Allison's POV:

We got back home a little before 3am. I rubbed my eyes and sleepily followed Max into the house, "I'm so happy you finally get some time off." I said with a smile, kissing him on the cheek.

He laughed, "I know. I am too. What are we going to do with ourselves?"

"I don't know." I smiled

"So did you enjoy the game even though we lost?" Max asked

I nodded, "Yeah...would have been a lot better if you guys smashed them."

"Yeah and if that jerk hand't spilt pop on you."

I laughed, "Yeah that too. I'm gonna head up to bed. Are you coming?"

"In a few. I'll probably hop in the shower first." he replied

I nodded and kissed him before heading up to bed, pulling off my dirty Flyers shirt and putting one of Max's shirts on, before climbing into bed. I didn't want Max to know about me running into James. He'd make a big deal about it and I just didn't want any drama...

I sighed and grabbed my phone seeing a text message from a number that I sure as hell wasn't expecting...James.

-I am sorry about yesterday...I always seem to bump into you like that. Also I know you probably don't want to hear from me, but I think we should talk...I'm sorry, Allison...for everything.-

I sighed and deleted the message, laying back in bed and falling asleep.

James' POV:

I know that I shouldn't have texted her, but I just really wanted to talk to her. I just wanted to know what really happened between us...what I had done to make her hate me as much as she did. If she even hated me, that is.

I looked over at Jen laying next to me and sighed. I loved her and all, but Allison still had this hold on my heart and I didn't know why. It wasn't sure what I should do about it, either. Knowing Allison, she probably just ignored my message and deleted it without even reading it. Or she showed it to Max and he was on his way to kick my ass and she'd never speak to me again.

"Baby...are you still awake?" Jen asked looking over at me

"Yeah...I couldn't sleep." I replied.

Jen cuddled up against me and kissed my cheek. "Just close your eyes and think of happy thoughts."

I sighed and shut my eyes, but the only thoughts that came to my mind were of Allison.
