Chapter Seventy Four

"So you're really all right with this?" Sidney asked as he stared at me across from the bedroom.

I smiled towards him and nodded my head, "Why wouldn't I be Sid? I love you, Josh loves you, why wouldn't I agree to this?"

I thought it was cute that Sidney was nervous about asking me whether it would be all right that once we were married, he could adopt Josh.

"I wanna ask Josh too," he said and I smiled and nodded my head.

"Josh adores you Sid, he won't even hesitate, just like I didn't hesitate," I said as I stood up from the bed and walked over towards Sidney, placing my hands on his chest and staring up at him, "There's nothing to be nervous about."

"Julie," he said as he pressed his lips against mine and wrapped his arms around my waist, "I love you."

"I love you too," I smiled and then pulled away to walk back to bed because it was late and I was tired, but Sidney grabbed my hand and I turned around to see him smiling towards me, "What?"

Sidney walked up to me, placed his hands onto my waist and then moved them to my thighs. I smirked and placed my hands on his shoulders giggling when he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him and pressed my lips back onto his.

'...So much for sleeping tonight...'

"Man Sid, did you get any sleep last night?" James laughed and I shoved his shoulder as I walked onto the airplane.

"Not really," I smirked.

"You talk to Julie?" he asked as we sat in our seats and I smirked and nodded my head.

"I'm gunna ask Josh when I get back, he was still sleeping when I left this morning," I said and James smirked.

"Good for you man!"

I was going to be away for three days, we had a game against the Rangers tonight and then we traveled up to Buffalo, having a game against the Sabres tomorrow night. We'll be coming home Saturday afternoon.

"I feel bad that I'm leaving Julie and Josh alone though," I said as I looked at some of the guys.

"Why?"

"My parents and sister are coming today," I said and the guys laughed.

"Man, they're be fine. You're dad will probably take Josh while your mom and sister work on some wedding crap," Marc said and I laughed and nodded my head.

"How is the wedding planning going?" Pascal asked as he peeked his head up in-between our seats.

"Good, too much girly crap for me," I said and he smirked and nodded his head.

"Yeah, Carol wanted me to help out a lot too, I just pretended like I cared," he said and I heard Marc snort.

"At least you pretended, I let her do all the work and told her just to give me the bill," Marc said and I pointed towards him.

"That's what I wanted! But she's like 'No you have to help!" I laughed and the guys smirked and shook their heads.

"Did you do everything that you were told to do?" Geno asked and I nodded my head.

"My guest list is finished, I think like seventy five people," I said and then thought about it to be sure, "Yeah, friends and family, then she had my pick the date, told her July 9th, I just picked a date."

"What about location?" Kris asked.

"Done!" I smirked, "She won't know until the day before the wedding."

"That's gunna be hard, everyone has to keep it a secret from her?" Pascal asked and I nodded my head.

"I called her parents up a while ago, most of them can't afford to fly out here, I know how much Julie loves Texas, so, her mom found a church, we're gunna have it in Texas."

"Nice, isn't that where she's from?" Kris asked and I nodded my head, "How are you gunna get her there without making it obvious?"

"I don't know, I haven't figured that out yet," I said and the guys shook their heads, "I'll figure something out."

"I don't know about this Sid, a lot of these girls have big mouths, I mean, my wife, Kris' girlfriend, Marc's wife, your sister, that's a lot of pressure on them," Pascal said and I smirked and nodded my head.

"Keep their mouths shut though, it's bad enough I have to trust that my mom and sister won't say anything to her now! I even have to do the invitations just to make sure that she doesn't find out, which reminds me, you're helping!"

"What?! No way!" they whined and I smirked and nodded my head.

"I don't have them ready yet! The wedding is in less than four months, I need to get them done. Come on, with all of us, it won't take more than an hour!"

"You so owe us!" Kris whined and I nodded my head.

"So how many people are going to be at the wedding?" Trina, Sidney's mom asked as she, Sidney's sister, Taylor and I met up with some of the other girls and tried on our dresses for the wedding.

"Um, I think a little over a hundred, he's got about seventy and I have about thirty," I said and they looked at me.

"Why so little?" Taylor asked.

"Most of my family won't be able to make it, they can't make the trip," I sighed and Trina rubbed her back.

"Well where is it?" Taylor asked.

"I think we're going to keep it in Pittsburgh, it'll just be easier," I said and Trina nodded her head, "I think Sidney picked out the church, I don't know though, he said he was going to take care of that stuff, I just have to work on the 'girly' stuff," I laughed a little.

We met up with Vero, Allie, Catherine, and my sister who flew in this morning and I was pleasantly surprised to see my mom too, at the dress shop.

"I can't believe you're here!" I squealed as I ran over towards my mom and hugged her.

"I know, I'm so happy to be here for you!"

I smiled and then turned back towards everyone, "I don't know if you met Trina and Taylor, mom, but this is Sidney's mother and sister."

"No, I don't believe that we have met, so nice to meet you," my mom smiled brightly as she shook hands with Trina and Taylor.

After we talked for a few minutes, we walked into the shop to be immediately greeted by nicely dressed smiling women.

"Ah, Ms. McHale, you're dress came in last night!" the one smiled and nodded my head, "Right this way."

"We'll wait here," Vero said and I nodded my head.

"Are we doing anything else today?" the woman asked and I nodded my head.

"I need to pick out my bridesmaids' dresses," I said as I walked into the fitting room.

"All right, I'll pick some out while you're trying your dress on."

"Thank you!" I smiled and she closed the door.

I undressed into my underwear, happy that decided to wear my white strapless bra. There was a knock on the door and I opened it and saw my dress being handed to me. I thanked the girl and started to work my way into putting it on.

When I had it on, I walked out of the room and walked over towards the woman who was going to zip me up.

"There looks to be needing a little more alterations, but it looks beautiful!"

"Thank you," I smiled and then walked out towards the girls and saw then gasp.

"Oh baby, you look beautiful!" mom said as she walked over towards me and hugged me, "I'm gunna cry."

"No don't cry! You're gunna make me cry!" I laughed and then smiled towards everyone else as they came over towards me and hugged me.

"How are you going to have your hair?" Trina asked and I shook my head, "Well, we'll look through some books for some ideas."

"All right."
