It's a Girl's Game

Jamie didn't love many people who weren't family. So when she tells you you're special to her you can't take that for granted. Once she trusts you can't lose that or you're never going to get it back.
Olli Maatta knew that and that is why he never does anything that hurt that friendship. Sure Jamie can be a pain in the ass but most of the time she was a great friend. The one thing Olli always knew was that Jamie always has his back no matter what happens.
There was one guy who didn't hang onto the thing he had with Jamie Jokinen and now he lost her and she's never coming back. The guy took her for advantage and not he was paying the price of never have Jamie in his life.
Meet Saku Rinne, no relation to Pekka Rinne. Never forget his name for he was the one who hurt Jamie so much she may never love a guy again. Now this isn't some drama story you hear teenage girls tells, this is Jamie's true story told through the eyes of one of her best friends.
Olli Maatta couldn't tell you the first time he met the stupid blonde haired girl he now calls his best friend. The first time they met was when they probably 1. Jamie ran over to the Maatta's yard and accidentally ran into Olli. Ever since then they have been the best friends.
It wasn't always rainbows and kittens though, there were times when even their families thought they would never talk again. Their fights were few and far between, but when they do fight it can get ugly for everyone. Their worst fight came when Jamie got a boyfriend.
Now right now many people would be thinking Olli was jealous and that was he didn't like him. By the way Jamie's boyfriend was Saku Rinne. No, Olli was not jealous he just did not trust the guy Jamie was somehow heads over heels for.
Maybe Olli was a little jealous but that didn't take away from the fact Jamie was in love with a jerk. He didn't know the truth about Saku but through school he has heard horrible things. Those rumors that later turned out the be the truth almost killed Olli and Jamie's friendship. Olli almost lost his best friend.
Jamie met Saku on July 7th, 2011, the summer Jamie and Olli planned to spend together since Olli would most likely be headed to Canada to play the next season. That was probably part of the reason Olli hated Saku's guts, but it was more of what he heard about him that make Olli hate him.
What Olli heard made him want to break the two up that much more. This probably wasn't the best idea in the world since Jamie was happy so Olii was happy, right? No. Olli was not one to listen to rumors, especially about people, but seeing this guy take away his best friend got him thinking, maybe he should listen to them, at least one. The one that Olli always heard was that Saku was basically a male puckslut. He finds the prettiest girls, sweet talks them, takes them home and well you get the point, it wasn't something Olli wanted his best friend with.
It was three years into the relationship when Olli noticed something was up with Jamie. She wasn't her normal bubbly self and that got Olli concerned. There was usually only one reason Jamie would act this way; she was sick. Olli was going to go with something was going on between her and Saku.
July 21st, 2014 was when Olli heard something he never wants to hear again; Jamie crying. Jamie was one of the strongest people Olli knew, before that day he had only heard Jamie cry once before, when her grandfather died. The same grandfather who taught her all about Finland's history and the same person Jamie looked up to so much. Of course the first thought through Olli's head was: Did someone die? Not exactly the best first thought but Olli didn't know what to think.
Going against everything he knew about Jamie he knocked on her bedroom door.
"Go away, I don't want to talk," He heard her say.
"Not even to your best friend?" Olli asked.
"Olli?"
"Unless you got a new best friend to hang out with, can I come in?"
"Yeah, its unlocked," she said
"What's wrong JJ?" Olli asked as he sat down beside Jamie.
"Everything," Jamie mumbled into his shoulder.
"Why do you say that?"
"I just found out Saku has been cheating on me for the past year, maybe longer," Jamie choked out.
"Jackass," Olli mumbled under his breath.
"Olli, please don't do anything stupid," Jamie begged.
"Why do you think I-"
"Because I know you Maatta and I know you wouldn't let anyone hurt me and get away with it," Jamie said.
Olli wasn't going to do anything stupid because it wasn't stupid to stick up for your best friend. The minute Olli saw Saku he was going to make him pay for hurting his best friend.
It's hard to say exactly what Olli did to Saku Rinne when he saw him, but Saku was later seen with a bloody nose and a black eye. Ever since that incident Jamie was never been on another date. That one idiot boy ruined love for Jamie Jokinen, maybe.
It's hard to tell what Jamie will do, but one thing's for certain, Jamie has the greatest friend out there in Olli Maatta.
