The Big News
Tristan's POV
I have some big news for Natalie that she probably won't like, but I will have to tell her later. I want the time to be right. I really love Natalie, so I think she deserves to know. However, tonight is going okay with her parents. Her mom has been super nice. Her dad and brother have been a little tough. Her brother has these rules that I have to follow and her dad seems proud that her brother is looking out for Natalie. The kid is like nine or something. I shouldn't have to listen to him, but I do intend to make Natalie happy every day. Natalie is staying tonight with Sid and I just so she can escape her parents. She isn't working at all this weekend, so we basically have the weekend to hang out. I'm not doing much of anything this weekend. I'm surprised her parents let her come back with me. I think her mom let her because I told her the news. Natalie has no idea yet and I don't know how she will take it. I just want to spend time with her. She's the best girlfriend I ever had. Looks like Sid is out with the guys, so we have the house to ourselves.
"Want to watch a movie or something?" I ask as I pull the car into the driveway.
"Sure. What kind of movies do you have?" I ask as we walk up the stairs and inside the house.
"All our movies are over there. We have a ton of them. That's all Sid and I do is watch movies," he says pointing to a book shelf with a ton of movies on it. "Have you seen Liar Liar?"
"Yeah, it's soooo funny."
"Wanna watch it?"
"Sure, why not?"
"You can go sit down and I will be over in a minute with popcorn."
I put a bag of popcorn in the microwave. I can't stop thinking about how she is going to take the news. This is just a lot. I don't want to break up with her, I really don't. She is the best girlfriend I have had in years. I already talked to her mom about it. The microwave beeped and I take the popcorn out of it. I grab some sodas from the fridge and join Natalie on the couch. She already put the movie in the PS4, now all I have to do is put it on the correct channel.

The movie ended awhile later. It was really funny, but Natalie fell asleep on my shoulder. It's been a long day for her. I pick her up slowly and move her to the bed and put her down. I try my hardest not to wake her up. I crawl into bed with her and I pass out myself. Today has been a really long day...
