James and Morgan are cuddling on their bed. James has been depressed since his major surgeries. Morgan tries to comfort him.

Morgan - What’s the matter honey?
James - Just feeling like everyone hates me.
Morgan - I know you feel that way but it’s not true. You have me, your kids, Jordan, Leslie, and your family.
James - I just don’t know how I’m going to get through this.
Morgan - Honey it’ll be ok. I will help you get through this hell you’re going through and maybe you should go talk to someone about this. I think it would help you.
James - Maybe you’re right. I don’t like feeling like this all the time.
Morgan - I just want you to get help before it gets any worse. It would kill me if something happened to you.
James - Really?
Morgan - Of course it would. I love you James and I will stick by you. No one is going to hurt you again.
James - You promise?
Morgan - Of course I do. Now come on you need to eat something.
James - Will you make me some chicken soup?
Morgan - Sure honey

Morgan gives James a kiss and then gets up from the bed. She goes into the kitchen to make him some lunch. A little while later James gets up and sneaks behind Morgan and wraps his arms around her and kisses the back of her neck. They begin to kiss until lunch is ready. James grabs a couple of bowls, spoons, and the crackers. He takes them over to the table. A little while later Morgan brings the pot of soup over and dishes some up for the two of them. As they’re eating James takes a hold of Morgan’s hand and tells her he appreciates her taking care of him. They finish eating. Morgan cleans up the table. James goes back into the bedroom to take a nap. Morgan goes to check on the kids and then joins James for a nap. James wakes up later that night and starts looking for a psychiatrist to talk to about his severe depression. He makes an appointment for in the morning. He smiles when he sees Morgan is still asleep. He gives her a kiss while he runs his fingers through her hair. He goes back to sleep until the next morning. He gets dressed and heads to his appointment. He walks into the doctor’s office and is told to lay down on the couch.

Doctor Eve - Ok James tell me why you felt you needed to come see me today.
James - I’ve had a hellish month and a half so I feel defeated.
Doctor Eve - Can you tell me about the events that have happened up to now?
James - Last month I was really sick with Mono. So I missed a month of a half of hockey games. While I was recovering the media in Pittsburgh came up with a rumor that I was really abusing drugs and that I was really suspended for that.
Doctor Eve - Have you ever used illegal drugs?
James - No, I’ve never touched that stuff. I would go drinking with some of my teammates but that ended after I met my wife.
Doctor Eve - Anything else?
James - When I recovered from Mono I was sent to the AHL for conditioning I apparently was traded to another team without being told. When my wife and I returned to Pittsburgh I returned to practice with the team and noticed my name plate in the locker room was missing. I asked some of my teammates what was going on and no one would tell me. One of the coaches told me to get out of the locker room. I asked them what was going on and was then told I was traded.
Doctor Eve - How did that make you feel?
James - I was pretty upset and angry about not being told about this until the day I returned to practice.
Doctor Eve - Once you moved to your new team did your new teammates accept you?
James - No, I wasn’t accepted as one of them cuz my wife, Morgan, is the ex-wife of the team captain’s brother.
Doctor Eve - And blames you for their marriage ending correct?
James - Yes, cuz last spring I had sex with Morgan and accidentally got her pregnant when she was already pregnant. Jordan’s brother, Eric, has never been able to forgive me for that. He brainwashed Jordan into not loving Morgan anymore. Eric wants me traded cuz he hates me.
Doctor Eve - Tell me what happened in your first game with your new team.
James - I was hurt pretty badly. I’m still recovering and still will be for awhile. No one on the ice would stick up for me. Jordan came off the bench and fought my former teammate who hit me into the boards.
Doctor Eve - Ok James this is a great start.
James - So you’ll be able to fix me?
Doctor Eve - I think so. You’re an easy case to fix James. I’ve seen worse. I’m going to prescribe you some anti-depressants to take for a month.
James - Ok
Doctor Eve - I want to see you again at the end of the week to see how you’re doing.
James - Ok, thank you doctor.

James shakes the doctor’s hand and then leaves for home. Before heading home he stops at Walgreens to have his prescription filled. He then heads home. When he gets home he finds Morgan laying on the couch but not asleep. He goes over to the couch and sits next to Morgan.

