Chapter 31

The team had another home game which they won before getting ready to leave to go on the road Cassie, Troy and Trina would met Sid in Philly for the first game on the road before they headed back to Pittsburgh and the team headed to the west coast

Sid was getting ready to go meet the team to fly out

"You got everything you need” Troy asks him

“Yeah you guys all set for flying out later” Sid asks

“Yep we will met you out there for dinner” Troy says

“Good” Sid says as Cassie walks in from the kitchen with a travel mug of coffee for Sid

"Thanks baby” he says

"Welcome I am going to miss you kind of gotten used to you just being home” Cassie says

“I will miss you too but not for long we have dinner tonight together so but I know what you mean about the west coast part of the trip” Sid says kissing her

“Yeah but think we get the west coast games done and over with them” Cassie says

“Right baby I love you “ Sid says

"I love you too” Cassie says as he leaves Sid got on the plane and sat with Geno “

"You still owe me sneaking out other night” Geno says

“G sorry but I needed some time just me and Cassie “ Sid says

“Still mad you played me with drinking too” Geno says mad

“G I promise I will make it up to you ok” Sid says trying to get him not to be mad

“Promise next we go out more than one shot and beer” Geno says Looking at him

"Promise I have a few we good now” Sid asks

“I guess “ Geno says smiling

"Good cause can't have you mad at me going into Philly” Sid says

"Philly don't worry we got this” Geno says

“We better” Sid says

“We do you're hot now” Geno says

“Yeah I know G but it's still philly and at the start of a long road trip” Sid says

"True captain “ Geno says

"Yeah well we still don't have Kris in lineup” Sid says

"Yeah but hopefully during this trip I will be back in “ Kris says

“Yep” Geno says

"Yeah that be awesome to have you back “ Sid says

"I know man I am ready trust me” Kris says

"I know I know the feeling” Sid says

“Yeah first road trip for you this season” Kris says

“Glad you finally on road trip” Geno says

“That's cause you want to room with me G” Sid says laughing

"This true” Geno says

"You're just lucky G Pascal isn't on the trip” Sid says

“Good he not here “ Geno says

“How Cassie with your first road trip” Kris asks

“Think this will be hard since I been around all this time so far this season and she hasn't ever dealt with road trips since we started dating” Sid says

"She will get used to it” Kris says

"He right” Geno says

"I am not worried about it I know she will I miss her too but her and my parents will be In Philly at least” Sid says

“Really” Geno says

"Yep got tickets because thought It might be my first game back” Sid says

“She will love being there now you need get goal for her” Geno says

“I always try for goals and always they will be for her now” Sid says

“She best thing that happen to you” Geno says

“I know G trust me I know and want to do everything for her and take care of her always. She means everything to me and she my everything” Sid says

“Good” Geno says

“Yeah I am never letting her go” Sid says

“You think she the one” Marc asks

" Oh course she is” Geno says

“Yeah we have known this for a while” Kris says

“I’ve pretty much told her that she that one” Sid says

“What you did what” Marc says

“I pretty much told her she the one and promised someday she getting a ring and I will ask her to be my wife” Sid says

“Wow what happen to our captain “ Kris says

"He quit being dumb” Geno says

“G right I quit being dumb and saw what was right in front of me and how lucky I am “ Sid says

"I am still in shock”’marc says “Me too you tell Pascal about this yet?” Kris asks

“No didn't get to see him after last game wish he was on the road trip too” Sid days

"Well tell him when back in Pittsburgh” Geno says

“Yep” Sid says

They talked and laughed the rest of the plane ride to philly and once there they have a practice before heading to the hotel. Sid couldn't wait to practice on the ice he loved hockey so much then he couldn't wait to get to the hotel to see Cassie and have dinner with her he was so excited and happy
