With the "Enemy"

The Philadelphia Flyers were finally in Boston and Jackie was a little less then excited. Don't get her wrong, she was happy to see them but she was nervous about her 'date' with Steve.
Jackie was getting ready when she heard a knock on her door. She had no idea who it would have been, except maybe one person. She opened the door to find herself face to face with her brother.
"Claude, what are you doing here?" she asked.
"What? I'm not allowed to see my only sister?" He asked.
"I never said that, I just wasn't expecting you to come over here," Jackie told him, "Come in, I was just getting something small to eat. What something?"
"Sure, what you got?"
"Not much cereal's really the only thing," Jackie said.
"What kind?" Claude asked.
"Trix."
"Same cereal for the past 24 years sis," Claude laughed.
"Yup! Why mess with a classic. It hasn't changed either so we're all good."
"Wow," was all Claude said before shoving the cereal into his mouth.
"Shut it carrot head," Jackie snapped when she saw her brother laughing.
"Carrot head? Like you can talk," Claude said.
"Claude 'Carrot Head' Giroux, how does that sound?" Jackie asked, trying to get a rise out of her brother.
"Jackie 'Orange Head' Giroux," Claude retorted.
"That doesn't even make any sense, and I've got to get going," Jackie said, completely changing the subject.
"Why?"
"I got a job to do. Got to go help some Bruins learn go beat you," Jackie said, putting her bowl in the sink.
"Very funny Jacklyn," Claude said, " Can I just stay here?"
"Sure, just don't break anything," Jackie said.
"See you later."
Claude was watching TV when he heard a knock on the door. After a few seconds he figured he should probably get it, he just wasn't expecting the person on the other side.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Um, I'm here to see Jackie, something came up," Steve Mason said.
"What do you possibly need to see her for?"
"Uh, we, um, had plans for tonight but something came up and I need to do something different," Steve said.
"Why did you guys make plans?" Claude asked.
"Uh, why does it matter?"
"She is my sister and I want to know why her and one of my teammates made plans. I sounds like a date," Claude said.
"Um, would it matter if it were a date?" Steve asked cautiously.
"Depends."
"One what exactly?"
"If you hurt her, you are dead, I don't care that you are my teammate. If you hurt her in any shape or form, you are dead meat," Claude threatened.
"You know, one of things Jackie always complained about you was that you were never a brother. Right now it sounds like are a being the overprotective brother everyone knows," Steve said sitting down.
"Yeah, well me not being home had something to do with it. Eventually I just learned that she's old enough to take care of herself, but now keep mind what I said," Claude said.
"Will do," Steve squeaked out.
"Good, now get going," Claude shooed Steve out the door.
"Hey Stevie boy," Jackie said meeting up with him outside TD Gardens.
"Hey," he said quietly.
"Let's get going."
"Alright."
"Steve seriously, what's wrong," Jackie asked.
"I talked to your brother today," Steve mumbled.
"Why?"
"I stopped by your apartment and he was there. We got talking and thinks this is a date and then he got really overprotective and that's it," Steve said rushed while also taking out the threat part.
"Well, why is that a problem?"
"I just don't want to upset my teammate," Steve mumbled.
"OK."
They were eating when Jackie brought up a topic that has been on Steve's mind for a awhile: "So, we've been talking for awhile now. and this is basically our second date. What are we exactly?"
"I don't know, but I think this make you my girlfriend."
"So that means you're my boyfriend."
"I like the sound of that," Steve whispered before his lips met Jackie's. And it was the best kiss either have had.
