Karly looked out the window of the plane. She and Sidney were on their way to Nova Scotia for Christmas. Karly was so nervous about meeting his parents for the first time. She loved Sidney so much and wanted his parents to approve of her. Karly was brought out of her thoughts by Sidney's hand grabbing hers she looked up at him and smiled nervously. "Every thing OK?" Sidney asked

Karly nodded "I'm just nervous..."

Sidney gave her a smile "Don't be. My parents and sister will love you."

"I hope your right." Karly said

Sidney kissed her on the cheek "Just be yourself, Karly. Don't try to be something you're not. My parents will love you just how you are because you're amazing and they know how much I love and care about you."

Karly smiled "I love you so much Sidney."

"I love you even more Karly." Sidney replied giving her hand a squeeze

The flight lasted for two hours. Karly slept on Sidney's shoulder through most of it. After getting their bags they went out to th parking lot. Sidney's parents had dropped off a car earlier that morning so Sidney could drive he and Karly to his house before heading over to their house. Sidney pulled into his driveway and opened Karly's door before grabbing out their bags "Welcome to my home." Sidney said smiling

"It's beautiful, Sid!" Karly commented.

"Thanks. Follow me, I'll give you the tour. Then we can rest up for a bit before heading to my parent's." Sidney said

Karly nodded and let Sidney show her around his house. He had a game room set up with a foosball table, a xbox, and a lot of hockey memorabilia. He then showed her the smaller bedrooms, the guest bathroom, then his bedroom with a walk in bathroom. "Wow, Sid."

Sidney smiled "Yeah so...um...you want to rest up a bit?"

Karly smiled and nodded "Yes...your bed looks way comfortable...I can't wait to...test it out."

Sidney's smile widened "There will be plenty of time for that."

Karly pulled him over and kissed him "Oh yeah...so we better actually rest up."

Sidney laughed and kissed her neck "Mhm." he mumbled "I'm gunna change in the bathroom. You can change out here."

"Okay." Karly said

"Oh and we have to get my dog, Sam, from my parent's too." Sidney said

"You never told me you have a doggy!" Karly said happily

Sidney laughed "I didn't? Yeah I have a dog."

"I love animals! Dogs, cats, horses..." Karly said

Sidney smiled "Yeah me too...well dogs more than cats...I'm a dog person."

"Go get changed now...so we can snuggle." Karly said.

Sidney kissed her on the cheek, grabbed some sweatpants and went into the bathroom. Karly changed into one of his t shirts and a pair of sweats. Sidney came back out and smiled at Karly who was sitting on his bed. "You look so beautiful sitting on my bed." he said

Karly laughed "Oh, Sid...stop it. Now...care to join me?"

Sidney grinned and climbed in bed next to her. He pulled her closer to him and she helped him pull the covers up. Karly snuggled against him and he wrapped his arms around her. "Sleep well, babe."

"You too, Sid." Karly replied giving him a quick kiss.

"And don't worry to much about later...they'll love you." Sidney replied

Karly smiled and fell asleep in Sidney's arms.