Morgan - Hey, how’d it go?
James - I think it went ok.
Morgan - So is the doctor going to be able to fix you?
James - She believes so. She gave me a prescription for some anti-depressants to take for about a month. She wants to see me again at the end of the week.
Morgan - That’s not so bad. You already seem to be in a better mood. Nice to see you smiling.
James - She’s already helped me a little. I have to know how you’re feeling.
Morgan - The morning sickness has hit.
James - Why don’t you go back to bed honey.
Morgan - Will you come with me?
James - Of course I will. Do you need anything?
Morgan - Can you pour me a glass of 7up to drink?
James - Sure babe

Morgan gets up and goes into her and James’s bedroom. James gets up and goes into the kitchen to pour a glass of 7up for Morgan. He puts a straw in the glass and then takes it to Morgan. He sees that Morgan is already sound asleep so he puts the glass of 7up on the nightstand. He lays down on the bed next to Morgan and wraps his arms around her holding her close so that they’re spooning with one another. He is asleep until the next morning. Morgan wakes up and smiles when she feels James holding her. She turns over and gives James a kiss when he wakes up.

Morgan - I love you.
James - I love you too baby.
Morgan - Only good thing about you being out for awhile is that you’re going to be here with me.
James - (Smiles) And I’ve really missed spending time with you like this.
Morgan - Me too
James - You feeling better?
Morgan - A little bit.
James - You don’t look as pale as you did yesterday. You up to having some breakfast?
Morgan - I can try and eat something.
James - Ok, then I’ll fix us something.
Morgan - Aww, you don’t have to do that.
James - I know baby but I want to.
Morgan - Aww, I love you James.
James - I love you too honey.

James gives Morgan a kiss and then get up and heads into the kitchen to fix him and Morgan something to eat. Morgan then gets up and heads into the kitchen. She sneaks up behind James and wraps her arms around him. They begin to kiss until breakfast is ready. Morgan sets the table and James brings food over for them. While they’re eating James takes a hold of Morgan’s hand and smiles. They finish eating and then go over to the couch and start cuddling.

Morgan - Feels nice getting to cuddle with you again.
James - (Smiles) Sure feels nice to hold you again after my surgeries a few weeks ago.
Morgan - (Runs her fingers through James’s hair and gives him a kiss) I love you.
James - I love you too.

Morgan grabs the blanket that’s on the couch and covers them with it. They begin looking into each others eyes are begin to kiss. Morgan lays her head on James’s chest and goes right to sleep. James smiles when he warps his arm around her and gives her a kiss. He’s asleep a short time later until Jordan comes home from morning practice. Jordan laughs when he sees James and Morgan cuddling.

Jordan - So I leave you two alone and this is what happens.
Morgan - (Laughs) Be glad you only walked in on us cuddling.
Jordan - (Laughs) I would hope you two would hold off on the sex for awhile.
James - Doctor said no to that for a month or two.
Jordan - Man, I’m sorry this happened to you. You look miserable.
James - I’m pretty sore right now but I think I over did it a little.
Morgan - Then lets go lay on the bed.
James - Sounds good to me.

James gets up and head into the bathroom to take one of his pain pills. He then heads into his and Morgan’s bedroom and lays down on the bed. He’s asleep a short time later. Morgan joins him a little while later. She lays down on the bed next to James and wraps her arms around him so that they’re spooning with one another. She is asleep a short time later until later that night. Morgan wakes up and starts nuzzling and kissing James’s neck when he wakes up and turns over to face Morgan. He smiles when they begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss.

Morgan - I love you so much.
James - I love you too.
Morgan - I’m so glad that you’re starting to feel better.
James - I’ve been thinking and I don’t think I want to play anymore this year.
Morgan - Cuz of everything that’s been going on?
James - I just can’t handle being on a team where I’m not welcomed.
Morgan - I can’t say I’m surprised. You’ve been through hell and maybe we should get out of this city for awhile.
James - What are you suggesting?
Morgan - We take the kids and spend some time in Whitby with your parents.
James - (Smiles) I would like that very much.
Morgan - Why don’t you call them and tell them we’re coming up after you’ve had your session with Doctor Eve on Friday.
James - I think I will.

