Prove Me Wrong.

'Kieran's POV'

Monday night Lauren and I found ourselves back at the American Airlines Center for some playoff hockey. This game was the deciding factor if the Stars would go on or be eliminated from the playoffs, and to say they were nervous was an understatement. Well frankly everyone in the entire building was nervous, but the guys in green down on the ice were really feeling it.

As the game went on the team looked great, completely different than they had played in California. Being on home ice must have really lifted their spirits! Jamie had a beautiful goal in the first period, Lauren and I were cheering and dancing along to the goal song when the camera panned over to me smiling like an idiot. My face soon appeared on the jumbotron, with "Jamie Benn's Girlfriend" flashing under my name. My eyes widened and I felt my face heat up as Lauren laughed. I waved to the camera, still smiling until they panned away from me, I shoved Lauren lightly as she was still laughing, "Shut up Laur, we should broadcast Cody Eakin's fuck buddy under yours?!" She glared at me and huffed, she was still mad that Cody hadn't asked her out yet. We sat back down to watch the rest of the game unfold.

The Stars ended up winning the game 3-0 shutting out the team who had crushed them in the first two games of the series. I was so proud of Jamie and the rest of the team, they finally had their heads up and the monkey off their backs. Being in the playoffs meant that there was a lot more media to be done especially with all 3 of my boys (Jamie, Tyler, and Cody) having goals and assists during the game. So the waiting game was even longer than usual for the WAGs.

Eventually the guys came into the family lounge Lauren and I hugged our boys as Tyler pouted, "Do you two have any more friends? Third wheeling sucks.." I looked to Lauren and we both laughed, "Group hug," I said as we both hugged Tyler, he laughed as he tried to squirm out of our embrace. We let him go and I was wrapped up with Jamie again, "Any plans for tonight Captain?" I asked and he looked to his friends. "Well we're all hungry, so how about dinner?" I smiled, "Perfect, we brought a change of clothes just in case." After leaving the building Lauren and I changed in the parking lot, both of us slipping out of jerseys and into nice tops. I swapped my Sperry's for heels and was ready to go following Jamie to his favorite steakhouse.

'Jamie's POV'

The 3 of us guys sat in the parking lot of the restaurant waiting on the girls, I could only imagine the two of them both 6 foot something trying to get dressed in a Jeep. But they refused to go to dinner wearing hockey jerseys. Kieran eventually pulled in parking her Jeep next to my truck, when she got out I looked her up and down. How did she go from looking all sweet and natural in my jersey to sexy in a matter of minutes?

She had let her hair out the bun it was and fell in waves, her feet were now in heels that made her legs look longer than they naturally were, and the top she had on was strapless and contrasted against her perfect skin. She was so damn beautiful. "Jamie? JAMIE?!" she was now in front of me waving her hand in front of my eyes, "What? Sorry." I stammered, blushing knowing that I was caught. She smiled and leaned down kissing me from her height advantage, why did she have to love wearing heels?

The five of us went into the restaurant easily getting a table along with a thousand congratulations. During the dinner we celebrated not only our win but also the girls passing their test. We toasted them and said we were throwing them a party sometime soon. The conversation died down as everyone ate until Kieran piped in, "I guess now is a good time to tell everyone my good news," my eyes darted over to her what good news? She hadn't told me anything big since her results came in. "Umm what?" I asked quietly. She put her hand on my bicep, "Nothing too big babe I haven't told anyone."

She turned back to our friends, "I have an interview Wednesday at Hillside Vet. They're expanding and I was recommended!" "Oh my god Kieran, that's huge!" Everyone else jumped in asking questions and she answered them all, I knew she would do great that office would be lucky to have her.

When dinner was over and the 3 of us guys were all yawning, and the girls were chatting away about animals and graduation dresses. I interrupted tapping Kieran on the shoulder, "Hey babe, are you ready to go?" She said yes and we left the restaurant, dividing up people between the cars by destination. Kieran's last day at the surgery center was tomorrow so she wasn't going home with me so she took Tyler with her leaving me to take Cody and Lauren to his place. I kissed her goodbye, wishing her good luck on her last day. I knew she was sad about leaving and that they didn’t offer her a job, but now she was free to spend the whole month of May in Ireland so that made up for it. She was so excited to see her grandparents and part of me wished I could go with her, but she never mentioned it and I wouldn’t want to impose on her well-deserved trip.
