Rebecca's P.O.V
Annie, James, Sid and I are heading to my hometown for x-mas. It was good to see everyone and now they ask me about my knee. We had a nice dinner, Sid and I are tried from the flight. I had rehab before we left. In the morning I was the first one up, Sid was still sleeping. Annie sleeps on the coach, when I walk into the kitchen dad was making pancakes.
"Marry Chirstmas dad." I went over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I look around to find Annie sleeping.
"Where's Annie?"
"I don't know I have been down here for 40 minutes and I've been the only one.
James P.O.V
In the morning I was watching Annie sleep.
"It's creepy that your watching me sleep." She smiled. Then I started to tickle her. She scream laugh.
"Don't you might wake up Rebecca." She's trying to fight me off.
"She can't, her room is on the other side of the house. She's can't hear us." Then she was kissing me.
"Oh my god!!" I look up and I see Rebecca standing outside of my room in total shock.
"What are you two doing?! I can't believe that you will do this to me!" Rebecca just run away.
"Rebecca wait, can we just talk about it?" Annie went after Rebecca. Great I thought that this will never happen. I went after them to. Annie was standing next to Rebecca's door.
"Rebecca can you open the door and talk about this?" Annie ask. We didn't hear anything.
"Please Rebecca we are adults here, let's talk like adults." Then the door open and it was Sid that open the door.
"I have no clue what you two are talking about but Rebecca's not here."
"Then where's Rebecca then?" Annie ask.
"I do, Sid get dress I need your help and Annie you just have to wait. I think the boys need to do this." After Sid got change and in the car I told Sid what just happen.
"So what are you going to tell Rebecca?"
"At this point everything, but you have to tell her that you know that Annie and I were together when Annie told you at the hospital." Sid just nodded his head.
"Were are we going by the way?" Sid ask.
"We are going to the one place that Rebecca loves more than anything back home." Once I park the car, I see someone sitting alone on the dome. Sid and I were walking close to Rebecca.
"Here let me go up first." I told Sid, I climb up and sat next to Rebecca.
"I know this would be the spot you were going to be at." She didn't say anything.
"Can we talk about the whole thing?"
"How long have you and Annie have been you know?"
"Two years."
"Two years and didn't tell me! You get mad at me with me dating hockey player and yet your dating my best friend for two years!" She yelled at me. I see Sid coming around to face us both. She look at Sid.
"Did you know about this?" Sid nodded his head.
"How long?"
"Annie told me the day you had you surgery."
"So you knew this whole time and didn't tell me."
"Annie told me not to tell you. She just didn't know when to tell you, she wasn't ready."
"Do you love Annie?"
"Yes I do love Annie, we have been dating for two year, you should think that I weren't."
"I hate this family."Rebecca climb off the dome and grab Sid's hand. Rebecca walk away and into the trail that leads back to the house. When I came back Annie was waiting for me in my room.
"So how did it go?"
"I told her everything but I don't know how she took it. She grab Sid's hand and left. They will be back soon." We haven't seen Sid or Rebecca all day. We were all sitting around the living room.
"Where could Sid and Rebecca be at?" Mom ask.
"I have no clue. I think that we won't see Rebecca for the rest of the holiday."
"Why?" Dad ask. I told them what happen this morning.
"That was the last time I was with them."
"But why did she say that she hates this family?" Peter ask.
"Well for dating her best friend for two year and never told her. She's upset that none of you called her to ask how's she doing with her knee and rehab. Or that she's the last person to know what's going on."
"We didn't know about her knee until you told us."
"Yeah but I did told you when her surgery was, you could have been there to she how she was doing.She's your daughter and sister. I bet you that if we go into her room right now their bags are pack and on a plane back to Pittsburgh right now." Dad was upset by this whole thing. Daddy's girl is upset that no one cares for her. We all went up to her room and I was 100% right, all of their bag are pack. The rental was gone and so are they.
Rebecca P.O.V
We landed in Pittsburgh around 10 PM and I was going to spend the night with Sid. When we got to Sid's place I grab my stuff and I headed to the guest room.
"Rebecca what are you doing?"
"I'm going to sleep. I'm upset by you to, so I guest the only people I should have trust is me or Mike." I shut the door, lock and headed for bed. In the morning someone woke me up my knocking on the door.
"Please Rebecca can I come in and can we talk about this." I open the door and walk back into the bed.
"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you, I though she was going to tell you soon. She was going to tell you when your high on drugs but she thought that was to easy. I wanted to tell you but I kept my word that I wouldn't." I kept nodded my head.
"Now James just text me that they are coming over to talk about it. By the way are you going to spent the night again because there's going to be a big storm after James and Annie lands."
"I don't want to talk to them! I don't want to be even in the same room as them."
"Please do this for me." Once they got to Sid's place, I just wanted them to talk and I wouldn't say nothing. We were all sitting on the kitchen table and it's death quiet.
"Rebecca I'm sorry that we didn't tell you, I love you as a friend and I would love to be."
"Why should I when you have been lying to me about you dating my brother, I don't want to be your friend any more. I don't want to see your face anymore. I'm going to take a shower now." I walk away and I felt Sid grab my hand.
"Don't do this to Annie?"
"Are you on her side or mine?"
"I'm on no one's side."
"I don't like that answer." I went upstairs to take a shower. That night I was reading in bed, the storm was getting worst and then when heard Sid's phone was ringing.
"Hello, wait what. Oh my god! Yeah we will try to make it soon." Sid's voice sounded weird, he flew to my door.
"Rebecca please open the door I have some bad news."
"The door's unlock." When he open the door his face we bright red.
"What's going on?"
"Annie got into a car accident and she's might not be able to make it."
"Wait, what?!"
"After they wen't back to James place they got into an argument and that they should break up because Annie loves you. She left and got into a car accident. We need to go now." All the hated that I had for Annie went away, she's my best friend and I will always be by her side." We were close to the hospital and it was James calling on Sid's phone.
"Hey James, what's going on?" Sid put the phone on speaker.
"Annie's dead." He's trying to hold back the tears.
"How?"
"Some idiot slam his car on her side because he didn't knew how to stop on ice. Flip the car down a hill. Broke her ribs and her neck was snap. That kill her instead. She's never coming back." Then he started to cry.
"I don't know if you have Rebecca in the car with you. But I was going to ask Annie to marry me when I told Rebecca that I loved Annie now everything's a mess."
"Do you want me to come or should I head home?"
"You should head home, tell Rebecca what happen. Tell her that this is not her fault, it's ours. We should have told her about the whole thing. I'm heading back home right now. We play Detroit tomorrow, see you tomorrow." He hung up the phone and all I could do was to cry. I lost my best friend. Sid gave me a hug. That night I didn't sleep, all I could think was how her accident happen. Then my phone beep. When I look it was a voice mail from Annie.
"Hey Rebecca, I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry and we should go to the game tomorrow and just talk. Just you and me. Well I better hear from you soon, I need to focus on the road. Love you." I started to cry but I went to the guest room to cry so I won't wake Sid up.
