'Hey! Are you guys ready?' I called Kevin Sunday morning.

'Hi Emma! We'll be right down.' He said

'Okay, bye!' As I closed the phone.

'Are they coming?' Katie said as she sat on the passengers seat.

'On their way down' I reply

'Are you okay with whole thing? We couldn't really talk last night.'

'Yeah I'm fine. Just trying to put all of that behind me. I'm tired with all this Jess shit. It just needs to get settled.'

I decided I would pick up Kevin and Jess since Mark and Danny left with Adam and Reilly earlier in the morning and headed to practice.

'Here they are' Katie says as she exhales and whispers ‘Dumb Bitch’ under her breath. I flash them as a smile as they make their way into my car.

'Morning girls.' Kevin says as he sits down.

'Morning! How are you guys doing?' I ask

'We're good! Sorry we couldn't stay out later last night Emma' Kevin says.

'Oh no, Kevin don't worry about it. Totally understandable.' Jess hadn’t said anything, it was as if she wasn’t in the car.

'How are you feeling Jess?' Katie says as if she had read my mind.

'Better than ever, thanks.' She says instantly.

'Good. Cuz its going to be a long day.' Katie says.

'We're excited to spend the day with you guys!' Kevin said. He is such a sweetheart.

'Us too, especially Reilly.' I said and smiled. My smile faded as my eyes landed on Jess from the rear view mirror.

We get to the rink in about 20 min. It was an open practice and a lot of fans attended these practices, so that meant no parking.

'I’ll drop you guys off at the entrance and find parking.'

'Are you sure?' Katie said

'Yeah, I'll be right there.' I say as they get out of the car.

I finally found a spot and start walking. A few teenagers were infront of me.

'Oh my god. We're going to be in the same room as the players. Maybe they'll notice us! I can't breathe' one of them said.

I just smiled because this was me not to long ago and look how things turned out. It still seemed so unreal. She turns back, shocked to see someone behind her.

'I'm sorry! I can't believe I said that out loud.' She says as she blushes.

'Haha! Don't worry about it! I totally get it! We're not really that different.' I said as I smile to her. She smiles back, relieved.

I head in and I could not find anyone. I was stuck holding the door as I searched the crowed and was last to go in.

BANG. The door locked shut as I let it go. It was so loud that everyone looked over, once again. It was like déjà vu. Perfect.

Katie walks up to me. ‘There you are.’

'Somebody needs to fix these doors. Seriously.' I said.

Katie just laughs and takes me to the area where they were siting.

Adam skates near the glass and shakes his head.

'Again?!'

'Shut up Adam!' I said

Reilly skates over and winks. My heart melted. Was I ever going to get used to this?

The practice lasted over an hour. The players headed into the locker room to change.

We walked outside for a bit with the rest of the group and waited by the doors.

A few of the fans waited around to see the players, hoping to get a chance to take a picture with the players. Most players stayed, a few quickly got into their cars and left. Marchy, Dougie, Adam, Reilly and Krug stuck around for the hockey game. They came out, still in their gear with just their practice jerseys missing. I go over and give Reilly a quick hug and we walk over. His nose and cheeks were rosy, his hair was wet, a combination of ice and sweat and he looked so good.

‘This is the first time, I’ve see you in just your gear, and I like it. Especially this sexy wet hair’ I say.

‘I’ll keep that in mind’ he smirks and plants a soft kiss on my lips.

‘Reilly!’ Kevin says as he gives him a hug.

‘Sorry about not staying last night bro...’He says with a sad expression on his face.

‘Don’t worry about it Kev! Just excited to spend the rest of the day with my favorite boys’ as Reilly puts his arm around Kevin’s shoulder.

‘I’m surprised you guys are this alert right now. I figured you haven’t had much sleep last night’ He says as he laughed.

‘It’s okay, it was worth it’ Reilly says as he instantly looks at me and winks. Again I become beet red.

'You guys ready!?' I ask

'Bring it!' Mark said laughing.

The two girls that were in front of me this morning, walked by. They turned bright red as they saw all of the guys together. They both smiled at me and put their head down and slowly started walking away.

'Girls!' I call out, they both turn around instantly.

'Would you like a picture with these guys?' I smiled.

