I got changed very quickly before running out to Seabrook's car. I climbed into the backseat wearing a pair of jeans, a Blackhawks' sweatshirt, and a pair of sneakers.

"About time!" Seabrook said sarcastically before he stepped on the gas while I was getting buckled.

"AGH! Dude stop, you're gonna kill me!" I shouted as I was flung backwards. I heard a snicker from Corey, which didn't help on my part.
"Corey, it's not funny...." I said in a pretend whiny voice.
Seabs smirked in the mirror at me, and I couldn't help but smile.


"She's fine," Seabs said as our car merged into the fast-moving traffic on the highway. I leaned back in my seat and looked out my window while Corey flipped through the radio stations and Seabrook focused on getting us to Sixflags in one piece.

My mind drifted with nothing else to do, and I started to think...

"I've been thinking...."

"That's a dangerous thing to do," Seabs said distractedly, and I rolled my eyes.

"As I was saying.... Would there be any reason for someone to know if you were going to Sharp's Christmas Party?"

The car was silent for a moment before Corey said, "Not unless either

1. They like you,

or

2. They were going to pull a prank on you.

Why'd you ask?"


"Oh.... no reason. Just wondering...." I said absentmindedly, avoiding Corey's slightly worried gaze in the mirror.

Okay, I know this story has been moving very fast and that it's a crappy story, but I haven't had much time to write. It's 1:45 AM where I'm at and the last time I posted it was a quick ending to an unfinished chapter before I went to the airport. I'll try and work on the story more, but I can't be sure when the next time I'll update will be.