James grabs his cell phone and calls his parents

Deborah - Hey sweetie, what do you need?
James - Is it ok if I come home for awhile?
Deborah - Of course you as long as you bring those grandkids of mine.
James - Of course I will.
Deborah - Something’s wrong isn’t it?
James - We’ll talk about that when I get there.
Deborah - You having marriage problems?
James - No, Morgan and I are just fine. We’re still very much in love with one another.
Deborah - I do have to know how you’re feeling.
James - I’m ok other then I’m really sleepy from the pain killers I’m on.
Deborah - Go have something to eat and then go back to bed.
James - I think I will. Night Mom.
Deborah - Night sweetie.
James - I love you Mom.
Deborah - I love you too Son.

James and his mom hang up. He smiles when he kisses Morgan passionately.

Morgan - (Smiles) What was that for?
James - (Smiles) Cuz I love you so much baby
Morgan - Aww, I love you too.
James - So we’re going to be ok?
Morgan - Of course we are. We’ll get through this and everything is going to be ok.
James - Wish we could have a romantic night tonight.
Morgan - Aww, who says we can’t?
James - You sure that’s what you want? Cuz you know we can’t have sex yet.
Morgan - Well sure honey. There’s other ways to be intimate with one another without the sex.
James - Well ok.
Morgan - I can make us something to eat and then we can spend the rest of the night in each others arms.
James - (Smiles) I would love that so much.
Morgan - I figured you would.

Morgan gives James a kiss and then gets up from the bed to make a romantic dinner for her and James. When Morgan leaves to head to the kitchen James sighs and thinks of how much he loves Morgan. He gets up from the bed, checks on JJ and Isabella, and then goes into the kitchen. He smiles when he sneaks up behind Morgan and wraps his arms around her. He nuzzles and kisses her neck.

James - (Kisses Morgan’s neck as he whispers in her ear) I love you baby.
Morgan - (Sighs) I love you too.
James - Did you need help setting the table?
Morgan - That would be nice.

James sets the table. A little while later Morgan dishes up dinner for the two of them while James lights a couple candles. She joins James at the table. As they’re eating James takes a hold of Morgan’s hand and thanks her for being so supportive while he’s healing and dealing with his depression. He also tells her how much he loves her. They get done eating. James helps Morgan clean up the table. They go over to the couch. James pins Morgan to the couch and smiles. They begin looking into each others eyes and start to kiss. Morgan sighs when James starts gently kissing and biting her neck. This lasts until Morgan’s cell phone goes off. James stops kissing Morgan so she can answer her phone.

Leslie - Hope I wasn’t interrupting anything.
Morgan - Don’t worry you weren’t.
Leslie - (Laughs) Right, that’s why you sound out of breath.
Morgan - Ok yes James and I were kissing but that’s all we were doing since having actual sex is out of the question until James is fully recovered from his surgeries. If you hadn’t called it would have quickly turned into sex.
Leslie - Aww, well I’ll just go so you two can continue with your romantic evening. Just wanted to know how James is feeling.
Morgan - He’s ok. He’s still kind of sore.
Leslie - Aww, well I’m going to let you go so James can rest.
Morgan - I’ll call you tomorrow.
Leslie - Ok

The girls hang up. James and Morgan start kissing again. James runs his hand over Morgan’s body. They stop before they go any further. James gets off of Morgan so that they can cuddle for a little while before heading to bed. Morgan lays her head on James’s chest while he wraps his arm around her.

James - Thank you for everything tonight.
Morgan - You’re welcome sweetie.
James - I hope I didn’t hurt you when I was biting your neck.
Morgan - Aww, no you didn’t hurt me. I think you did give me a hickey though.
James - (Laughs) Well I guess you belong to me now.
Morgan - (Laughs) Guess you’re right baby.
James - Is it ok if we skip watching the game tonight?
Morgan - Sure baby we can go to bed if you want.
James - I’m just wiped out from my pain killers.
Morgan - You look exhausted babe. Come on I’ll take you to bed.

