Crosby woke up, still in the night, to faraway sounds of dogs barking and a man screaming. This "man" was silenced mid-scream, with now growling and distant sloppy chewing noises.

Truth be told, pets do eat their owners if their owners die near them. I read it's because they panic and try to wake their owner up and they scratch the owner as they try to wake them up, making them bleed, and then they get the instinct from the blood's scent to eat them.
Thankfully I don't have any pets.
I'm subbing tho, I wanna see Pat in this XDDD
