I may be crazy, don't mind me

I groaned as I opened my eyes and saw the sun shining through the window. I squeezed my eyes shut and rolled so I was away from the window and instead when I opened my eyes, I was looking at Tyler, who was still sleeping.

I smiled as I watched his eyes begin to move beneath his eyelids so I knew he was going to be waking up in a few minutes.

It had been just over two months since me and Tyler got together, since the night I told him I loved him too.

I sat up, bringing the sheet up with me to cover my bare chest, just as Tyler began to slowly open his eyes. I lifted my arms above my head and stretched, looking around his bedroom.

"Morning, baby," he said through a yawn as I felt him sit up next to me.

I smiled and looked over at him, "Morning," I said softly, before letting out a small sigh, "I should head home soon," I told him quietly.

He leaned his forehead against my shoulder and groaned, "Why?"

I laughed and rested the side of my head on the top of his, "I need some more clothes," I told him, "I'll be back before you have to go to the arena though so we can drive together."

He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to him causing me to smile at his cuddly side, which was one of my all time favourite things about him.

"Don't go," he whined, "we could stay in bed all day!"

I laughed and placed a quick kiss to the top of his head before wiggling out of his grasp and sliding out of the bed and reaching for one of the oversized Dallas Stars shirts I usually slept in to cover my naked chest, since Ty and I had stayed up most of the night with each other.

"I need some clean clothes, and I need to check my e-mails on the desktop, I hate responding to things on my phone when I don't have my inventory lists handy," I told him, slipping on a pair of my underwear and then a pair of his athletic shorts.

I turned to grab my clothes and put them in a bag to take home so I could do my laundry, just to repack another bag to spend a few more nights at Tyler's place. I was always at his house. We would go to my parent’s house a couple times a week for dinners if Tyler was here for home games. I stayed at his house when he was on away games. I kept an eye on the dogs, and I loved every second of it.

"I have an idea," he said, wrapping his arms once against around my waist as he rested his chin on my shoulder, I turned my head to look at him and saw him smiling widely at me.

"That can't be a good," I teased.

He squeezed my waist and kissed the side of my neck making my sigh in happiness, "Move in with me," he murmured against my neck.

My eyes went wide; I turned my body to face him while he left his arms around my waist.

"What?" I asked him quietly.

He smiled and lowered his hands just slightly so they were resting at the top of my butt and my arms made their way around his neck as my smile grew.

"You heard me," he said with his signature cocky grin.

I laughed and shook my head, "Say it again when I'm facin you. Come on, Ty," I said jokingly, making him laugh.

"Please move in with me," he said as he began rocking the two of us slightly from side to side.

The answer came to me without much thought. I didn't need to take a few minutes to think about it, I didn't need to let myself process anything. I loved him. I wanted to be with him as much as I could. So the answer was very clear to me.

I smiled and let out a small giggle, "Okay," I said simply.

He smiled softly at me, "Yeah?"

"Of course, Tyler Seguin," I told him easily.

He laughed and leaned down to kiss me, holding me tight to him, "Let’s get you packed!" he said as he broke away from our kiss.

I laughed loudly, "Ty! You have a game tonight! I can't move in today!"

He shook his head, "When you go back to your parent’s just pack up your clothes in the luggage I got you when we went to the All Star game and then just bring that here. We can worry about your big stuff tomorrow on the off day. I just...want you here, Rae. I don't wanna wait."

I bit my lip but that couldn't stop my smile from spread across my face, "Okay," I breathed.

"Okay?" he asked as his smile grew.

I laughed and nodded, "Okay! I gotta do some packing then!"

He pulled me to him once again for a hug and sighed deeply, "I love you so much, pretty girl."

I buried my face into his neck and smiled, "I love you too, Ty."

"You sure you're ready to be stuck with me all the time now?" he asked teasingly.

I laughed and pulled away from him, "Oh please, I've been waiting for this my whole life. I'm more than ready."

"It's us, right? Me and you sticking together for the long haul, forever?" he asked as the corner of his lips tugged up in a smile.

I ran my fingers through his messy bed head and tilted my head, "Of course," I smiled, "that's the only life I see, Ty."

He smiled and pulled me back into him and held me tightly against him, and we fit perfectly against each other. Like there was nothing else that would be a better fit for either of us. We were each other’s endgame. And us taking the step of living together felt just so organic to me. Of course we would live together, us living apart just seemed so silly.

This was my life...the life I was destined for. I was forever grateful.

The first epilogue chapter for Tyler and Rae! I've got quite a few more to go, so we're not saying goodbye to these two just yet!!
