My new life

Rebecca P.O.V.

I went inside wallgreens to find what Annie wanted. When they didn't have it, I walk back outside and Annie was not at the front. I look every where and I don't see her or her car. I was getting worried.

"Rebecca?" I look and it was Sid and he had black dress pants, white dress shirt and black shoes on.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was picking up something for Annie before we go to my party, but she bailed. My phone is in her car. By the way happy birthday Sid."

"Thanks, well I was getting a water bottle and headed to the bowling rink with some of the guys. Did James told you?"

"No, he didn't. Do you mind if I could join? I can call Annie with James phone when we see him." Once I got in the car I couldn't stop thinking of why Annie would drop me off at a Wallgreens and not telling me. When we got to the bowling rink, it wasn't busy at all. Once we got inside the building it was dead silence. Then all of the lights came on and everyone scream.

"Surprise! Happy Birthday Rebecca and Sid!" I fell on the ground because I get scared easy. The rest of the night I was having a nice time. All of my friends came, Sid's friend, family and the whole team came to. When I saw Annie I had to push her. We were dancing, playing games and bowling. Sid and I were dancing and this time I was not going to drink. I was having a blast dancing with Sid. He came to my ear.

"Do you want me to give your present now or later when things are quiet?" I grab his hand and we headed to the quiet bar.

"Now it's nice and quiet." He grab out something from his pocket. It was a black box.

"You might think this is to fast." He open the box and it was a small ring with diamonds all around the band.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I want to say Yes but not that second, I bet that if I say yes then that would be his gift from himself for me saying yes to be his GF.

"Yes, I will be your girlfriend." He put the ring on my finger, place his hand on to my face and gave me a kiss."

Two months later. We have been taking things slow since Sid ask me to his girlfriend. I haven't told James because he's my brother and if we brake up then he is going to beat the crap out of Sid. But lately James has been more busy with more working out. Annie is super busy with school and work. She work's at a small fashion magazine. Sid and I have been going to a couple of the Steelers games. That was so much fun. I met all of the players. Now I become a football fan now. Sid and I were having brunch.

"So when is your next torment?" Sid ask.

"It starts in Oct 12 -15 in Seattle." When I look up at Sid he was in total shock.

"What?"

"Oh, um that's when the season starts. When do you need to leave."

"I leave on the 10th so that means three days. I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you. I have been so busy with the whole thing. I have to remember 6 or 7 routines for this whole thing."

"Who's taking you to the airport?

"Coach Dallas and I are going together so you don't have to drop me off."

"When can I see you before you leave?"

"Well we leave at 5 in the morning and the plane leaves at 7AM. How about the 9th then, have a movie night and you could even spend the night."

"How?"

"There are four rooms in this house. Annie will spend the night and you can to."

"Ok then, we'll have a movie night." He lean over the table and gave me a kiss.

The Next Day

Annie and I headed to walmart to get some things.

"So is it true that you and Sid are dating now?"

"Will you tell anyone?"

"It would stay with me until I will go to the grave."

"Yes we are." I showed her the ring that Sid had gave me. I wear it around my neck so no one will ask question of why I have a ring on my ring finger.

"When are you going to tell James?"

"I don't know, well we have been dating for two months."

"You should tell him tonight."

"Why?"

"Well it's been two months and if James hasn't figure that out then he's so blind."

"I'll talk to Sid and see if we should or not." We got everything from walmart and headed back to my place. Annie had to go back to her place to get some stuff. Before I had one foot on inside the house. James was a little upset.

"What's wrong?" As I was putting the bags on to the island of the kitchen.

"Sid just told me that you two are dating? Is that true." Wait, what. Did Sid told James behind my back?"

"Yeah, we have are yo mad at me."

"Well I'm not mad at you but you should have told me in the first place."

"When did Sid told you?"

"After practice, we were the only ones that Sid came up to me and told me everything. I'm just glad that you two haven't slept with each other yet."

"OK, TMI ! (To Much Info) Well I was going to ask Sid when we were going to tell you. He's coming over for a movie night before I leave for Seattle." We watch a couple of movies. It was getting late so we all headed to bed. Since James knows that were together it would be fine for Sid to sleep with me.

James P.O.V

I think it's great for Rebecca to start dating. She's been so focus on her work. Just like Sid. But I think she need more than just Annie and I. I was so glad when Sid came up to me and told me about everything. I was getting ready for bed and I heard my door knock.

"In the bathroom." Annie came in and sat on the counter.

"So when are we going to tell Rebecca that were together?"

"I don't know."

"But can I sleep with you?"

"Why not?" I gave her a kiss. When we were in bed. Yes I think that it's weird that I am dating Rebecca best friend. But I do have more feelings with Annie than any person that I have ever met.

"Maybe after Rebecca is done with this whole torment thing."

Sid P.O.V

In the morning I was getting all of my stuff pack and was helping Rebecca getting ready for the trip. There was a knock on the door.

"Coach's here !" James said. Rebecca came out of the bathroom with black and yellow sweatpants, a penguins hoodie and DC shoes on.

"Are you ready?" She came over to me and put her head on my chest.

"I wish that you can come." I wrap her around my arms.

"Rebecca we need to go!" I hear Coach. I grab her bag and we headed downstairs. I was holding her hand. Once she got in the car I kiss her goodbye and they left.

"Ok, I'll make breakfast then." Annie said. When we got back to the house. James and I were just watching Annie doing all of the work.

