The perfect storm

Jon's POV
I have been laying on my bed for a minute or two when I hear Kayla screaming and inning through the for of our apartment.
The door opens and I manage to say "Kay Wat.." Before she trips over my suitcase and hits her head on my dresser on her way down to the ground
She lays there silent for a second then I hear a huge hysterical laugh come out from under her. The kind of laugh that comes straight from your heart. I start laughing too and kneel by her to see if she's okay.
before I know it she's pulling me down with her and we are both laughing on the floor of my bedroom until tears are rolling out of both of our eyes.
"Holy shit, you know how to make an entrance" I say and start to sit-up
" Stop Jon I'm gonna pee" she gets out between laughs and falls into my lap
we stay like that for fifteen minutes until she gets up walks to the kitchen and asks if I'm hungry I say yes and she starts making grilled cheeses. She always makes the best food, even if it is just a grilled cheese sandwich she makes it perfect.
After we eat she starts putting everything away. She's washing her hands at the sink, I grab her wait turn her around and kiss her. Not a friendly kind of kiss, a kiss that means something. And we both know exactly what it means. We kiss for a long time and she eventually pulls away.
She looks at me with a confused look in her blue eyes. I try to grab her back because we are obviously not done yet, and she backs away and runs into her room. All she says is "I can't do this"
I run after her. I open her door she is face down on her bed. Sobbing.
"Kay what did I do"
She sits up and looks at me
"Everytime this happens I end up getting hurt because you will always have some easy road fuck, or puck bunny to fall back on when I'm not there" she says still sobbing
"That was then. I have tried to replace you because if you ever stopped loving me I wouldn't know what to do with myself" I say
she lays back down
"Kay I love you more and more every day we spend together. You're the only person that I can laugh for hours with and the jokes are still funny, you were my first everything. I don't want there to be anymore firsts with anyone but you"
she's still laying there. She's not crying anymore.
"I just need to drive" she says and grabs her jacket and leaves
