Sid P.O.V

It was really good to have Rebecca back with me. We were watching tv, Rebecca was sitting up and all I could see was her bare back. I started to rub her back and kiss her temple.

"It's good to have you back."

"Well make up sex helps to." There was a knock on the door. She grabs the blanket and heads to the bathroom.

"I'm going to take a shower." I went to see who was at the door. I open it and no one wasn't there.

"The other door." It was Duper, when I open the door I came into his room.

"Rebecca's here and she's going to take a shower."

"Oh, ok. Coach told me that you went to D.C for what?"

"Oh, Rebecca went MIA on me and I wanted to know where she was. To be sure that's she's fine." Duper nodded his head. I look at the time and it was 3:30.

"We need to get ready before we get there." Once I got my suite on, Rebecca just came out of the shower with a towel around her body.

"The ticket's on the table and I have to go. See you tonight on the plane." I kiss her good-bye and headed downstairs for the bus.

"It was a tuff, hard game but as a team we won and that's great for us." I told the last reporter and I see that Rebecca was waiting for me. On the plane back to Pittsburgh. It was only an hour flight but both Rebecca and I fell asleep on the flight. Rebecca went with James back to their place. I would see them later so, but I would love to sleep soon. In the morning I went to put my clothes in the basket. When I open my bag, I look in and this wasn't any of my stuff. It was Rebecca's stuff. Something caught my eye, it was a small black box. When I open the box, it was a ring. There was a small note inside.

"Yes I think you should have this and not me. Everytime I wake up and see this on my bed side table. I think of you everyday. I will always love you and will be on your side no matter what. Mike." So this is the engagement ring that Mike gave Rebecca. There was a knock on the door. I put the ring back in it's place. When I went to see who's at the door. It was Rebecca and she had my bag.

"Hand me over my bag and no one doesn't get hurt." I started to laugh.

"Come in." She handed me my bag I went up to grab hers. When I came down and handed her bag.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Has Mike tried to get back with you?"

"No, once I left we just talk and be more like friends than ex."

"Has he tried to give you your ring back at any chance to make you change you mind." She gave me a weird look and then shakes her head.

"You look inside my bag didn't you?" She was clam from this whole thing.

"Well yeah because I though it was my bag."

"Just letting you know this, but I found it in my bag before the plane left. I thought it was nice that he kept it the whole time."

"Are you going to keep it?"

"I don't know."

Rebecca P.O.V

A couple of weeks has past and everything is back where they needed to be with Sid and I. Sid's doing better than his past seasons. Annie and I are going to our spot then after I have to go to rehab.

"So what are you going to do for x-mas?" Annie ask.

"I don't know, just go home with James to see the family."

"Are you going to ask Sid to come with you or does he have plans?"

"I haven't ask."

"I will ask him tonight after they play the Devils. Sid's spending the night at my place. Maybe I will just ask him if I could go with him and see his family, I'm not in the mood with my parents. Did you know that they haven't called me to know how I was doing with the whole knee situation."

"Really."

"I have no idea, I need to go for my rehab." I gave Annie a hug and went for my rehab.

Sid P.O.V

After beating the Devils 4-2, it's going to be good to have tomorrow off. Rebecca was getting ready for bed and I was watching tv.

"Rebecca where's the remote?"

"I think inside of my bed side table." When I open her bed side table, I couldn't believe my eyes. She still has the ring that Green gave her. I quickly put the ring back and change the channel.

"I have a question for you." Rebecca said. She came into her room and threw the towel in the basket.

"Well there are two but can you rub my back, it's hurting really bad."

"Yeah." She sat between my legs and I was rubbing her back.

"My second question is what are you doing for christmas?"

"Go home and see my family, what are you going to do?"

"I was thinking of going home, but I don't know."

"Maybe I should come with you, I haven't met James parents yet."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Why not."
