"Someone looks happy to be alive,” Marc teased
“I forgot Whitesides came around with a fucking megaphone,“ Sam muttered, “I almost pissed myself,”
“you just have to deal another morning,” Marc assured.
“yeah but I start college next week, so it wont be any different,”

He smiled simpathetically as he handed her a plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. The portions were not generous, because the guys had a diet to stick to. She sat down at a huge feast table where the entire team was stuffing their faces. She did as well, and no words were spoken. Of course she was stuck between Milan and Brad.

“Need. More. Food,” Tuukka groaned lying his head on the table.
“well you can't” Chris snorted.
Tuukka went total bitchface on him, causing Sammy to almost spit out her orange juice because she was laughing.
“alright ladies,” Conditioning coach, John Whitesides called entering the house, “Time to head out.”
“what are we doing today?” David asked, “were gonna have a little competition between teams,” Hollers errupted from the table.
“Team clutch!” Brad called, “me vs everyone else,”
“Youd lose pitifully” Whitesides said nonchantly, “now everyone outside,”

“we passed this already,“ Dougie whined
“Well I have no idea what the clue means!” Torey huffed
Reilly and Sam looked at eachother. They had stayed towards the back of the pack, watching everyone disagree. Sammy looked up and saw a yellow banner up on a branch. “look!” she pointed, “theres the flag.”
They all cheered.

Patrice held her up to she could climb the tree. She got it and jumped to the ground, waving it victoriously.
“c'mon lets go so we dont lose,” Dougie said
They rushed back to the lakehouse to turn in the banner. Out of 4 teams they came in 3rd, but at least they didnt have to run laps.

"Can you believe it's been a week?” Adam whistled, "soon itll be pre season,”
The entire team, coaching staff, Peter, and Cam sat around the bon fire.
“its go big or go home this year,” Peter shook his head, “we worked so hard last year but we came up short.”
“we just need to play to our abilities.” Zee shrugged, “we dont have the best superstars, but we have the best team, and when we're at our best we can't lose,”
They all started clapping.
“I think i cried a lil,” Sammy teased pretending to wipe her eyes.
