Madeline sat in her room, trying to give herself the perfect pedicure as her father came in. Tyler Sr may have been the Captain of the Leafs and a fighter when he needed to be, but he crept around the house like a cat. He could scare anyone at any time. "Hey you." Madeline almost jumped. "Stop doing that, creeping up on me thing." She did her second coat of Bikini so Teeny as he sat on the bench in front of her bed. "So how is everything Madeline Genevieve." He wanted to know what was going on his youngest child's life. "I fucked up dad. I broke up with Aaron to be with Morgan and got back with Aaron that night. I feel so bad. But I think Aaron's the one for me Dad and I just made a mistake with Morgan because I didn't like the person Aaron was becoming, but we got back to the real us, and I love him." She rambled on as she put on her last coat. "That's why Morgan is moping around the Leafs locker room, like someone died. His new relationship. RIP." She laughed, which was bad she shouldn't of laughed. She felt so terrible. She owed Morgan a lot. She put him through the ringer.

"Yeah, so when is Jack coming home from the lightning prospect camp?" She asked him as she made the NHL Network louder on her TV. "In two days. I think the last day of Camp is today." Tyler looked down at his phone. "Well there was a bundle of activity at the Tampa Bay Lightning Prospect Camp today, Jack Gilmore, son of Tyler Gilmore got hit from behind during a scrimmage and didn't get up for almost 5 minutes. Thankfully Jack got put on a stretcher and driven to the hospital, and the Lightning said he should be okay for the start of training camp. He suffered a grade 1 concussion. This happened 20 minutes ago." Both of their jaws drop. How did they not know what the fuck just happened to Jacky. "Dad!" Mads yelled as she grabbed her phone from her bathroom. "TYLER, TYLER." Gabrielle Moore yelled from downstairs as Tyler Jr ran into Madeline's room. "Dad did you just see the video of Jack?!" Her brother could of had a Max Pacioretty incident on the ice, just now. And nobody contacted them. That's when Mads phone went off. She quickly answered when she saw Jack's face on her phone.

"Hey so don't tell Mom and Dad. But I kinda have a concussion." She almost died. "JACK ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. It's all over NHL Network. Mom is like yelling, and Tyler is like in shock and Dad is on with your agent. What happened?" She couldn't handle Jack and all his injuries. "Nothing, the new prospect got a little rough. I am just tired. Coming home tonight. I am getting released from the hospital. Can you tell dad to squeeze me in with the Leafs team doctor tomorrow." She couldn't believe what happened. "Yeah Jacky, okay. The Video it looked bad. You weren't moving." Tears came out of her eyes. She couldn't control her blubbering. She couldn't lose her brother. "I know it looks worse then it was. I am just sore and my head hurts." She shook her head. "A Stretcher was involved Jack, come on." Her mother came in and grabbed the phone from her as she heard her front door slam. She saw Aaron come in and she ran into his arms as he stroked her hair. "How are you? Anything I can do?" She nodded nothing. Aaron knew how scary these concussions could be, and the hit looked way bad. "Their releasing him from the hospital. Apparently it's only a grade 1." He looked at her. "Seriously that looked like a grade 3, or 4. Is there a Grade 5?" She couldn't laugh at a time like this. "Just shut up and kiss me. And hold me. And be my boyfriend." He nodded as she clinged to him. "Jack's going to be fine." It was still a scary incident. "Please promise me, nothing like that will happen to you." He looked down at her. "I promise baby." He kissed her. She hoped he was right.
