What Dreams Forget

Evgeni Malkin was skating around Bridgestone Arena getting ready to play hockey. Geno thought it was such a strange thing to play against Lazy. He hate that his friend had been traded to Nashville. But Geno was exited to go out with Lazy after the game. It would be like old times in Pittsburg.

"Lazy" called Geno from the blue line " You no make score tonight. Sorry."

"You crazy Russian bastard of course I will score." laughed Neal "It's James Neal Bobble head night."

"I know. Have tiny Lazy with giant head. I put him in locker." smiled Evgeni

"Pete's here" said James "Go rattle the glass"

"K good game Lazy" said Geno skating for the area where Peter and Tori Lynn sat. Geno noticed Pete arguing with a very pretty girl. Then he notice the pretty girl was in Lazy's old jersey. Maybe Lazy had figured out to move on from Melanie.

Evgeni Malkin pounded on the glass a few feet from Peter and Tori Lynn. Peter threw a hand up and waved at G. The tiny girl next to him turned a megawatt smile towards the big Russian. Geno waved back at the pair. The tiny girl was hot. Maybe he could talk Peter and Lazy into bringing her out with them.

Geno skated back over to the Pens bench. He was teased because of going over to visit Lazy. Geno wasn't sure what a bromance was but Pauly was his wife not Geno.

"Lazy has girl in his old hockey jersey with Peter." said G shrugging.

"Who is she?" asked Sidney "What the hell happened to the reporter he was banging."

"Melanie no like Nashville." replied Geno "Lazy sad drinking alone. Now new girl Lazy fixed. Explain why him score without me."

"Damn G tells us how you really feel?" laughed Paul Martin "He hasn't mentioned a new girl."

"I'm going to go check out Nealer's new girl" said Kris Letang.

"Easier to see pretty girl on way to locker room." said G.

On the way to the locker room they all glanced up at the brunette with Peter Neal. Sure enough she was wearing James old Plymouth jersey. Sidney watched the interaction between her and Pete. He wasn't sure she wasn't dating Pete. Once in the locker room the boys were discussing Nealer latest acquisition.

"See the girl" asked G

"Yeah" said Sidney "I don't think she is Nealer's girl. Maybe she is with Pete."

"Non" replied Letang "No way Nealer let iz baby brother 'ave 'er."

"Fuck Letang" said Sutter "She kinda gets a say."

"Non" said Letang smirking "for 'er I make decisions." Kris's French always got more pronounced when he was being a complete horndog thought Sidney.

"No Kris" warned Geno "Lazy sad. No pick up girl. Besides she already smiles at me."

The entire locker room was laughing. But that tone changed the minute they were due to step on the ice. James Neal was a Predator and they were there to beat the Predators.
Tori Lynn was amazed at how loud it was. She was even more amazed at the number of people there in Sidney Crosby and Pens gear. Blech.... how did she end up here. And moreover how did she end up in a James Neal jersey. But on a positive note she had managed to smile at Evgeni Malkin.

"So is Geno coming out with us?" asked Tori Lynn.

"If James doesn't go out G will come over to the apartment. Stay away from him and Letang. They use girls like tissues." said Pete

"You boys are awfully bossy. Stay away from this one stay away from that one. What if I don't mind being used?"

"Do what you want then" said Pete "Richie will have a coronary."

"I'm not worried about Richie" she laughed "Richie isn't a monk himself."

"Yeah but you also are not a puck bunny." replied Pete. Sidney Crosby scored and the
building went wild.

"Well that sucked" pouted Tori Lynn. The period ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of the Pens. The second went scoreless. Peter laughed at Tori Lynn for non Neal fan she was sure pissed when he missed or when Sidney messed with him. The third period started with a clang. Literally a clang thought Pete. Did Jamie know they weren't playing cross bar? Sidney scored again. Followed by Evgeni Malkin. The Preds were down 3-0 with 23 seconds left in the 3rd. It was going to be a long night thought Pete. Tori Lynn was creative with the number and variety of names she called the Pens. Pete wanted to get her out to one of his games. Maybe her and Jamie could come over to Knoxville.

"Let's just chill here while the crowd thins out. Then we will go down and see Jamie." Pete explained

"He probably doesn't want to see me. I can hang out here and wait on you guys."

"No way Tori Lynn. Richie would kill me." replied Pete.

"Why am I murdering you now Baby Neal." asked Richie coming to a stop behind them.

"She was going to just hang out here until I got back from the locker room."

"Nah, come on lets go to the lounge." said Richie "Sick jersey Boo."

"I hate you both" said Tori Lynn

"Aww you look cute in Nealer's hand me downs." said Richie "Next time I can get you a jersey of your own."

"Deal, but I want a Gnash one"

"Double zero" laughed Richie "Good thing you are tiny. They only come in kid sizes."

Tori Lynn glared at him. He led them around the Bridgestone with ease. They stood in the player's lounge. Tori Lynn flopped down on a couch and Pete soon followed. Tori Lynn yawned and looked at her phone. It was nearly midnight at home. Explained why she was so tired. Tori Lynn leaned over against Pete. He threw an arm around her and she snuggled into his chest.

"Aww isn't that cute Nealer" laughed Paul Martin "You lil bro stole your girl."

"Ya Lazy" said Geno "You no tell me you have no girl."

"She isn't my girl" said James "She is a family friend of Richie's."

"Oui" said Kris "So she 'iz not yours. So she 'iz free?"

"Fuck off Frog" said Neal "Richie will beat you with your own leg."

"So you no like the girl" asked G.

"I like her just fine. She is like a lil sister to Richie. Off limits." James explained

"Since when has that ever stopped you Neal" asked Sidney.

"Fuck off Crosby" replied Neal

Tori Lynn opened her eyes and looked at the Pens surrounding her. She heard bits and pieces of the conversation. "That's what you should have told him when he had his stick in your damn skates in the 3rd. Or any of the rest of the time that he was fucking you. I knew you let Evgeni have his way with you but Crosby?"

Paul Martin busted out laughing. "Oh, I am going to like you."

"Thank you for house breaking James" replied Tori Lynn " I guess we need to swap how to care for Neal tips. I am going to be feeding him and Richie."

Tori Lynn looked at the rest of the guys standing around. She nudged Pete awake. "Pete and I are on the struggle bus with being tired. We apparently should nap like the rest of you all."
James just shook his head. "Guys this is Tori Lynn. Tori Lynn Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, Marc-Andre Fleury and Paul Martin."

"Damn Letang" said Tori Lynn "pictures don't do you justice. I'm not sure we should let pucks fly at you. Might mess up the pretty."

"Oui" said Kris winking at her "But I am tough."

"No no no" said Richie coming into the room "Letang you and your French dick back away from Tori Lynn. Really Tori Lynn he is practically married."

"I didn't say I was going to fuck him. I just said he was pretty. Look at him. Damn even you know he is pretty Richie." said Tori Lynn smiling. Pete was rolling laughing. He had not adopted the rigid posture he took when the Preds were around. Tori Lynn took that as a sign Pete trusted these guys. "Come on Richie tell Letang he's pretty."

"I'm buying you a chastity belt and looking into those towers they put princesses in." replied Richie. They all laughed.

"So what do you all want to do tonight" asked James. Go out and have a good time was a
consensus. But they wanted to stay out of the public eye.

"I have an idea" said Pete "Let's go to Tori Lynn's new bar."

"It's a dive bar" warned Tori Lynn "And you are all way over dressed." She glanced at all the suits.

"We can ditch the coats and ties" replied Crosby.

"Okay" said Tori Lynn "But no fighting. I just got the job there today."