"By the way Sid you should see if you have a date to see you can go and see Rebecca."

"I should but I haven't seen the full schedule. James do you have it?" James went on his laptop and check it out.

"Well it looks like we play Buffalo and then have two days off. Go to Seattle and then on the second day we are headed to Ottawa. That's only a short two days to hang out with her. You have to leave the day of the game to get on time to Ottawa." James told me. I like that idea.

"So when should I book it?"

"Um, now. I can tell you where her hotel is at and where the whole torment thing is at." Annie smiled.

It has been a couple of days later and I call Rebecca and she said that she's been having a blast in Seattle. Annie showed me her facebook page to see all of the photo she's been taking while she's there. She did look like she's having fun. After we beat Buffalo 5-1. I headed to the airport and heading to Seattle. When I landed to Seattle and Annie gave me where her room is at the hotel. I was now at her front door. After I knock I was holding my breath. When the door open I was so happy that I could see her smile.

"Sid! Oh my god! Your here!" She wrap her arms around my neck.

"I watch your game on tv you did great." I walk into her hotel room.

"So what should we do?" She ask.

"Well sleep I am so tired."

"Ok, I am tired and I have to head to practice for a little bit." It was so good to have her in my arms. She had a nice view of Seattle. In the morning we headed down to the hotel breakfast lounge and had great breakfast.

"So how long are you going to be here?"

"Until the night of the 15th where you are going to win."

"Yes tomorrow is the most big day for me. If I do great then I will win the whole thing."

"That's great, I can't wait for that." After Rebecca's practice we went sight seeing. Went to the Space Needle, look around small shops and had a nice dinner and headed back to the hotel for Rebecca to get a good night sleep. While she was sleeping I was going over videos of what we need to do to bear the Senators. It was close to midnight and I think that I need to get to bed. Big day for her I don't want to fall asleep. When I got in the bed I heard something. Rebecca spun around and now were are face to face. I touch her cheek and she smiled a little.

"I love you." She said in a low tone. I couldn't believe that she just said that.

"I love you to." In the morning of the big day for Rebecca. She starts at 1 and she has two routine and the last one is the big one.

"What are you songs for both of your routine?"

"The first one is "Don't Wake Me Up" By Chris Brown and the second one is "Turn Me On" By Nicki Minaj.

"Well your going to be great?"

"Thanks Sid."

"By the way, I heard you talk last night." She slap her forehead.

"Yeah I forgot to tell you that I sleep talk when I get nervous. What did I say?"

"You said that you love me. Is that true?"

"Yes Sid I do love you. I mean no guy will fly across the U.S just to see me. That means a lot to me." She place her hand on to mine. On her first stake she did great. Her next stake is only 40 minutes away. I went to find her and tell her that she did great.

"I didn't do great they all gave my 8 or an 8.7."

"Well that's why I am here to give you that 8.7."

"Very funny." I sat down on my seat and waited for her.

"Rebecca Neal is next" The speaker said. Everyone clap and of course I did. She was doing great and she was almost done. When all of a sudden she landed on the right foot she just scream and fell on the ice. Oh my god, what's going on?! What should I do? She was screaming in pain. The doctors were on the ice trying to find out what happen to her. I spotted Coach Dallas and he was in total shock and scared of something bad is going to happen. When he was walking away and follow him. I look back at the rink and two men were helping Rebecca get off the ice. When I catch up to Coach and Rebecca. She was crying and he knee was red as a cherry. Once they got her stakes off and gave her something for the pain. She finally could be relax without being in pain. I sat next to her.

"What happen?"

"I have no idea, all I could remember was that I was almost done with the routine. Then I felt like someone took a knife at stab my right knee. Do you have any clue what happen?"

"No I haven't."

"Well I know that I lost, oh well. I still have more to go. It's not the end of the world."

"Wow for someone just got hurt and still have a positive additive about the whole situation. This is why I love about you." The doctor at the rink told us that she needs to go to the E.R to see what's going on. While Rebecca was getting a MRI Coach Dallas and I were sitting in the waiting room.

"How bad do you think this will be?"

"Bad, I think that she won't be ready until next year. I think she torn her ACL. That's 9 months of her to recover. All that hard work went threw the window." A nurse came, told us that the doctor was ready to tell them the news. We walk in and Rebecca was sitting on the bed. I went over to hold her hand and wait to get the news.

"Hi, my name is Dr. Gavin Cook, So Miss. Rebecca you have a torn ACL and MCL. I'm sorry that you can't stake for the next 9-10 months." We all to look at her for her response. She just nodded her head and her eye where just red.

"You need to get that fix back in Pittsburgh in two weeks." Dr.Cook told us. The worst part of this is that I have to leave tomorrow and she's needs more than anyone. She just told me that she loves me. I have to be there for my team. Once we got to the hotel room, I had to pack. Rebecca was watching T.V with an ice pack on her right knee. I finish packing and I was ready to go. I lean to give her a kiss on the cheek.

"I promise you that I will be there when you get your surgery. I wish I could take you home myself but coach wants your knee to rest one more day before you get on a plane for 6 hours."

"Well, I'm just glad that you were here to support me."

"Bye, I love you."

"Love you to." When I shut the door. I could hear her crying. I wanted to do was drop my thing and go back in there, wrap her around my arms and tell her that everything will be alright. When I got to the airport I need to call James and tell him what's going on.
