Enemy Territory

Chapter 32

They arrived and went right to practice they knew how important this game was not only was it a start of a big road trip but this game was against one of their biggest rivals

They started out with practice all the different lines then the power play “We need Kris back he so good on the point” Phil Kessel says

“I know but right now we have to work without him we can get this just focus we figure it out” Sid says

“Captain mode” Geno says laughing

“Well yeah right now definitely time for Captain mode to figure this out” Sid says

“I know trying to lighten mood” Geno says

“I know G come on let's look at the board and figure out how we can make some better plays while Kris is out” Sid says

They head over the the board and start trying things on it and talking

"That last one might just work I like that let's try that” Rick Tocchet says to them

"It's worth a try right guys” Sid says

"Why not might work out even better” Phil says

"G you know what to do right” Sid says

“Yeah got it” Geno says

They went and tried a two minute power play get up and they kept the puck in their end to the last twenty seconds “Wow what was that they are doing you come up with that” Mike Sullivan asks Rick

“Nope Sid and Geno came up with it while trying to figure out plays and I told them let's at least try it and see especially while Kris is out” Rick says

"That was amazing practice that a few more times before the end and let's try that in the game” Mike says

"You got it” Rick says He had them run it a few more times and each time they kept it in for most of the two minutes it was amazing

Finally practice ended and they went to shower and get dressed

“Tonight dinner” Geno asks Sid

“Well Cassie and my parents should be here by time for dinner but you can come with us” Sid says

“You sure” Geno asks

“Yes G can't let me roommate eat alone and figure you don't want to be out with the whole group” Sid says

“Yeah not tonight so go with you thanks Geno says

“No problem” Sid says as they go get showered and dressed

Cassie and Sid parents made it to the hotel and got ready for dinner they knew Sid was going to meet them there for dinner

“Ready G” Sid says as he finishes up

"Yeah “ Geno says

"Good let's get going to the hotel” Sid says

“Philly hate it” Geno says as they leave to head to the hotel

“That's because of the flyers that you hate it” Sid says laughing

“And you like the flyers?” Geno asks

“Well no actually not since the first game here” Sid says laughing

"See Pittsburgh better” Geno says

“I agree with you there G” Sid says

"Good” Geno says smiling

Sid had text Cassie and told her to meet him and Geno in the lobby to go to dinner as they were starving after practice They were waiting for the guys to get there Sid saw Cassie and was so happy she was here for this game at least of the road trip

“Hey baby how was the trip out” Sid asks kissing her and taking her hand

“Great” Cassie says

“Yep no issues at all” Troy says

"Good” Sid says

"Can we go” Geno asks

“Nice to see you too Geno” Cassie says to him laughing

“Sorry just hungry big practice” Geno says

“He right we did do extra work on the power play” Sid says

“Well let’s go then” Troy says

“Hope you all are ok we picked a place we usually go when to we are out here” Sid says

"It's fave place” Geno says

"That's fine” Troy says “As long as we all have dinner tonight

"it's all good” Cassie says

“She right” Trina says smiling

They headed to the restaurant the guys has chosen and got seated and ordered they enjoy a nice dinner just talking and relaxing a little before tomorrow game
