I Trust you

*April's POV*

The locker room was silent the next day as I walked in.

I sighed stopping at the doorway to my office which was located in the locker room.

"Guys, can we please not do this." I said turning around and sure enough all eyes were on me.

"If your going to say something please just say it, anything is better than this...silence." I said as they all continued to stare at me.

"It's just...weird I guess." Jake said speaking up.

"Yeah I mean that's the kind of thing you hear about right. we just never think it's going to happen....especially not to one of us." Matt said looking at me with sad eyes.

"Well It happened." I said finally "It happened and there's nothing we can do about it."

"Have they uh found him yet?" Dion asked from where he was seated in his stall beside Orrsy.

I opened my mouth to answer but my brother beat me to it.

"They're still looking, there were officers at both our places waiting to see if he'd actually have the nerve to come back but he hasn't."

"This is so messed up." Lups said curling his hands into fists.

"It's okay." I said walking over to him hugging him tightly.

He was tense at first still clearly angry but he relaxed hugging me back.

"No it's not." He said letting go of me and cupping my face in his hands. "He hurt you April and that's not okay your family." He said wiping away a the tear that had escaped my eye. "And we take care of our own."

Suddenly I heard the sound of shuffling feet and suddenly we were bombarded with bodies pulling us into a group hug.

"Thank you." I whispered sniffling and wiping away the remaining tears. "I love you boys." I said pulling them in for another hug, but a brief one this time.

Later that day after practice I waited for James by his car, so we could go home.

After I had returned from the hospital yesterday Tyler, Phil and I had made arrangements of where we would stay until we found new places to move into.

"You alright honey?" Phil asked as I plopped down on the couch beside him.

"Yeah, just tired." I sighed resting my head against his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me.

"So what's the plan?" James asked noting the suitcase I had dragged into the living room.

"We have to find somewhere to stay until I can find a place for us to move into." Ty explained getting us each a water bottle from the fridge.

"We?" Phil asked grabbing the water bottle his boyfriend tossed to him.

"None of us are safe here Phil." I said before taking a sip of water from my own bottle.

"You and I have to find somewhere to stay, while we find April a place to crash."

"April can stay with me." James offered as my eyes darted to him giving him a confused look. "I mean if you guys are okay with that." He said quickly.

"I'm cool with that." Ty shrugged turning to me "You okay with that sis?"

"Sure." I said too tired to argue.

"I guess I could give Lups a call and see if we can crash at his place." Phil announced shifting slighty so he could pull his phone out of his pocket before removing his arm from my shoulder giving me a quick kiss on the forehead as he walked into my bedroom closing the door behind him.

"Allright, well are we all set?" James asked getting up and stretching before putting on his jacket and beanie.

"You got everything you need?" Ty asked giving me my suitcase.

"Yeah I got what I need for tonight." I said grabbing my purse and Laptop. "We can come back for the rest tommorow."

"Lups said he's good with us crashing over at his place till we get something figured out." Phil said coming out of my room.

"Looks like were good to go then." Ty said lacing his fingers with Phil's as we all made our way out of my now old apartment.

"We ready to go?" A voice said as I turned my head to see James making his way over.

"It's about time." I smiled getting into the car as he unlocked the doors.

"Sorry." He apologized putting the key into the ignition.

"I got held up doing drills." He explained. "Carlyle seems to think that my "foot speed" isn't up to par."

"What is he talking about your one of the fastest guys on the team!"

"Apperently he doesn't think so." He said backing up and speeding out of the parking lot.

"Yeah well he's wrong."

"Thanks." He smirked as I rolled my eyes patting his shoulder.

"Don't flatter yourself." I warned as we both laughed.

Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to update, not a lot happens in this chapter but I just wanted you to kinda get a sense of how close april really is to the boys.
