Once the news came back from the police department, everyone was on edge and nervous because if James was not the killer, then no one had any idea as to who it could be. Aly's job was nice enough to give her extended paid vacation time until the case was settled because she was barely eating and sleeping, and Chris was also doing everything he could to protect his wife.

Aly and Chris invited everyone over for a barbecue in hopes of distracting their minds until the police came by with news. Ryan flew back to Nashville to be with Madison's parents as they all try to cope with her loss. While Chris made some food on the grill, Aly noticed that Lori was by herself.

"Hey Lor. Is everything okay? Where's James?" Aly asked, concerned.

Lori looked at her friend with a half smile, "We decided to separate until the case is settled. He saw me sneaking the bag of ice and asked what I was doing with it. He is staying in Vegas an extra two days to clear his head."

"Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. If you need anything, let us know," Aly reassured.

Just as Chris was plating the last bit of food, the police officers came in through the back fence. Beverly perked up upon seeing them, "Officers! Did you find out anything?"

"Well, we are glad you are all here because the news we found out was shocking. While we do have evidence that James was stalking Maddy, he did NOT kill her, but we do have an idea of who did and would like to question this person," the police chief stated.

Everyone was in shock before Sean finally spoke up, "And who is that?"

The officer took a deep sigh, "The person...it's Henrik."

Chris was at a complete loss, "What!? My teammate Henrik!? How!?"

"We are still looking, but his DNA was in our system and it was a match to the scrapes under Maddy's eyes. It seemed as if they got into a scuffle and she tried to fight back before he ultimately strangled her to death. We were going to see if there was possibly any hidden evidence in his Hell's Kitchen apartment," the chief added.

Aly shook her head, "But he's been with Therese over twenty years, he loved her, AND they have two little daughters. This seems so wrong."

"We will still keep the patrol cars outside your homes for protection until we extradite him back here from Gothenburg, Sweden. Until then, you must use every safety precaution," the chief warned before leaving.

Later on in the evening, Aly told her husband and the officer outside her home that she was going down the road to get a coffee from Starbucks when in reality, she was going to Henrik's house around the corner to see if she could find anything. Therese once gave her a spare key incase she needed help with the girls.

Aly snuck inside and first checked the living room. She noticed a book sticking out of a shelf that had Maddy's name on it. Aly pulled it out and rummaged through it, gasping at all the racy photos and intimate messages between Maddy and Henrik, "My goodness. Maddy, you loved Ryan. Why did you do this?"

"Because she really was gonna leave Ryan," a voice said.

Aly turned around and dropped the book, "Henrik!? I thought you went back home!?"

Henrik stepped closer, pulling Aly into him by her hair, "Silly girl. I play a mean hide-and-seek, and well, no one ever found me. I made sure everyone thought handsome James did everything."

"Wait...where is he!? Did you kill him too?" Aly freaked.

"Of course I did. I couldn't let him get in the way anymore, so I followed him after the gym one day and WHACK, he was gone. I wonder who I should have next....oh wait, she's right here," Henrik smirked.

Aly felt tears falling from her eyes, "Please Hank, this isn't you. You are going to go to jail for the rest of your life for killing two innocent people. Don't let me be the third. I didn't do anything to you."

Henrik pulled her hair harder, "Didn't do anything!? How about all those times I wanted you and you chose Chris!? I was going to leave my wife for you, dammit!"

Aly wailed, "Let me go! I swear, I won't tell anyone!"

"Oh, don't worry, I'll make sure you won't," Henrik grinned before pulling her away into the darkness.
