Chapter Seventy Six

-Julie-

"So the dress is ready, the bridesmaids dresses are ready, the guys tuxes are ready, the decorations are in, the place for the reception is set and the church is reserve; although, I Sidney hasn't told me where they are yet," I said as I sat deep into the couch and listed off everything to Vero, Catherine and Allie.

"Have you picked your rings yet?" Vero asked and I gasped and widened my eyes.

"How did I forget that?!" I yelled and then grabbed my phone and texted Sidney, who was away in Canada for a game against the Jets.

"Relax, you have plenty of time," Catherina laughed at my panicking.

"The wedding is in two months!"

"Julie, relax, your invitations are out, your RSVPs are coming in, everything will be all right. You're wedding planner said everything is taken care of and will be fine," Vero said and I laughed because she was the official wedding planner.

"Have you figured out how you're going to do your hair?" Allie asked and I looked over towards her and nodded my head, smiling brightly.

"Really?! What?" Vero asked.

I smiled and then walked into the other room and grabbed one of the books that Taylor had left down. I turned to the page and showed them the picture. I laughed when they all squealed and nodded their heads.

"It's perfect! Oh my god, Jewels, you're going to look so beautiful!" Vero said and I smiled brightly.

There was ringing on my laptop in front of me and I smiled and adjusted the laptop to see that my sister was Skyping me. I laughed because I told her that the girls and I were meeting today and she wanted to be a part of the conversation, with her being the maid of honor and all.

"Andy!" I squealed happily and Vero, Allie and Christine all sat around me on the couch so that they could all see her.

"Hi guys!" Andrea waved into the webcam and then turned her head to talk to someone, "Mom's here too!"

"Really?!" I asked and then smiled towards my mom, "Hi mom!"

"Hi baby!" mom said and I smiled.

I filled them in on everything that was finished and then listened to them 'Ooo' and 'Ahhh' at all of the arrangements.

"Has Sidney seen anything yet?" Andrea asked and I smiled.

"Everything but the dress, I'm sticking to tradition on that one," I laughed and everyone nodded their head.

"So what are we going to do about your bachelorette party?!" Christine asked and then looked at Andrea.

"I'm looking into it now, I'm thinking," she smiled, "Vegas?"

"No, that's too clique, I want something not a lot of people do," I smiled and Andrea nodded her head.

"Disney?" she asked and I laughed and shook my head, "Miami?"

I looked at the screen and thought about it and then looked at the girls who were smiling, "Yeah, I can do that!"

"Awesome!" Andrea said and then smiled towards her mother, "Do you want to call Trina and Taylor or me?"

"You can," I said and Andrea nodded her head.

-Sidney-

I looked at my phone and saw that I had a text from Julie saying that we never went pick out rings and she doesn't know how she forgot about it. I cursed because I forgot about it too.

"How the hell did I do that?" I muttered to myself and then felt someone pat my shoulder.

"Talking to yourself is a sign of insanity, Sid," I turned and saw Marc smirking towards me.

"I forgot to pick out rings," he said and Marc laughed and shook his head.

"How did you do that? That's kind of like the main thing- Well, not the main thing, but-"

"Marc! What do I do? I have no time to go with her!" I whined and Marc sighed and patted his back.

"Make time."

"But-"

"Make time, Sid," he said and then turned away, "If you wanna make this marriage work, you have to make time for things. No matter how tired you are, or how crazy your schedule is, you have to."

I nodded my head and then watched as Marc walked away. I was about to text Julie back, but my phone went off again and I looked to see that my mom was calling me, "Hello?"

"Sid, sweetie, I just got the invitation for the wedding, I'm confused."

"Why?" I asked and chuckled a little.

"Why is the wedding in Texas and why can't we tell Julie?"

"Because her family can't afford the trip up, so I decided to make the trip down since we all can," I said and smiled just thinking about the fact that I was going to be marrying Julie, "And it's a secret because I want to surprise Julie."

"Don't you think that she's going to figure out that something is off when she's on a plane the day before her wedding?" mom asked and I sighed.

"Andrea's figuring something out, I think she said that she's going to make the bachelorette party plans right before the wedding and go right to Texas from there," I said and I heard my mother sigh.

"I hope this works."

"Me too, I don't think she would mind if she knew, but I want it to be a surprise," I said and as I started to walked towards my hotel room.

"Well, I think you'll definitely surprise her, maybe even make her cry," mom laughed and I smirked as I opened my door.

"See! I can be romantic!" I said and my mom laughed harder.

"Oh sweetie, you're just like your father, you two are about as romantic as a fish to air," she said and I scoffed.

"That doesn't make any sense."

"Ya both don't get along well, non compatible, fish does not equal air!" she explained and I sighed and shook my head.

"All right, all right, I get it! Hey, but you gotta admit that I'm doing really well here!"

"That's still debatable," mom laughed and I rolled my eyes, "Oh, Taylor wants to talk to you."

"All right," I said and then stood up when I heard a knock at my door. I walked over and opened the door to see some of the guys walking in.

"Big brother!"

"What's up, Taylor?" I laughed and then sat back on my bed.

"So mom said that I can't go on the bachelorette party! Can you talk her into letting me go?!" Taylor asked and I could hear my mom yelling in the background.

"I can't! Who's gunna watch Josh?" I asked and smirked towards the ground when I heard her whine, "Taylor, you're the one who's going to be in charge of watching him when they're gone."

"What about you?!" she whined.

"I'll be with the guys getting ready for the wedding, you have to fly with him down to Texas, we'll meet you there," I said and Taylor groaned.

"For two hundred and a new iPhone," she said and I laughed.

"What happened to your old one?" I asked.

"Don't ask."

"Too late! What happened?"

"The screen cracked," she stated and I heard my mom tell her to tell me the whole story, "I didn't like it and wanted an upgrade so me and some of the girls decided to play hockey with it, now it barely works."

"Barely is better than not," I laughed as I shook my head, "All right, I accept your offer."

"Yes!" Taylor cheered and I laughed, "Love you big brother! Have fun in Ottawa-

"Winnipeg," I corrected.

"Whatever! Just win!" she said and I smirked, "Love you."

"You're only saying that because you're getting a new phone."

"You're still loved though!"

"Uh huh, you wouldn't be saying that if I didn't agree to your offer," I laughed.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night!"

I laughed and shook my head, "Bye Taylor."

"Bye Sid," she giggled and I then hung up the phone and looked at the guys that were waiting patiently in my room.

"Dude, food, now! Hungry!" James and Kris said and I nodded my head and grabbed my wallet, heading out with the guys for some food and hopping that the guys that weren't coming out weren't going to pull a prank like they usually do.
