Falling Fast and Breathing Hard

Clouds Are Shrouding Us In Moments Unforgettable

The following morning, I woke up to the gorgeous sight of Kris sleeping, which caused me to smile. After heading to the bathroom really quick, I came back to find that he was still asleep, so I proceeded to kiss his collar bone hoping that he would wake up. He groaned but didn't wake up until I moved my hand down his body.

"Good morning." I said.

"Good morning." he said, wiping his eyes.

"How'd you sleep?"

"Very well. The best sleep I've gotten in a while, actually."

He moved his hand down around my waist causing me to gasp.

"How did you sleep?"

"Well, what do you think?" I said, stretching.

"I'm thinking that you slept well too." he said, licking his lips.

"Hungry?"

"You could say that. Now, give me your lips already."

I happily obliged. His strong arms pulled me up, and he placed his hands firmly on my hips as I sat down in his lap.

"I like this position." I said, smirking.

"I do too. Is there anything you'd like to do while sitting up here?"' he said, raising an
eyebrow.

I let out a little laugh before I spoke again.

"I have a couple of ideas..." I whispered into his ear.

I moved my hand down south and grasped his cock, then I proceeded to rub him. He moaned and threw his head back in pleasure.

"I figured that you'd enjoy that."

"Why did you stop?"

"Because I wanted to."

"You have to be kidding me."

"Nope."

"Well, in that case..."

He began rubbing me and I moaned very loudly; then, the asshole stopped.

"...two can play at that game." he said with a smirk.

I stared him down. He sat up and kissed me hungrily; I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back with the same amount of passion. I bit down on his lip and felt him slap my ass. My lips moved down to his collar bone, and by this time, I heard Kris reaching into the nearby nightstand for a condom.

"Ready, dirty girl?"

"You bet I am!"

I slowly sat down on his cock. After moving up and down a few times at the same rate, I sped up my pace, getting into a nice groove. The adding of his hands digging into my hips again drove me into complete and utter ecstasy. At one moment, I stopped and he began pounding into me; he hardly took his eyes off me for the longest time.

"How you feeling?" he asked breathless and rough.

"I'm in ecstasy. How about- Uh! Kris!"

Many minutes later, we collapsed onto the bed out of breath.

"What time is it?" I asked once I caught my breath.

"8. Do you wanna get up or go back to sleep?" he said, looking back at his alarm clock.

"I just wanna lay here with you."

He smiled.

"I'm perfectly fine with that."

I placed my head on his chest and relaxed as he stroked my hair. I honestly can't remember the last time that I was this happy, but I'm thankful for being in complete bliss. I met the most amazing man on the planet who cares for me and loves me unconditionally despite all my flaws and my tragic and hectic past. I couldn't ask for more.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you, too." he said as he touched my back.

"That feels so nice." I yawned.

"Sounds like you're tired."

"A little bit, but I'm not entirely too sure if I want to go back to sleep."

I was indecisive too much of the time and this was no exception. The only decision I could make was the one to stay with Kris, which was an absolutely easy decision for me and maybe it was the easiest decision I have made in such a long time. I looked out the window, finally noticing that it was raining heavily outside; the sight brought a huge smile to my face. It brought back memories of growing up in Maryland.

It was gray outside and the temperature was in the mid-50's in the middle of March. Rhonda and I were ten at the time, but my birthday was in a couple of weeks while hers' wasn't for another three months. We sat down on the edge of the deck near our favorite lake not too far from where we lived, maybe about ten minutes from the same neighborhood that we lived in. Our mothers were sitting at a nearby picnic table watching over us making sure nothing unfortunate happened to us. They were close as well, having met during their first day of junior high when they happened to be in choir together. I hoped that when we were their age that Rhonda and I would still be best friends while raising our own children.

"Are you excited about your birthday?" she asked while we swung our legs over the edge.

"I'm beyond excited. I can't wait!" I squealed.

I was always a bit hyper and overly enthusiastic at times, but I did have that much calmer, introverted side to me. She laughed at me causing me to laugh as well.

"Is there anything that you want more than anything else?"

I bit my lip. I didn't know what I wanted, really. I really didn't want much at all, but I knew that Rhonda would not take it as an answer.

"I'm not sure. Oh! I know! I really want a photo album and a camera. That would be awesome!" I said with a huge smile.

"That would be awesome! Can you imagine all the pictures that you could put in there?!
You have me all excited now Athena!" she squealed like I did only a minute ago.

"I hope my mom gets those for me. I'd be happy if I just got that for my birthday."

"You'd be happier if you got so much though. You do know that, right?"

"Of course I do. Hey, what are you getting me?"

"I'm not telling you! It's a secret." she said, zipping her lips.

"Please?!" I asked giving her my pouty look.

"As much as I love you, I'm not spilling the beans. It's always worth the wait."

"I guess you're right."

"When am I not right?" she said jokingly.

We just laughed for a while until we couldn't breathe.

"Okay. I can breathe again." I said.

"Me too."

Looking up into the sky, more clouds formed and soon enough, rain came down heavily, which ruined our day outside and our lunch as well.

"Darnit." I said as we walked toward my mom's car which everyone rode in.

"Yeah, but we can still hang out indoors and have tons of fun, can't we?"

"Yeah. So much fun!"

We high-fived after we buckled our seat-belts and were on our way back home, where we would have one of the best days of our childhoods.

I felt him move slightly which startled me and I realized that I fell asleep.

"Hey, welcome back." he said with a light laugh.

I laughed too.

"How long was I asleep?"

"About a half hour or so."

"What were you dreaming about? You seemed so content." he asked.

"I was dreaming about a day two weeks before my eleventh birthday. It was a gray day and in the mid-50's and Rhonda and I were hanging out on the deck of our favorite lake that was only ten minutes from the neighborhood that we lived in. We talked about what I wanted for my birthday before more clouds came rolling in and rain started to come down, so we headed into the car with our mothers to spend the rest of the day hanging out at her house."

"Sounds like it was a great dream."

"It was. It was an even more unforgettable childhood memory. I can gladly thank the rain for bringing back the memory."

"Mind if I ask what you wanted?"

"I wanted a camera and a photo album." I said with a smile.

"Did you get what you wanted?"

"I did. My mom bought both. You should've seen the look on my face. I couldn't have been happier than I was at that very moment. They're somewhere around here; I'll have to show you all of the pictures we took."

"I'm looking forward to that."

"Me too. Hey, can we sit outback and enjoy the rain today?"

"We can do whatever you want to do."

We both sat up and I gave him a short kiss.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Existing. Being here with me and being the most wonderful man in the world."

"I don't know if I'm the most wonderful man in the world, though." he said, looking straight into my eyes.

"You are in my eyes."

He blushed slightly.

"I have to thank you for existing as well and being here with me and being the most unbelievably beautiful and outstanding woman to ever exist."

I got teary-eyed.

"Don't make me cry. You love me too much."

"How is that even possible?"

I shrugged. He simply kissed my forehead and wrapped an arm tightly around my waist.

"This is perfect. I couldn't ask for more." I said.

"Neither could I, Athena. Neither could I."

Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
That someday it would bring me back to you
That someday it would bring me back to you

That may be all I need
In darkness, she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

Fingers trace your every outline
Paint a picture with my hands
Back and forth, we sway like branches in a storm
Change the weather still together when it ends

That may be all I need
In darkness, she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

But things just get so crazy
Living life gets hard to do
Sunday morning rain is falling and I’m calling out to you
Singing someday, it’ll bring me back to you
Find a way to bring myself back home to you

And you may not know
That may be all I need
In darkness, she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
Driving slow
There's a flower in your hair
There's a flower in your hair
