he was handed a shot he looked at Pascal for help

"One more than plan goes into effect” he whispered to him

“Ok” he said downing the shot

“We should have went to the club tonight” Geno says

“No way” Marc says

"You only want to do that so we end up dancing like asses out there” Kris says to him

"Next time you guys can do the club” Cassie says

“Promise” Geno says

“Yeah we promise” Sid says knowing that would help Pascal had went and got beers he made sure to get a few extra and a few extra shot glasses to make his plan work

" Is this going to work” Sid asks as Geno started to pour more shots

“Yeah trust me just make it seem like you have some more than what you had to drinkl Pascal whispered

“Ok but what about getting G home he going to be gone” Sid says

“I got it i am going to get him home I won't drink too much tell him I can't with medication it's all good no worries” Pascal says

“Thanks I owe you” Sid says

“Not at all “ Pascal says

“Captain needs drink” Geno says

"He already has one” Pascal says

“Good” Geno says

Now Sid just had to plan how to get him and Cassie to leave soon as much as he loved his teammates he wanted to have just time with her after tonight