Their faces lit up and they quickly nodded.

'Come here' I say as I signal them to come over. They slowly approach with the biggest smiles on their face.

'I’ll take the picture' I said as the boys formed a group with the two girls in the center.

'Cheeeeeeeese!' I say as I take a few pictures.

'Babe, are these your friends?' Reilly says as he smiles at them.

'Yes they are!' I smile at them.

'Thank you so much guys! We're huge fans!' One of the said as they each hugged the players.

'No thank you!' Reilly says.

I give them each a hug. They whisper in my ear.

"Thank you so much! This is the best day ever!'

'You're welcome sweetie!' I said as they walked away. I go stand next to Reilly.

One of them turns around and smiles, 'You guys make the cutest couple!'

'Aw! Thanks!' I say as I wave. Reilly looks at me and gives me a kiss.

'We do make a cute couple, don't we?'

'We certainly do!' I said as we smile.

'Okay! Let's play some hockey!' Adam says.

All the boys go into the locker room and change. The girls, Katie, Jess and I were left sitting on the players bench.

This was getting awkward, fast. No one was really saying anything. We were impatiently waiting for the guys to come out. Katie kept looking at me and I had do much to say but didn't find the right time.

'So...Reilly seems to be doing good.' Jess says trying to make conversation. It was the first time she had spoken since this morning.

'Yeah' I say as I look at her and quickly away.

'Cut the crap Jess! Why the hell are you here?' Katie says. I was taken back.

'I really wanted Kevin to visit so I told him that I wanted to come see Boston. He has been really busy working two jobs to support our baby, he needed a break. And I thought this would be perfect...'

‘It would have been perfect if this was really your first time in the city but you blew that when you came here with this infatuated love for Reilly and pregnancy. You really got some nerve coming here like this Jess. Don't you realize your little lie is going to come out sooner or later?' I snap.

'No, please don't tell him. I beg you! It will ruin everything.' Jess said with tears in her eyes. Wow, she was human after all. I started to feel sorry for her.

‘Why didn’t you give us a warning that you were coming? Or better yet, why the hell didn’t you tell him before? The longer you wait, the worse its going to get. The guilt, the lies, the betrayal is going to crush him. He seems like an absolute sweetheart and loving person and honestly Jess, he’s too good for you.’ Jess started getting very emotional.

‘I know he is. Don’t you think I know that. Oh God! What have I done to him. He doesn’t deserve this. I just need to tell him in the right time. Please don’t say anything, please.’ She says

'We're not going to say anything but you have to tell him Jess. But he deserve to know. Everyone here knows except him and it's not fair to him.'

No response. I continue,

'I know this will destroy him and its not my place to tell but if I have to, eventually at some point, I will and I don’t want to do that.'

She puts her head down and nods. 'Are the guys going to say anything?'

'I'll tell them not too but they're all best friends, wouldn't you want to tell your best friend if you were in their shoes?' She didn't say anything. Tears were still running down her face.

'If he loves you, he'll forgive you. I hope everything works out for you Jess. I really do' I said and ended the conversation.

'Thank you.' She says as she pulls me into a hug. I was not expecting that at all. After everything this girl put me through I was willing to let that go and move on.

At that point the boys appear on the ice. I make eye contact with Reilly as I get out of the hug. The look on his face is priceless. He puts his hand on his heart and mouths 'Aw!' I give him the evil eye in which he starts laughing.

The teams where divided: Reilly, Kevin, Mark and Danny on one team, and Dougie, Marchy, Krug and Adam on the other.

'Someone needs to drop the puck.' Kevin says.

'Emma! Come here' Marchy says signaling me to come.

'Try not to fall' Reilly said as he was holding in his laughter.

'Thanks Reills!' As I was making my way slowly onto the center of the ice, Reilly met me half way and offered me his hand for balance.

'Thanks' I say as I stand between Reilly and Marchy who were up for the faceoff.

'Emma! Wait right there! Let me take a pic!' Katie said as she grabbed her phone.

'It's like you read my mind!' As I posed.

'Okay, last one, this time with my gameface on.' She took a few of me pictures. Reilly put his head down laughing.

'Seriously?' Adam said.

