Sid's P.O.V

A week later, we have won every game and I can't wait to go home and see how Rebecca doing. We landed from Toronto, I went back home to get some sleep. We got in around 5 in the morning. After I slept in and I pack a bag just in case if I was going to spend the night. When I got to their house I couldn't wait for a second. Once the door was open and it was Rebecca. I pick her up and spun her around.

"Sid, my knee it's hurting a little." I sat her down.

"Sorry, I'm just happy to see you. How's your knee before I pick you up?"

"Good." She grab my hand and we went to watch tv.

"Where James?"

"I think taking a shower. You guys come home really early. I heard James came in a 5:45 AM. I think he just got up about 10 minutes ago. I told him that he needs a shower. He said that he doesn't need one. After a game you need to take a shower. He thinks that if he shower more than 4 times a week he might go bald." We both laugh of what James though of. Once we find what we wanted to watch. It was just a perfect afternoon with Rebecca.

"So I have a question for you."

"Yeah."

"What if my sister Taylor was dating a hockey player for a while and didn't tell me. Should I be upset or be cool with that?"

"Well how long have they been dating?"

"Two years."

"Two years and didn't tell you. I would be mad or if you two are close like James and I. If your not that close than you don't have to worry about it." So Rebecca will be piss when she finds out about Annie and James.

"Are you going to spend the night tonight?"

"I have a bag pack just in case."

"Good because your going to use it tonight." We had dinner with James, watch a movie, James and I were getting tired from the flight that we wanted to go to bed. Having Rebecca in my arms was like holding on to the stanley cup. Just amazing. In the morning, I heading down staris to grab a cup of coffee. I was just wearing my running pants and shirt. When I walk into the kitchen. James was there with a shirt and a running pants to. We both nodded our heads as a hello. It was quiet just drinking our coffee on the kitchen island.

"So um, don't get mad at Annie but she told me about you and her. She wants to tell Rebecca but she doesn't know when." James nodded his head.

"I have been thinking for that since I have been traded. But I didn't know that Annie will move here just to be with Rebecca."

"Well if you keep on waiting the more mad she will get when you tell her."

"What would I be mad?" Rebecca came into the kitchen.

"We were going to do was going to make you breakfast in bed. But your not in bed any more."

"Yeah right, James doesn't know how to cook."

"I do, I could make a pretty good french toast." She sat down next to the kitchen island and watch me cook for her. I sat the plate in front of her with the french toast. She took one bit,her eyes close and she moan a little.

"Sid, these are the best french toast. I have ever had."

"Thanks." I gave her a kiss.

"So who do you guys play next?"

"It's home and we play the Oilers. Then we don't play until two days against Avalanche."

"That's cool. Can't wait." I went in for another kiss.

"Hey, you can kiss when I am not here. I don't want to see my teammate kissing my sister." James came in just to get his coffee.

"Sorry bro."

"Hello." I hear Annie came in and was holding two starbucks.

"Rebecca get ready, we need to go."

"That's right, I forgot. Give me 10 minutes." She kiss me on the cheek. Grab Annie's arm and took her up stairs to get ready.

Rebecca P.O.V

Once I change and told Sid that I was coming back soon. Annie and I were going to our spot since we moved here. Our spot is the Roberto Clemente Bridge. We would come to the bridge every two weeks have our Starbucks and just talk.

"So how's you knee doing?"

"Good, I start rehab tomorrow before the game. I think that Sid wants to take me to my first rehab."

"That's cool. It's been while since we have done this. How come how we don't do this often?"

"Well, having Sid as a boyfriend and that I am the face of figure staking. Then you with the small fashion magazine. Witch by the way we need to find you a boyfriend. I'm tried that I am the only one dating. James isn't but I know that he's been busy with the season."

"By the way when did you get the Steelers sweatpants, new coat, new shoes, beanie hat and scarf?"

"Oh, Sid gave them to me as a get well gift."

"That Sid, we treats you well. Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah."

"Can you tell me why you and Mike end it. I though that you two were great together." I told her why that I didn't want to marry him.

"So all of that was because of nightmares. Wow, maybe that was a sign not for you to marry Mike. But what if Sid ask you to marry him?"

"I don't know, let's just take one day at a time."

"Now, let's go back to your place because it's getting to cold out here." Annie run to the car. Of course that it takes me longer to walk because of the knee brace. Once I got in the car it was nice and warm.

It was now my first day of rehab and yes Sid did take me my rehab place. It was a little hard. It was an hour of pain but my trainer told me that I am doing great and that I could recover faster than a normal ACL tare. Sid pick me up.

"So how was your first rehab?"

"Hard, but I like it. My trainer his name is Jake but he told me if I could keep it up I could recover faster than a normal ACL and MCL tare."

"That's good news."

"Can I spend the night with you at your place this time. I mean I love that you spend the night at my place but this time. I could pack my bag and ride with James. Then we have two days just you and me."

"Well after we play Colorado then Toronto. Then that night we leave to Ottawa."

"Then we should have a date night then."

"Ok then see you tonight then." He walk up to my door and gave me a kiss.

Annie came over to help me to pick out what I should wear for our night.

