The Love to Live For

I just stand there, shocked. He chuckles and walks over to me.

"You must be Alysha, right?" He asks. I love his accent. He's so cute.

"Y..yes," I say trying to talk, but find it impossible.

"Let's get you back to school," he says as we walk to his car. He opens the passenger side door for me and I get in. He gets in the drivers seat and starts the car. I get a lot of dirty looks from surrounding fans. He;s just giving me a ride back to school.

"Good game today," I managed to say.

"Thanks. I hope Sid is okay. Can't have another concussion like he did a few years ago. But anyways, what are you studying?" he asks as we head towards the school. I can tell he is a little nervous. Not sure why he would be nervous though. He's just giving me a ride to school.

"Biology. I love science more than anything. I have always been really good at it."

"I always hated science. I hope you get to pursue your passion," he says with a smile.

"Thanks. My parents always wanted me to be a doctor for some reason, but I don't think I would survive in med school," I say and we both laugh. It's true, I wouldn't be able to survive in med school.

"I think you would do fine," he says with a small smile. "I wouldn't be able to go through med school."

"You were born to be a hockey player and you're pretty damn good at that," I say and we both laugh. We get to the college campus. I can tell Maatta doesn't want me to go and I don't want this night to end.

"Well seem how Sid is dating your friend, we can hang out more," he says as I get out of the car.

"Or text me," I say and I hand him a slip of paper with my number on it. Did I just give Olli Maatta my number? I hope he texts me.

"Uh, yeah totally," he says trying hard not to blush. I really want to see him more.

"Alright, well goodnight," I say as I shut the car door and head back up to my room. Besides Sid's injury, this night has been perfect. I can't believe that I actually got to meet Olli Maatta face-to-face. He's so adorable and supportive of what I am trying to do with my life. My phone buzzes and I look to see an unknown number.

Hey, it's Olli. Thought I would text you so you have my number.

Hey! What's up?

Just got home :) You know, we should hang out again. That five minutes we spent in the car was not long at all haha.

It was more like twenty minutes haha but sure, let's hang out again.

Coffee sound okay tomorrow morning?

I'm sorry for the really short chapter. Got a small case of writers block. I will think of something for next chapter. I should have it up within the next few days :)
