Allison's POV:

About a month had past since I saw James last. We hadn't spoken since that night at the coffee shop. I was back home in Philadelphia waiting for Max to get home from practice. They had a game that night at home against Chicago.

I sighed and looked at my phone. I wanted to call or text JAmes, but I just had feeling it would be a bad idea. I didn't know where I stood with him. I mean, I wanted to talk with him more and even see him more, but I knew it would probably never be like it used to...

Just then, my phone rang. I looked at the number and was surprised. It was the last person I'd ever expect to be calling me...it was Geno.

James' POV:

"Have you ever heard of condoms?" Brandon Sutter laughed as he handed me the stick tape. We were at the arena for practice and I was helping Heinzey out with the equipment.

I had just told the guys that Jen was pregnant again. When she told me the previous month, it wasn't sure that it was for real, but we had went to the doctor and it was for real. "Yeah. I just don't use them." I replied

"So is it yours?" Beau Bennett asked

"I fucking hope so." Engo snorted

I smacked his arm, "Yes, Sunshine, the baby is mine..."

"How do you feel about it?" Kunitz asked

"I'm happy." I replied. Which was true, I was happy to be able to be a dad again, but I was still having thoughts about Allison...I just didn't know where things were with her and where they stood with Jenny anymore.

"But?" Engo said looking at me

"I'm just really confused about some things and I don't know what to do."

"What things?" Sutter asked

"Oh you know like Allison." Engo replied rolling his eyes

"James, you better not leave Jen for her!" Kuni said shaking his head.

"I won't.." I replied, but I wasn't so sure that I even believed myself...

"Allison is bad news, Nealer. She cheated on you. Twice with Geno and once with Max. Then she treated you like you had cheated and acted like you did something wrong! I think she is crazy." Kuni confessed

"She's not crazy...she's just..."

"A bitch? A slut?" Engo interrupted

I hit him again, "Don't talk about her like that, Deryk!"

"Sorry, man, but it's the truth."

"No it isn't..." I started to argue. I was getting annoyed. Allison wasn't a slut and it wasn't fair to me or her to call her that...

"James, I'm sorry, but Engy is right. I mean she cheated on you and then was all mad at you for not wanted to be friends." Kuni added

I had had enough, "Whatever...I'm going home. See you guys at the game."

Allison's POV:

"Geno...what's up?" I said answering the phone

"Not much. James say he see you." he said

"Uh yeah like last month at the game...and then we got together and talked." I replied

"Yeah."

"Is this why you called?" I asked with a laugh

"No. I call to invite you to a party we have. Sid finally got house all fixed and it have indoor pool so we having party. He ask me to invite you and Max." Geno said

"I don't know if that's a good idea, Geno..."

"Please? Sid want you there and I'll talk to lazy about it. Please come? Melanie coming!" he begged

I sighed. I couldn't possibly say no to him. I had nothing wrong with the rest of the guys and it wasn't fair to take out all my anger towards James on them. I just didn't want James to be upset by mine and Max's presance, but it was Sid's party and he invited me. "Okay, we'll come, Geno. When is it?"

"Sunday...and we play the Flyers Monday so you guys can stay here and it not be problem."

"Alright. See you then." I replied, hanging up. What had I just gotten myself into...
