Olympic Break

Keirstyn

Keirstyn
"I go on vacation for a week and now you're sleeping with Jeff. Holy shit." She shook her head while she spoke to Faith on the phone. "I wish I had a cute best friend I could fuck."
"What about Jeremy?" Faith snorted.
"It was a one time thing! Fuck off!" Keirstyn yelled.
"You'll probably find some hot, blue eyed, blonde hair, tall, fit, Californian boy." Faith told her.
"Lets hope." Keirstyn sighed, hanging up the phone.
She looked out of the beach house her mom's new boy you had rented for them. He decided to take them on a Californian getaway. Keirstyn obviously wouldn't turn that down, but she wished her brother hadn't of tagged along.
She watched him talking with some random group of guys on the beach. She prayed to God he hadn't smuggled drugs across the boarder and was trying to sell them to these poor guys. She walked outside, the heat swallowing her.
She wore a thin, flower pattern dress over her bathing suit. The train of the dress flowed behind her as she walked down the beach to her brother. All the guys looked to her as she approached. She crossed her arms, glaring at her brother.
"What are you doing, Tyler?" She hissed at him.
"Talking to these guys." He answered, more like a question.
"I'm sorry if he's harassed you or tried to pressure you into buying any sort of drugs. I'll bring him home now." She apologized to the three guys, grabbing her brother.
She dragged him away from the guys a bit before he stopped her. He yanked her back. She tumbled into him.
"I wasn't selling drugs!" He defended.
"Yeah, we were just chatting." The tallest guy called over to them. "He told us you were vacationing here so we thought we'd invite you to a party tonight."
Keirstyn eyed him over. His hair was blonde. He was tan. He was squinting because of the sun but from what she could tell, his eyes were blue. Her eyes wandered to his torso where she saw a ripple of abs. He had a wrap around his wrist. Her eyes met his. He was exactly what Faith had described.
She was definitely interested, who could blame her? The boy was beautiful. She could tell by the smirk he was giving her that he was used to girls drooling over him. She wasn't going to be that easy for him to get. Keirstyn Maracle refused to be another notch on his bed post.
She smiled up at him before looking to his friend. She kicked her lips, giving him the best pouty eyes she could. She watched his Adam's Apple bob as he swallowed hard.
"When and where is this party?" She asked him.
He blinked his eyes a few times in confusion. "It's, uh, at, uh, uh,"
"It's at my house." The blonde cut in. "I can come get you before it if you need help finding your way."
"Why can't," She paused, looking at the shorter brunette she was giving eyes to.
"Josh." He grinned.
"Josh, take me to it?" Keirstyn finished.
"I guess he can." The blonde shrugged.
"This is my punk little sister, Keirstyn." Tyler stated. "Keir, that's Josh, Brad, and Beau."
So Tall, Built, and Blonde's name is Beau. Beau grinned at her again. Keirstyn laughed a bit before she shook her head. She began trekking back to the pool house. She spun back around.
"What time should I be ready?" She asked Josh.
He opened his mouth the speak. No words came out so he looked to Beau. He rolled his blue eyes at his friend. His glanced turned to Keirstyn.
"He'll be here at eight. If he can't manage that, I'll be here." He stated.
"Just point me in the direction of your house and I'll walk until I find it. I don't need you to come get me, Pretty Boy." She rolled her eyes as she turned back towards the house.
Her mother walked outside, eyeing her kids and the boys they were with. Keirstyn approached her. She smirked, turning to look over her shoulder.
"Mom, Tyler got a boyfriend." She stated, loud enough for her brother to hear.
"I'm sure his girlfriend and son back home would love that!" Their mom yelled.
Tyler rolled his eyes. Keirstyn laughed. The guys he was with laughed at the comment too. Tyler flipped his mom and sister off before walking off with the three guys. Keirstyn caught Beau looking back at her. She rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she walked inside.
A few hours passed at it was just after eight. During the time from the meeting with Beau until now, Keirstyn had two naps, a shower, ate four times, did her hair, picked out her outfit, argued with Tyler about her outfit, ended up keeping the outfit on, and then did her make up. She was ready for the party and told Tyler she'd meet him there. Truth being, she was going to avoid him at all costs.
She strolled down the beach, making sure to show up fashionably late. She heard music and knew she was heading in the right direction. She walked up to a giant house with glass windows from top to bottom of the floors. She walked up from the beach. She walked into the house, heading for the coolers she saw with beer. She chugged one back in no time.
