*JVR's POV*
“Bozie you know I love you but really you got us a place right next to you?” April said to her brother as we made our way up to the 4th floor.

“I have a feeling your going to change your mind about the place once you see it.” Tyler replied crossing his arms across his chest. I chuckled quietly I've never seen Bozie and his sister together before but from what I've seen so far he's very protective of her.

“So James how are you enjoying playing in Toronto?” April asked looking over at me and smiling God that beautiful smile.

“Oh it's been great I mean the fans are amazing and this city loves their team” I replied just as the elevator opened and we stepped out.

Tyler lead the way and we all helped April get her things into the apartment as she wandered off (I assumed) to take a look around at her new place.

“OH MY GOD!” We all heard her shout from the other side of the apartment.

“What the hell” I said making my way over with the others close behind, I stopped when I saw April who looked unharmed standing in front of an open door.

“April what happened?” Logan said making his way over to her and cupping her face in his hands and looking to see if she was okay.

I'm not sure what it was but I had a weird feeling seeing him touch her, something about it just didn't feel right.

“I think she found it” Bozie said.

“Found what?” I asked him confused.

In response he nudged his head towards the door so I made my way over beside April and saw what he was talking about.

It was a large room with a grand piano, electric keyboard, large drum set and several guitars ranging from acoustic to electric and by the look on her face April loved it.

“Oh my god your the best brother ever!” She exclaimed hugging her brother.

“I know” Ty laughed hugging his sister.

We watched as she made her way over to the grand piano and sat down running her fingers lightly across the keys.

She started playing and I instantly recognized the melody as “Goodbye Apathy” By One Republic it was one of my favourite songs.

It took a couple seconds for me to regain my composure, I had gotten lost in the song.

“That was amazing” I blurt out.

“Thank you” She said a small smile forming around her lips making me go weak at the knees.

“Alright were going to let you guys get settled in, if you need anything-” Tyler started but was cut off by April.

“Yeah we know, your right next door how could we forget” She said causing Phil to chuckle.

“Bye guys” April said to her brother and Phil as we made our way out of the apartment.

“It was nice to meet you James” She said putting her hand on my arm catching me off guard.

“Yeah I-It was nice meeting you to” I stuttered mentally cursing myself.

I got the same feeling I had earlier when I noticed Logan slide an arm around her waist kissing her cheek as I watched the door close behind me.

*April's POV*
“Logan we have to start unpacking” I laugh as I struggle to get free of his grip.

“That can wait” He said spinning me around so I was facing him before placing his lips on mine.

“You seem happy” He says when we pull away.

“I'm back home” I say smiling.

“Do you remember the day we met?” He asks pressing his forehead against mine.

“I'll never forget” I smile as the memory of the day Logan and I met replayed in my head.

*Flashback*

I found myself wandering the halls aimlessly looking for my first class hoping to god that I wouldn't be late on my first day.

“Need any help?” I jumped when I heard the unexpected voice and turned to see who had come to my rescue.

“Do I ever” I sighed as I mad my way over to a man no older than me with dark brown hair and striking blue eyes. I handed him my schedule and he took a minute to look it over.

“Hey looks like we have all our classes together.” He said flashing a dazzling smile.“Come one I'll walk you to the class.”

“Thanks so much” I said walking alongside him.

“Don't mention it, what's your name?” He asked with a heavy accent.

“April” I replied

“Nice to meet you April, my name is Logan.” He said extending his hand for me to shake I gave his hand a firm grip which seemed to surprise him.

“Strong grip” He commented. “Not like most girls”

“Maybe I'm not like most girls”

“I don't think you are” He said making eye contact.

“Is that a bad thing?”

“No not at all, I'd say it's quite refreshing” He replied never breaking eye contact.

*End Flashback*

“Now” I said putting a hand on his cheek “Let's get unpacking.”

*JVR's POV*
I lay in bed with one thing on my mind.

April. I didn't know what it was about her, that bubbly personality, the smile that made me go weak at the knees, the way my skin reacted to her touch. I just didn't have an answer, but something was different about her and I was determined to find out what that was.

My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang, I took it off the nightstand and noticed it was Bozie.

“Hey what's up” I said answering the phone

“Dude turn on the TV.”

“Why?” I asked

“Just do it!”

“Fine” I said getting out of my room and trudging into the living room grabbing the remote and turning the TV on, I changed the channel to TSN and I nearly dropped the phone when I read what was on the screen.

“Holy crap” I breathed into the phone.

“I know dude, we can play again!”

“Oh my god finally!” I screamed.

“Dude you gotta come over were going to celebrate!”

“Alright I'll be there in fifteen” I said hanging up.

I ran back into my room changing into a pair of jeans and white t-shirt before heading out the door, all the while praying that I would get to see April again.
