SUPER IMPORTANT PSA FOR THOSE WHO POST ART ONLINE!!!

There is a website https://www.aliexpress.com/ that holds a manufacturer that took (and is most likely still taking) edits from Tumblr and possibly other websites without permission and selling them on their site.

This link here includes my wallpaper from Tumblr up for sale as an iPhone case.

I see other Tumblr edits I recognize up for sale as well.

If you think your edit might be up for sale without your permission, search for the hockey player’s name and “iPhone” (that how I found this). If your edit is up for sale without your permission, you are able to contact the manufacturer to take it down. I did that just right now, so hopefully, they comply with my request.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you have edits up on Tumblr or on the internet in general, WATERMARK THEM WELL. PUT IT ACROSS THE EDIT IF YOU NEED TO. I didn’t watermark mine correctly and they easily covered it.

GREAT NEWS!

I contacted the company behind this yesterday through the messaging feature of the website. I told them to take down the product immediately or else I will take legal action. This morning, they took it down. It’s gone!

Thank goodness there is a way to solve this easily. But that lesson is definitely learned!
