Chapter Seventy Three

-Sidney-

I pulled into the driveway after going to the gas station to get two cartons of chocolate ice cream. When I walked into the house, I heard Julie talking to someone. I didn’t say anything, but when I walked into the kitchen, I saw Julie sitting on the counter with Josh sitting next to her. I smiled as I leaned against the wall and watched as Julie calmly talk Josh that he’s not to run away from school again, and just to ask her if he wanted to see Conner.

“Ice cream?” I said as I they looked over towards me. I smiled as I held up the bag and saw Julie smirk and Josh’s face light up, “It’s fresh from the cow.”

“No it’s not!” Josh laughed and I smiled and walked over, “Daddy’s silly!”

‘…Well, it’s a step…’ I said as I ruffled Josh’s hair and set the ice cream on the counter.

“I say it’s a movie and ice cream night,” Julie said and Josh nodded his head.

I smiled and then went into the cabinets to grab bowls as Julie hopped off of the counter and grabbed some spoons.

“Whipped cream!” Josh said as he walked over towards the fridge and opened it to get the whipped cream.

Julie scooped the ice cream into the bowl and then handed it to Josh. I looked over towards him to see that he was having a hard time taking the lid off. I smirked and picked Josh up and set him on the counter, taking the can and seeing that it was a new one.

“You have to take the thingy off,” I said and Josh smiled and nodded his head. I popped the lid off and then shook the can and sprayed some whipped cream onto his ice cream, “Here, open your mouth.”

“What?” Josh asked confused and I smiled.

“Open,” I said and Josh opened his mouth. I smiled and then sprayed some of the whipped cream into his mouth and he laughed and caught some when I put too much.

“Your turn!” Josh yelled as he finished the whipped cream and I laughed and shook my head, “No come on, daddy!”

“All right, just a little,” I said and Josh stood on the counter and I looked up, “You got taller!”

“Daddy! You’re so silly!”

“Be careful, Josh,” Julie said and I could hear the humor in her voice.

Josh shook the can and then held it upside down, “Open up!” Josh said and I laughed and opened my mouth.

“Oooooh,” I said and laughed because Josh had missed my mouth and got just about my entire face. Josh and Julie were laughed and I walked over towards the sink and wiped my face, smirking and nodding my head, “Ok, you play that game,” I laughed and then turned to Josh and grabbed him.

He screamed and laughed, “Eat cream!” Josh yelled and then started to spray me with the whipped cream.

“Oh god!” Julie laughed as she watched the mess we were making.

-Julie-

“You’re covered in whipped cream,” I laughed as I looked at Sidney and Josh, “You need a bath before you get all sticky,” I said and looked at Josh to see him shaking the can. He pointed it at Sidney pushed the tap down only to see nothing coming out, “Josh,” I giggled, “It’s empty.”

“Aw,” he whined and I smirked and shook my head. He looked up at me and smirked, “Mommy! Hug!”

“No, no, no, you stay away!”

“Come on ‘mom’,” Sidney said as he looked at Josh.

“No, stay away!” I laughed and then ran outside because they were coming at me.

I screamed as I ran outside and then smirked when I saw the hose and ran towards it, figuring that this could be their showed.

“Abort mission!” Josh yelled and I smirked and sprayed them with a hose, “NO!!!” he yelled dramatically and fell to the ground.

“Time out! Time out!” Sidney yelled and I saw his hand reach into his pocket, he pulled out his cell phone and wallet and threw them onto the porch and then ran back over, “Time in!”

I smirked and then sprayed him with the hose and he ran over towards me. My eyes widened and I squealed as he hugged me with his soaking wet clothes.

“Get her!” Josh yelled and he ran over towards us, because Sidney pushed me to the ground and climbed on top of me, smiling down at me.

Josh jumped on top of Sidney’s back and I laughed and shook my head, ‘…My boys…’

We finally got up and Sidney put the hose away, I laughed because we were all soaking wet. We walked into the house and Sidney and Josh started to strip down to their boxers in the kitchen. Sidney then walked into t he guest bedroom that was off the kitchen and brought back some towels. I kicked my pants off after I wrapped the towel around me and then threw it where Josh and Sidney had their wet clothes. I turned my back towards the boys and took my shirt off and then my bra and underwear, digging them under the pile.

“Sid, did you grab your wallet and phone?” I asked as Sidney wrapped the towel around his waist and kicked off his boxers.

“Oh, no I didn’t,” he said and I smirked and shook my head.

“I’ll get it,” I said and then walked out the door tightening my grip of the towel because it was the only thing I had on. I walked over towards the corner of the porch where Sidney had laid his stuff and bent down to grab it. When I was walking back towards the door I saw Sidney’s neighbor walking up his driveway, ‘…Great…’ I thought and then gave an awkward smile as his neighbor stared at me, “Nice night,” I said and then waved and walked into the house, “Really?”

“What?” Sidney asked as I walked back into the house.

“Your neighbor saw me and all I could say was ‘nice night’,” I said and he laughed and shook his head, “Will you get a bath stared for Josh? I’ll work on the clothes.”

“Yeah sure,” he said and I looked to see that Josh wasn’t in the kitchen.

“Where is he?”

“Living room,” Sidney said and I smirked, “Ice cream.”

“Yeah, he never got a chance to eat it,” I laughed and shook my head.

I laughed and then headed for the stairs so that I could change into my pajamas. I then walked into Josh’s room and picked some more pajamas out because his other ones were wet, and laid them on the bed, ready for when he came out of his bath. I then walked downstairs and saw that Josh and Sidney were sitting on the Couch and watching the older Batman movies.

“Don’t forget the bath!” I called and then heard Josh whine.

I walked into the kitchen and picked up the pile of wet clothes and walked over towards the laundry room, just off of the dining room and threw the clothes into the washer, because who knows what had gotten onto them. I then walked out into the kitchen and decided that I was finally going to have my bowl of ice cream.

I scooped two scoops into the bowl and then threw the scooper into the sink. But as I looked at my bowl, I wanted more, I laughed at myself as I grabbed my spoon and then took some ice cream from the carton and stuck it in my mouth.

“I saw that,” Sidney said, coming up behind me, scaring me.

“Shut up,” I said, my mouth full of ice cream when he started to laugh at me.

I swallowed the ice cream and felt Sidney turn me around and push me up against the counter. His chest was bare and the towel was still tied around his waist. Sidney’s hands were on my hips and he pressed his lips against mine, pulling my body into his. I dropped my spoon and wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers into his hair. I groaned when he placed his hands on my butt and squeezed.

Sidney pulled away and smirked towards me, “You taste like chocolate,” he laughed and I giggled and nudged my head towards the chocolate ice cream I just ate. Sidney kissed my cheek and then backed up, “I’ll get the bath started.”

“All right, thanks,” I said and then turned back towards the ice cream and put the carton away, and then picked my bowl up, “So in love with you right now,” I smiled at the spoon full of ice cream and then put it in my mouth.

“Stop talking to your food!” Sidney yelled from the hallway and I laughed and shook my head.

“Mind your business! I’m having ‘me’ time!”

“Are you cheating on me with the ice cream?” Sidney laughed and I smirked and nodded my head, “Damn Jewels.”

“Don’t you have some sort of bath to get to?” I laughed and Sidney shook his head and walked out of the kitchen.

“I see how it is,” he yelled and I smirked when I saw him and Josh walking up the stairs.

I rolled my eyes and then shook my head, a smirk on my face, ‘…My boys…’
