Just Say Yes

Today was the day that Kennedy’s farther Brent will find out if he’s cancer free. It has been a couple of weeks since his last surgery and treatment. Patrick was at the Johnny center while Kennedy and Addison were at the hospital. They were in his room, waiting for Brent and the doctor to come back.
“K, Sorry for what I said. I wish that I didn’t said anything. I can see it in your eyes of how much you love Patrick."
“Thank you.” It didn’t take that long after their talk when Brent was wheeled to his room with his doctor behind him.
“So we have some good news. Brent’s is cancer free.” This put Kennedy in tears of hearing her dad is free from cancer. She ran up to her dad and gave him a hug.
“I need to go call Patrick right now.” She walks out of the room and tried to give Patrick a call but he didn’t answer. Patrick was still on the ice when Kennedy called. Brent was thinking of just moving to Chicago from Thunder bay. When Kennedy heard that news her idea was to let her dad lived in Patrick old apartment.
“Daddy I think this will be easier for you to moved."
“Have you talked to Patrick about this?"
“No and he hasn’t answer his phone yet. But he will be home soon. Dad we are moving into this amazing house and I’m just happy that you want to be here."
“I know honey but I think I can handle this by myself.” Then the door open and it was Patrick coming home.
“Kennedy?"
“Living room.” When Patrick came into the living room he had champagne in his hands.
“Got your voice mail and I though that we need to celebrate about this."
“That would be great.” Brent got up from the chair and place his hand on Patrick’s shoulder.
“Let’s go open that sucker up.” The boys headed in the kitchen and get some glasses.
“Cheers for a new clean bill of health.” They click their glasses and was happy to be together.

Kennedy was in the bathroom when Patrick was getting out of the shower. He wrapped a towel around his waist when he stepped out.
“I was thinking since my dad is moving here. Maybe you should let him move into this apartment."
“What did he though about that?"
“He didn’t say anything he was trying to change the topic. I don’t think he wants it and I should just let him do what he wants to do. Big game for you tomorrow, playing against the Penguins. I bet Addison will bring the twins to that game so Sidney could see them.” Patrick came closer to Kennedy and grabs her left hand to see the wedding ring.
“What?"
“I’m just… I feel so luck that I have you back and how much I love you.” He placed his lips on to hers before Kennedy could say anything. It didn’t take that long from Patrick to pick up Kennedy and walked over to the bed. Kennedy’s hands were going through his hair while he was kissing her neck. His hands were going to her sweatpants to pull them down. Once they were down her ankles his lips went to the upper part of her thighs. Patrick loves the sound of Kennedy’s moans and when he heard her moan it made Patrick get hard. The towel that he was wearing was now on the ground. As he pushed into her faster, harder and showing Kennedy how much he loved her. Kennedy knew that she was coming and there was nothing that can stop it. She moaned his name and once he stop both of their breaths were fast.
“Wow.” Was the only thing that came out of Kennedy’s mouth before she feel asleep on Patrick’s chest.

Addison and Kennedy were walking down the hall with the twins in their strollers. When they reached the Away dressing room. Addison spotted Chris Kunitz walking out he had the soccer ball in his hands.
“Hey Addison.” He gave her a hug.
“Hey Chris is Sid there a couple of people want to met him.” Addison moved over so Chris could see the twins. They were wearing their sweaters.
“There so cute, let me grab him.” Chris went back to grabbed Sid and he didn’t came back with just Sid. David Perron, Patric Hornqvist and Brandon Sutter.
“They are so cute."
“When are you going to get yourself one?” Addison pushed Sidney a little.
“When he finds a girl first.” Brandon making fun of this. Sidney just rolled his eyes. “We need to give them a Penguins sweater.” Sid smiled when he looked closer at Raylan.
“Don’t think so Crosby.” They all turned around and see that Jon was coming over.
“Jon.” They both shook hands and they didn’t stay that long because the boys need to get ready for the game.
“Good luck boys.” Addison and her group went up to the family suite to watch the game.

It was the night that Kennedy wanted to forget. It look like a simple play but they want Patrick hit the board against the Panthers. When Kennedy saw Patrick walking to the dressing room she knew in the pit of her stomach that he’s not coming back to the game. Addison was at home with the kids and she was texting her during the game. Kennedy wasn’t walking to the dressing room, she was running her life to the dressing room. When she reached to the dressing room. Patrick was already out of her gear and waiting for Kennedy.
“What’s wrong?”
“I think my collarbone is broken so they need me to go to the hospital right now but I told them to wait so you can come with me.” They headed to the hospital and Kennedy knew that there was something wrong but it wasn’t because of Patrick. It was her body was making her feel sick. When Patrick was with the doctor Kennedy went to Wallgreens to grab a couple of things before she heads back to the hospital. They have a room ready for Patrick when he was done being in surgey to get his left side collarbone. She was in the bathroom waiting for the test to finish. Her iPhone told her that the timer is over. Kennedy put up the stick with her shaking hand and eyes are full of tears. The stick was showing a pink sign. She didn’t know who to call. Her finger press a contact that she will know that he will answer her phone.
“Hello?"

Sorry about the going off the grid for a while. I need to step a back to know what I am doing to this story. I needed to clean it up and wanted to know where this story is heading to. I hope you like the remake and still love the story. How about Kaner getting those two goals tonight!