Morgan and James get up from the couch. James goes into the bathroom to take one of his pain pills so he gets a good nights sleep. When he goes into their bedroom he sees that Morgan is already in bed and already asleep. He lays down beside her. He wraps his arms around her pulling her close to him so that they’re spooning with one another. His pain pill starts kicking in and is asleep a few minutes later until later the next morning. Morgan wakes up and sees that James has left for the doctor to get his stitches taken out. She lays in bed and thinks about how wonderful last night was. She sighs cuz she feels that she’s falling for James all over again. She decides to leave James an ‘I love you’ text that says “The day I met you, my life changed. The way you make me feel is hard to explain. You make me smile in a special kind of way. You make me fall deeper in love everyday. I love you James.” She gets a text back from James saying “Every little thing that you do, I'm so in love with you. I wanna spend the rest of my life, with you by my side. I love you too honey.” She smiles and cries a little. A little while later James comes home. He comes into the bedroom and lays down beside her and smiles.

James - What are you still doing in bed honey?
Morgan - I woke up with a little bit of a headache so I was trying to sleep it off.
James - Do you need anything?
Morgan - Could you go get me some Tylenol?
James - Sure honey

James gives Morgan a kiss and then gets up to get Morgan some Tylenol. He comes back a short time later with a couple pills and a glass of water. He hands them to Morgan. She takes them. James sits on the bed beside her.

Morgan - Why don’t you stay here with me?
James - I would but I’m going to go have a session with Doctor Eve so we can leave for Whitby in the morning.
Morgan - Aww, that’s fine. Are you going to bring something home for dinner?
James - I can if you want me to.
Morgan - That would be great. I don’t feel like cooking tonight.
James - You don’t feel very good do you?
Morgan - No I don’t. My morning sickness is pretty bad.
James - I know exactly what to bring back for dinner for you.
Morgan - Aww, that’s sweet that you remember what my favorite chicken soup is.
James - (Smiles) Of course I do cuz I know it makes you feel better. Just go back to sleep and I’ll be back before you know it.
Morgan - Ok, I love you James.
James - I love you too.

James gives Morgan a kiss and then gets up to leave for his appointment with Doctor Eve. He lays down on her couch in her office.

Doctor Eve - Nice to see you again James.
James - Thanks for squeezing me in.
Doctor Eve - It’s no problem James. Now lets get started. Last time you were here we talked about what has happened to you here in the present. Is there any traumatic incident that happened to you before you met your wife Morgan?
James - I’ve never told anyone this but before I met Morgan and her now ex-husband I had an apartment with a female roommate. Everything was going fine until she became obsessed with me and wanted to have sex with me
Doctor Eve - What happened?
James - She kept asking me out and I would turn her down cuz I wasn’t interested in dating then since I’m a professional hockey player and with all the travel and what not I had no time for a love life. I had come home from morning practice and went to the fridge to grab a sports drink to drink like I always do after a hard practice. After I drank it a few hours later I started to feel sick. I decided to go lay down on my bed. When I got to my room I had passed on the bed. My roommate then came home and found me. Instead of getting help she had sex with my drugged body. I called 911 for help after I came to cuz I knew I wasn‘t feeling right. They sent an ambulance to come get me and take me to the hospital. Tests were done on me and I was told I had been drugged and sexual assaulted. A few days later my roommate was arrested and my landlord kicked me out of my apartment and had to live in my car until Morgan’s ex-husband told me one day after practice to come live with them and well the rest is history.
Doctor Eve - Have you thought about telling your wife about this?
James - Yes but I just don’t know how to tell her and how she would react to hearing this.
Doctor Eve - If she loves you like you’ve told me she does she will stick by you. If she doesn’t is she worth staying with?
James - Maybe you’re right doctor but I don’t want lose Morgan. She’s a very important part of my life. She’s not just my lover, wife, and mother to my kids but she’s also my best friend. (Starts to cry)
Doctor Eve - (Hands James a box of Kleenex) She must be pretty special for you to cry over her.
James - You bet she is. She is so amazing and I shouldn’t be afraid to tell her this secret.
Doctor Eve - She’ll understand if you two love each other like you say you do. Well, James that’s the end of this session. I want to see you again when you return to town.
James - Ok thank you doctor.

James shakes the doctor’s hand and tells her thank you. He goes to get dinner for him and Morgan. He then goes home. While he and Morgan are eating he tells her about the secret he told the doctor at his session. He is relieved that Morgan doesn’t get mad at him. She's in shock that someone would do that to him. He takes Morgan to bed so that they can leave early the next morning for Canada. They lay down on the bed. Morgan snuggles up to James and goes right to sleep. James wraps his arm around her and goes right to sleep until the next morning. Hours pass and they’re at James’s parents house in Whitby.
