Cold As Ice

One Last Time

“Have you talked to Beau at all?” Fiona asked as they sat at the dinner table eating the takeout food they ordered.
“He called me to say goodbye and he asked me to go to his game in Buffalo next week.” Kayla replied, she was pretty bummed over the fact that Beau was leaving because she had so much fun over the past two days.
“Are you going to go?” Fiona asked as she threw a fry into her mouth.
Kayla nodded, “Do you want to come?” She asked, she was hoping her friends would come with her so she wouldn’t have to go alone.
“Sure, I get to see James again.” Fiona smiled; she felt her phone buzz and grabbed it off the table, her smile dropped as she saw his name appear on her screen. She declined the call and ignored Kayla’s stares.
“Are you ever going to talk to him?”Kayla sighed, Fiona was acting childish when it came to her ex, she wouldn’t even answer his calls.
“Nope.” Fiona got up from her seat and cleared her plate; she quickly washed her plate and walked into her room not wanting to talk to Kayla about the situation. Her phone vibrated again, she sighed before answering it.
“Please come back home,“ Jeff begged, Fiona sighed, “I haven’t been the same without you.”
“Jeff,” Fiona sighed, “We’ve talked about this already.”
“I know, and I’ve tried to move on, you’re just so hard to forget.” He admitted Fiona felt a sharp pain in her chest; it killed her knowing Jeff was so hurt over her.
She missed Jeff terribly, it had been two months since they broke up and she still had trouble trying to forget about him. She couldn’t deny the fact that she missed him too, but she couldn’t do it again. She couldn’t move back to Carolina and leave her life behind for him.
“Jeff, I’m sorry.” Fiona apologized.
“Is there anything I can say to bring you back to me?” He sighed, Jeff was tired of fighting for her, he spent the last two months trying to get her back and nothing he said or did worked. He wasn’t going to give up; he couldn’t and wouldn’t move on without her.
“I’ve made up my mind. Goodbye Jeff.” Fiona sighed before hanging up, she waited for him to call her back but he never did.
She began to sob; she threw her phone onto her phone as she held her head in her hands. She couldn’t miss Jeff anymore, it had been two months and it’s time they both moved on from each other. She didn’t love him, she couldn’t love him anymore.

Jordan walked through the door with Jake trailing right behind her, as she walked into the living room she noticed Sam and Jon laying on the couch together. They both looked up at her and smiled.
“You better not be naked under those covers.” Jordan teased; Sam rolled her eyes and pulled the cover down to show that they were indeed clothed.
Jordan sat on the opposite couch and Jake joined her, he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her into his chest. “You ready for the game tonight?” He asked Jon.
“Definitely.” Jon smirked, the maple leafs had some very talented players but Jon was confident that his team could beat them.
“So how’s Lindsay Jon?” Jake smirked, it was like you could actually see the color drain from Jon’s face, Sam looked up at him confused.
“Who’s Lindsay?” She asked, she looked over at Jake and raised an eyebrow, was there something she was missing out on? Jordan realized what was going on and immediately felt bad for Jon; there was no way he’d get out of this safely.
“She’s no one.” Jon shrugged it off and avoided looking Sam in the eye, Sam looked over at Jake, and he still had the same smug look on his face. She looked from Jake to Jordan who gave her a sincere look; she was confused, what was going on?
“It’s his girlfriend.” Jake answered, Sam’s mouth dropped she looked up at Jon waiting for him to deny it, but he couldn’t, he wouldn’t even look at her.
Sam got up from the couch throwing the covers off of her and made her way to her room, Jordan got up and followed her, she glared at Jake and he gave her an innocent smile. She slammed her bedroom door and sat on her bed with her head in her hands, Jordan walked in and sat beside her, she put her arm around her friend and comforted her.
“Sam, it’s okay.” Jordan reassured, Sam got up and paced back and forth.
“It’s not okay Jordan! I never wanted to be the girl a guy cheats with!” Sam shouted, she dropped onto the floor as she tried to fight back the tears. Sam had been cheated on multiple times by the person she loved, and she promised herself she’d never be the one to ruin someone else’s relationship.
“I’ll be right back.” Jordan got up and walked out of Sam’s room; she walked up to Jon and punched him in the stomach. “You asshole!” She shouted, Jake got up and grabbed Jordan’s waist and pulled her away from him.
“I deserved that.” Jon sighed; he walked over to Sam’s room and knocked on the door, “Sam?” He called out.
“Go away!” Sam shouted, she got up from the floor and locked her door, she sat on the floor by her door as she listened to Jon apologize.
“I was going to break up with her.” Jon admitted, he stood outside Sam’s bedroom door hoping she’d let him in.
“Why?” Sam mumbled just loud enough for him to hear.
“Because I met you.” The door slowly opened and Jon stepped inside, he looked at Sam and frowned when he noticed she had been crying.
“I didn’t mean to make you cry.” He pulled her in for a tight hug; she tried to fight it at first but eventually gave up and hugged him back.
“I like you Sam.” Jon confessed, she looked up at him and smiled, he leaned down and gently kissed her

Ariel rolled off of Sid and laid beside him, he had texted her to come by his hotel before he left for Pittsburgh and she practically came running. She had broken her own one night stand rules but Sidney was worth it.
“I don’t want to leave.” Sid sighed as he sat up; he slipped his shirt back on and looked down at Ariel who was lying exhausted from their actions.
“I don’t want you to leave either.” Ariel pouted.
“You should come to our game in Buffalo next week, and we can do this gain.” Sid winked, Ariel nodded, if driving a few hours meant she would be able to sleep with Sid again, then she was all for it.
Ariel and Sidney both got up and dressed themselves, Sidney eyed Ariel as she slid her leggings back on; she smirked to herself as she caught him staring.
“You have no idea how bad I want to bend you over and take you again.” Sid grabbed Ariel and kissed her roughly.
He pushed her back onto the bed before getting on top of her, “One last time before I go.” He pressed his lips back to hers.
