Chapter 6

They waited awhile before leaving the box as not to deal with the questions of why he had been pulled and so late. He knew the team was just going to use that he wasn't feeling well. Cassie knew he want to stop by the locker room and see the guys and when he headed that direction she says “I be here in the lounge waiting” He just nodded

Cassie had sat down and felt someone else sit down and heard “how you holding up” Cassie smiles knowing that voice he was just who she needed to talk to he got it Pascal Dupis had been through health issues that basically forced an early retirement

“Worried about him” she says

“Well he got you and now he got me too” Pascal says Cassie gave him a look not understanding as pascal hasn't made a decision about staying in Pittsburgh full time this season yet

“I am staying we haven't figured everything out just yet but this is where I need to be” Pascal says

“What about the kids and Carole-lyn” Cassie asks

"We are working that out and figuring it all me and her talked and we agreed about this so no more worrying for you. You let others worry right now and you just take care of our boy” he says

" Trying to figure out how to best to do that right now I know he upset and feels like he letting everyone else down and not doing what he to do as captain” Cassie says

“Just you being here for him neither of you will admit it right now but you both need each other and are in love with each other someday he not just going to be the captain of this team but your other half your husband and best friend. Don't say anything right now about what I just said.” Pascal says

“Pascal” Cassie says

“Hey not a word now I am going to talk to him so you guys can leave” Pascal says leaving Cassie to think about so many things

" Go home get some rest” Pascal says putting his hand on Sid shoulder “

"Easier said than done plus she worrying and I hate her worrying” he says referring to Cassie

“She going to be ok no more worrying” Pascal says

“What did you do” Sid asks

“Told her to just take care of you and to let the worrying to others right now. Plus we don't know if there’s anything to worry about” Pascal says

“Pascal yes there is I can tell this isn't tired you know that of me and not just feeling under the weather you of all People should know that” Sid says

"I know buddy but let's at least not think the worse yet ok til we know let Cassie get you home you rest and we talk over the next few days” pascal says

“Yeah that sounds good thanks for everything man” Sid says

“No problem” pascal says as Sid when and got Cassie and they leave

He not good” Geno says

“Of course not he really worried and this could be bad” kris Latang says

"Yeah he worried of course but we need to support him cause this isn't just teammates we are like Brothers and when one is down or broken we band together” pascal says as Geno and Kris knod their head.