The night went on and Keirstyn decided it was time for her to either, A, find somewhere to sleep, or B, head home so she could sleep. She figured crashing at a random's house wouldn't be a good story for her mother, so she staggered away from the house and onto the beach.
Keirstyn couldn't walk in a remotely straight line if her life depended on it. She felt something sharp puncture her foot before she dropped into the sand. A dark substance was under her injured foot. Blood. She picked her foot up and saw a tiny gash. In her mind, she was clearly going to bleed to death on this beach.
"Fuck me!" She cried. "Oh, son of a fucking bitch!" She screamed.
She yelled nearly every profanity she could think of. Finally, she saw two people approaching her. She called out for them and they rushed over. She recognized one to be Beau and the other was some random broad.
"Are you okay?" The girl asked, kneeling down.
"I stepped on something and now my foot's bleeding." Keirstyn explained. "I'm probably going to die."
"That's why you always wear shoes on the beach." Beau sighed.
"Sorry. I'm from fucking Canada. We don't leave objects that can wound innocent citizens in public places." Keirstyn spat.
The girl stood up. "I'll go call an ambulance or something so we can get her to the hospital." She said before taking off.
"I'll just carry you to your house." He rolled his eyes, examining Keirstyn's foot. "It's honestly just a cut from like a rock or a br,"
"Broken beer bottle? Most likely." She butted in.
He laughed. "I was gonna say a broken shell that washed up on the shore."
He helped Keirstyn stand. He picked her up and walked down to the beach house she was rented as if she wasn't in his arms. He opened the sliding door in the back the led right into her room, laying her on her bed.
"Do you have, like, first aid shit?" He questioned.
"Bathroom." She pointed.
He walked into the bathroom, flicking on the light. She watched him bend over to the cabinet under the sink. Well, she watched his butt. He stood up straight and walked out with the kit. He sat on her bed and lifted her cut foot onto his lap.
"Isn't your girlfriend going to lose her shit about you carrying off some foreign girl into the night?" She quizzed.
Beau chuckled. "Roni's hardly my girlfriend." He scoffed.
Keirstyn rolled her eyes. "I'm calling bullshit. You were on a midnight stroll down the beach with her."
"More like a midnight walk of shame." He admitted as he started cleaning up her foot. "I wanted a quickie so we walked down the beach so no one would catch it."
"Disgusting." She shook her head.
"As if you've never gotten or given a quickie." He argued.
"That's really none of your business." She snapped back.
"And caught." He grinned as he pressed a cotton ball of peroxide to her wound.
"Fuck, that hurts. Ease up." She whined.
"Just trying to prevent infection." He shrugged.
"What's your story with your wrist?" She nodded towards it.
"I broke it."
"Did ya jerk it too hard?" She smirked.
"No, I took a puck to the wrist." He rolled his eyes.
"Like a hockey puck?" Beau nodded at her question. "Where the fuck were you playing hockey in California?"
"I play in the NHL. I'm on IR right now." He explained as he bandaged her foot.
"Oh, I don't really follow that anymore. I mean I was a big Pittsburgh fan when Crosby first started but I realized I had no chance and gave up on that dream." She stated. He let out a laugh. "You think it's funny that I have no chance with a Pittsburgh Penguin?"
"No, I think it's funny that you have no idea you're talking to one." He sighed.
"Oh, bullshit. You do not play for them." She laughed at Beau.
He put her foot down, digging around for his phone. He pulled it out. He did some scrolling before handing it to her.
"Google 'Beau Bennett', right now." He instructed her.
She did as she was told. She nearly fainted when she saw his face every where in Pittsburgh jerseys. She looked up at him to see him blushing. Aw, he was shy.
"So can you set me up with Sid like ASAP?" She smirked.
"He's kinda of tied up with more important, prior commitments right now." Beau told her.
"What is more important than going out with a hot chick?" She scoffed.
"The Olympic Games?" He cocked a brow.
"Wow, I'm totally out of date with the world." She shook her head.
"You could go out on a date with me?" He slid in.
Keirstyn's brows raised. She was impressed. This kid was smooth. She crossed her arms, looking over his expression. He looked impatient, but as if he needed an answer before his next move.
"Alright, California, I'll go on a date with you. But you better woo me." She warned.
"No worries, Canada. I'm full of surprises."
