"Please shut up." Audrey snapped as she drove.

The girls were all driving up to Danielle's aunt's cabin for New Years. Sam had let Audrey take his giant car to fit all the girls. It was brand new. His parents had bought it for him for Christmas. It was a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. It was beautiful. Audrey was nervous to drive it. This was Sam's new baby. It meant more to him than she did.

"Ease up." Danielle rolled her eyes.

"Do not tell me to ease us. This car is Sam's baby. He loves this thing more than he loves me." Audrey hissed.

"He doesn't love anything more than you." Holiday laughed. "Driving tense is more dangerous than driving relaxed."

Audrey took a deep breath. The girls were right. She was gonna be fine. She was a good driver and Sam wouldn't leave her over his car. Not that she was going to intentionally damage it. The rest of the drive was more relaxed. Audrey had lightened up so everyone was having fun.

They got to the cabin and unpacking. Audrey parked Sam's car in the garage to protect it. The girls all got situated in their rooms. Danielle's family was wealthy. There was enough rooms for every couple to have their own, and then some. They were here for two nights. They had time to party. The guys wouldn't be up until the next night. The girls needed some of their own time.

When the girls woke up, they all got ready for a day of drinking. They started around noon. It was Christmas break, they needed some fun. The boys would be there anytime. It was a three hour drive and they said they were leaving four hours ago. They were bound to get lost. Mack was driving and Mack was terrible with directions.

It was partners pong. Dani and Audrey against Holiday and Dana. Both pairs had a single cup left. The sun was just starting to set. The boys informed the girls they forgot to put gas in the car and had to push the car to a gas station. That's why they were running so late. The girls were too drunk to mind. Audrey threw the ball and sunk it. Her and Dani cheered.

"We have redemption." Dana cut their celebration short. "We hit this and you miss your next throw, we win."

"Loser skinny dips in the lake!" Kylee grinned from the couch.

Holiday sunk her ball. Then Dana did as well. They were grinning. Audrey and Danielle hadn't left the table all night. They were not about to lose. They both had to hit their shot. Audrey wet her ball, then threw it. Her arm followed through and she sunk it. She patted Dani's back. Dani took a deep breath. She wet the ball then threw it. She missed. They had to skinny dip.

Maybe it was because of how drunk they were, but they were excited about it. Audrey and Dani came running out of the backdoors. They were laughing as they ran down the incline to the lake. They stripped as they ran. The boys had just pulled up as the girls came running out. Sam had hopped out of the car and was running after the girls. Michael grabbed towels and then slowly walked down. Sam was at the edge of the water screaming at them.

"Get out of the water, Audrey." Sam growled.

"Come get me." She taunted as she swam backward.

"Babe, I got you a towel." Michael said to Danielle as he unfolded it.

Dani ran out of the water and over to Michael. He covered her and carried her up the hill. Audrey was still swimming around. Sam was getting angry. She was having fun, but he wasn't. He didn't want to deal with the wrath of Dustin if Audrey came home with anything wrong.

"Please get out. You're gonna get sick and your dad is gonna kill me." He sighed.

"Holy, buzzkill." She groaned as she swam in. "I was just trying to have fun." She explained as she walked the rest of the way.

Sam took off his jacket and made Audrey put it on. "You're crazy." He shook his head as he zipped his jacket up.

"But you love me." She sang as she leaned into him.

The couple walked up the hill, grabbing the clothing the girls had tossed off. Sam told Audrey about their drive the entire walk up. She just laughed. They were a complete mess. She made a couple passes at him, earning head shakes. They eventually made their way to the cabin. Sam carried her into their room to keep her butt from being seen.

After Audrey and Dani dried off, the group all sat together in the loft. All the couples were cuddled together. The girls were done drinking for a bit but the boys had just started. They were all starting to get a little rowdy. Not Sam. He was never rowdy. It didn't matter who he was with or what he was drinking. Audrey rolled into his side. He kissed her forehead.

"Sam, do you love your car more than me?" She pouted, brushing his hair back.

He furrowed his brows as he sipped from his beer bottle. "What? What would make you think that?"

"It just means so much to you. You called it your baby." She sighed.

"Aud, I like my car, yeah. But I don't love it more than you. It's a car, you're my girlfriend. But be silly." He reassured her.

She smiled up at him. "I was so scared to drive it. Ask any of the girls how tense I was. I didn't wanna mess with your baby."

"You're my baby." He stated before kissing her.

"Hey, let's go beerbogganing." Mack spoke, not moving from the couch.

Everyone got excited. So that was their plan. They grabbed all the alcohol they needed and bundled up. They found tubes and toboggans from the garage. Audrey proved to Sam that his car was in perfect condition. He shut her up with another kiss.

That was fun until Kylee fell off her tube and landed face first in the snow. Eric got her and carried her up and they called it a night. Well, so they thought. They decided on going into the hot tub. All the couples were close and the drinking was still going on. Everyone was laughing and joking around. Besides Aaron and Candice. They were just a little too far gone and close to doing it in front of everyone. Zach cleared his throat to get them to notice. Dana smacked his chest.

"Uh, we're gonna go to bed." Aaron coughed, standing and climbing out.

"Happy New Years." Candice smiled, following behind him.

"Oh god, please don't make a mess! Stay in your room!" Dani cried.

As it got closer to midnight, everyone was back in the loft. They watched the ball dropping on the tv while the fire crackled in the fireplace. It was peaceful. Aaron and Candice came out of their room just as it got to the final three seconds. Everyone was ready for their midnight kisses.

And as the ball dropped, all the couples kissed.
