Chapter Sixty Seven

"You keep staring at it, you're going to burn a hole in it," Sidney said as he walked into the bedroom and wrapped his arms around me and pressed his lips onto mine, "Good morning."

"Good morning," I replied as I looked up towards Sidney and smiled.

"I love you so much," he said as he grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles, "Future Mrs. Crosby."

"God, do you know how many of your fan girls probably hate me now," I laughed and smirked and kissed the side of my head, pulling me down onto the bed and placing his hands on my waist.

"Who cares," he said and I climbed on top of him and laid down on his chest, crossing my arms and staring at the beautiful diamond ring on my left hand, "Have you and the girls started anything yet?"

"I want you to help me," I said and he looked away and groaned, "Come on Sid!"

"I told you that you can pick everything, I'll just pay for it."

"No baby, I want you to help, put your thoughts in."

"I trust your opinion."

"So you wouldn't mind if everything was pink?" I asked with a smirk on my face and he snapped his head back towards me.

"Now, I wouldn't go with that color-"

"Nope, you said that you trust my opinion!" I teased and he sighed.

"All right, all right, what do we have to do?"

"Register at stores, invitations, guest list-"

"Shouldn't the guest list be first?" Sidney teased and stuck my tongue out at him and then kissed his neck.

"Small or big?"

"Up to you."

"Circle tables at the reception or square?"

"Up to you."

"Church or outside?"

"Up to you"

I took at deep breath and plumped my head onto his chest, "Color schemes?"

"Up to you-"

"Sidney Crosby, help me out here! I want to do this together!" I said and he laughed and then grabbed my hands and laced his fingers with them.

"Baby, it's only been two weeks, we have plenty of time! We haven't even chosen a date yet!"

"There! There's something that you can help with! Chose a freakin' date!" I said and he laughed and then sat up and pressed his back against the headboards, pulling my closer to him and then resting his hands on his thighs, "Do you want to have the wedding here or in Nova Scotia?"

"Up to-"

"You finish that sentence and so help me God I will punch you!" I said and he laughed and then wrapped his arms around me.

"Gettin' a little violent here," Sidney teased and we heard the door open behind us, "My man!"

"Daddy!"

"Hey little man, I'm gunna make your mom happy here and par take in the wedding plans," Sidney said as Josh jumped onto the bed and sat next to us.

"How?" I laughed and Sidney kissed my cheek.

"Hey buddy, how would you like to be my best man?" Sidney asked Josh and I smiled and ran my hand through Sidney's hair.

"What's that?" Josh asked and I smiled brightly.

"It's where you stand right next to me at the wedding and watch as your mom walks down the asile," he explained and Josh smiled and nodded his head.

"Definitely! I'm your best man!" he said and then stood up and jumped off the bed, "Sasha! I'm the best man!"

"Aww!" I laughed and then looked back towards Sidney who was smiling. I pressed my lips against his and then felt his hands on my thighs move closer to my butt, "You know he's not going to be able to be a real best man."

"Geno's gunna be taking care of the best man duties, but I already talked to him about Josh being the actual best man," he said and I smirked and nodded my had.

"So you've been planning this for a while?"

"Yes ma'am!" Sidney said and I laughed and shook my head.

"No strippers!"

"Not even you?"

"I ya- I ya- uh- wow, I was not prepared for that one," I said and Sidney laughed and then ran his hands under my shirt and pressed his lips against mine.

We pulled apart when I heard Josh screaming and I jumped up and Sidney and I were running down the stairs.

"Abort mission! Abort mission! Too many girls!" Josh yelled as he charged passed us going up the stairs and ran into his room, slamming the door closed.

"Uh," I looked back towards Sidney who shrugged his shoulders and shook his head.

"Hello?!" we heard and then I smiled when my sister; Andrea, Allie, Vero, Kris' girlfriend; Catherine, and then Sidney's sister and mother stood in my hallway with giant smiles on their faces.

"I think we scared Josh away," Catherine said and I laughed and nodded my head.

"What's going on?" Sidney asked and then I heard some yelling in the living room, "Guys here?"

"You get to help plan the wedding Sid! The guys are going to help you!" Vero said and I laughed.

"Fat chance that's going to happen," I laughed looked back towards the girls, "If the boys are here, they'll most likely play videogames all day."

"I'll be sure to talk about the wedding too!" Sidney said as he walked passed me, kissed my cheek, and then headed the rest of the way down the stairs, passed the girls, and into the living room.

I heard the guys yell Sidney's name and then smirked and shook my heads, "Knew it."

"So you ready Jewels?" Andrea said and I looked at her confused.

"What?"

"We're going dress shopping!" Trina, Sidney's mom, squealed.

I smiled and then nodded my head and walked down the stairs. I grabbed my coat and purse, said bye to Josh, who finally came back down and ran into the room where all the guys were. I walked into the living room with the girls behind me to see that Marc, Geno, Tyler and Kris were there.

"Hey guys!" i called, but none of them turned around from playing their video game, "Guys!"

"Rude much," Taylor said and I nodded my head and then walked over towards the TV.

"HEY!" the guys yelled as I turned the TV off, "Jewels! GAME!"

"You play hockey for a living, you don't need to play yourselves on a videogame!" I laughed and then shook my head, "All of you!" I said as I pointed to each one of the boys, "You especially!" I pointed towards Sidney, "You get your guest list, you get a date-"

"You can be my date!" Sidney said and the guys groaned and threw pillows at him.

"So corny man!" Kris yelled and we all laughed.

"A wedding date, Sid!" I laughed and walked over towards him and kissed his cheek, "List, date and location! We'll do the rest!"

"Location, location, location!" Marc teased and I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him, "Ow!"

"Enjoy your game," I said as I walked out of the living room.

"What about the TV?!"

"Get your ass up and turn it on!" I yelled and the girls laughed as we walked out of the house and piled into two cars to get some shopping and planning started.