"Do you think that this would be the night that you two, you know?"

"Maybe, let's just see how my knee will do?" Annie was staring to laugh.

"You sound old when you just said that."

"I did, but help me pick out something after our dinner."

"I think that's a yes."

While James and I are in his car it was just quiet.

"So your going to spend the night with Sid tonight."

"Yep."

"Are you and Sid going to have ... um you know."

"James, let's not talk about it I think that it's only Annie and I to talk about that kind of stuff. Also it's very uncomfortable to talk about it with you. Like if I ask how many girls have you slept with since you move her to Pitt."

"Good point."

After the game the beat the Avalanche 6-2. Sid and James both got a hat trick. I was waiting for him at his car. People were telling me bye on their way to their car. Then I see Sid was wearing a nice suite. I was wearing a nice lace black dress,red high heels, bow tie ear rings and a red leather jacket on.

"Wow you look beautiful and your wearing heels. You didn't have to with your knee."

"I do and this is all for you because there is something I want to say."

"And what is that."

"That I love you."

"I love you to." He kiss me on the nose. We went to a nice dinner restaurant. During our dinner people came up and told Sid that he was awesome at the game.

"Sorry about that."

"No problem you were awesome tonight."

"What are we going to do when we get back to my place?"

"You wait and see." When we got to Sid's place we gave me a tour and put my bag in his room. I went into the kitchen and I took off my heels. The floor was really cold that it made me shake. When I was walking around in the kitchen and I see two glass and a wine bottle. Sid came in with a wine bottle opener.

"You don't have to, I mean with the meds I'm taking."

"Oh that's right, I totally forgot about that. Sorry."

"It's ok I think I have something better than mine." I grab his hand and went to his bedroom.

In the morning I hear Sid getting ready to go to practice.

"Morning." I sat on his bathroom counter.

"Did I wake you up?"

"No, I was up a couple of minutes ago. I had a good time last night."

"Well that's good. Was it a little better than Mike Green?" I was in complete shock that he would bring Mike in this.

"Why are you bringing him up? I told you that we are just friends now."

"Well it's just that you didn't tell me the first time we met and that you were engaged to him. Then you didn't want to because you had nightmares about the whole thing."

"I didn't tell you because we just met and that I didn't know that we are going to be dating. I just did't want to say hi I'm Rebecca Neal, yes the sister of James Neal and that also I was engaged to Mike Green. Why I broke it up because I was having nightmare about the whole thing. I'm sorry that I didn't, but you haven't told me who you have been dating." I got off the counter and went to change.

"Rebecca?."

"Are you mad at Mike or the team that gave you the concussion a year ago?" It was just quiet.

"I don't know what to say right now, I told you that I have a good time then you wanted to know it was better than what my ex did. I'm going to leave."

"Wait, I'm sorry please let me take you home. I just wanted to be better a boyfriend than Mike did."

"Well I think number 1 rule of dating is not to compare your ex. I'm ready to leave now." He grab my bag. On the ride back it was just quiet. When he drop me off at my place, I didn't even say said bye, grab my stuff went inside and took a shower. When I got out of the shower there was a knock on the door. It was Annie.

"Ok, now you have to tell me everything that just happen last night." So I told her everything but what we did when we got to his place.

"So how's nice is his place? Is it big?"

"Yeah and it's only 20 minutes away from here."

"Did you two you know?" I went in my bathroom to change and get ready to go to the mall.

"Oh my god you did. I could see it all over your face." When I came out I was still piss of what he said.

"What, did I say something wrong?"

"No, Sid said something wrong this morning."

"What did he say?" So I told her what happen.

"Wow, are you going to the game tonight?"

"Nope, I think we need a break from each other."

"No ! You are not going to break up just because of one little fight."

"We are not breaking up, I just need space that's all."

"Ok, good I don't want you to break up. Let's just stay in after we go to the mall. Have a girls night in."

They lost to the Maple Leaf 3-6 and no one has no clue why they got cream by them. Sid wasn't having a good game. Was it because of the fight that we had this morning. I won't see James tonight because they are heading to Ottawa.

"You should call Sid to see what's going on?" Annie handing me my phone.

"No, I am going to bed." I headed up to bed.

"Ok, see you later then." Annie left and I look on my computer to see what the fans thinks about the game tonight. Then my phone was ringing. It was Mike.

"Hey Mike."

"Hey Rebecca, what's going on with your boyfriend?"

"I don't know I bet he has a stick up his ass." He started to laugh.

"To tell you the truth, Sid and I got into a fight before the game. So I think it was my fault that they lost the game."

"It's not your fault, it's the teams fault that they didn't win. Who do they play next?"

"They play at Ottawa tomorrow. What about you and the Capitals?"

"We play the Ranger at home."

"Do you know how long a flight from here to DC?"

"I think only an hour why?"

"I think I need to get away from Pittsburgh for a while. Can you pick me up tonight?"

"Why not." I grab a bag, a couple of outfits and headed to the airport. Mike was there to pick me up and headed back to his place.

"So Sid has not clue where you are?"

"No one has to clue where I am, not even Annie."

"Good, I have you all to my self."