'Adam hush! This is a big deal! Okay ready?!' I pretend to throw the puck a few times like the referee does during games. They were getting impatient and I finally let it drop and watched them aggressively go at it. When I saw my chance I quickly went to the bench, apparently not a fast as I had hope. I was slipping all over the place, Reilly skates over out of no where and pulls me to the bench.

'Watch your step there ref.' he says as he smirks and skates away.

'That was fun!' I said as I sat on the bench.

'Here we go!!' I cheered

'Who are you exactly cheering for?' Katie said.

'Both?' We all started laughing.

I thought they were going to goof around but they didn't really. They were do competitive and aggressive, I was surprised.

They took a 5 min water break.

'Guys it's just a game. Stop bringing so competitive. There isn't a prize' Jess said.

'There is. Losers pay for lunch/dinner and bragging rights for a while' Reilly said.

'Big whoop.' I said as Reilly looked at me.

'Who are you cheering for exactly?' As he leans over and kisses my cheek.

'Your team obviously!' I said.

'Wow thanks for the love Emma.' Marchy said as he skates over. 'This team has all the love and support and all I got is Adam, Krug and Dougie'

'Umm hello! I'm here for you Marchy!' Katie says

'Good! Thank you Katie!' He says as he puts his hand on his heart.

'Aw! Still love you Brad' I said

'Sure.' We all start laughing.

Whenever someone scored, no matter what team, the bench would sing the Bruins goal song. It seemed like Jess was not even there. The game was best out of 10 and Reilly's team won by 1.

'We still got it!' Danny said as they got in a circle and group hugged.

'Great game guys!' Jess said.

Marchy came over with a frown. I gave him a hug.

'Aww it's okay!' Reilly was behind him and I flashed him my smile and a thumbs up.

'Great game boys!' I gave Kevin, Mark, Danny and lastly Reilly a hug.

'How did we do ref?' As he tightens his grip around my waist.

'It wasn't a clean game but I'll let it slip this time.' He laughs

'So you and Jess are besties now?' He says curiously.

'Far from it. She doesn't want us saying everything because they are in a good place right now and it will ruin everything. She wants to do it when she thinks its the right time. And honestly it will crush Kevin. You know that. So I don't know, maybe we can just let it go...'

'Let it go?! He's one of my best friends Emma, he needs to know what kind of person she is.'

'Please keep your voice down, they're right there. Come here. ‘As we walk away from the group.

‘What will you say exactly? Tell me. Would it be something along the lines of ‘Kevin, so this isn’t the first time Jess in Boston. You see, she came here few months ago and she tried to pin your baby on me so her baby can have a better life because she thinks you’re a low life, who still lives with your parents and you can’t support your child.’’ I say

‘Wow, well not like that.’ He says

‘Reilly! That’s the truth. That’s the perfect explanation and you see why you can’t say that. You have to talk to Jess and come up with a better and ‘less harsher version.’’

‘Fuck that bitch, I’m not talking to her’ I lap him on the shoulder.

I gave him a ‘Are you kidding me?’ look. ‘That’s so immature.’

‘Just because you’re besties with her now and feel bad for her, doesn’t mean I do too.’

‘Don’t you see! I’m doing this for you! So you don’t lose your best friend! I don’t give two shits about Jess!’ I said through my teeth. I was so angry with him.

I shake my head and walk away. He catches up.

‘I’m sorry. Can we just see how the rest of the day goes and then we can decided what to do? I'll fill in Danny and Mark.'

‘Do whatever you want to do Reilly.’ As I walk towards Katie.

'Whose ready for lunch!?' Marchy said. 'I'm starving'

'Let's go change boys, so we can head out' Adam says as they head into the locker room.

'So what did Reilly say?' Katie asks

'We got in a fight. He says Kevin needs to know and he can't just let it go.' I continue,

'I don't know, we'll see how lunch goes I guess.' Katie gives me a hug.

'Yeah'

'Ugh I'm sorry. This sucks. She should have just done it like she was suppose to, long time ago.' Katie says.

'I know. So much fucking Jess drama. I thought I was done with her. I just hope it doesn't just slip. She needs to tell him alone and not in front of everyone because it's going to get very awkward.'

'I agree'

I gave her a thumbs down as I stuck out my tongue. She laughed and we walked outside to the car.

'Let's go.'
