After living out her dreams to study medicine at Oxford University and finding unlikely love in London, April Bozak is coming back. Coming back home that is, after spending four years in Britain she decides to come back home to Toronto to settle down with her long time boyfriend Logan and reunite with her brother and her friends. But after she meets a certain #21 Toronto Maple Leaf forward something happens, Something that is going to change her life forever.
